Hello All of our Great Subscribers.. We realize that most people know they need to remove the sticker, we did not want to Waste video time removing the sticker and we wanted the sticker on there to show that the tires were actually brand new, after the video was over we removed the sticker and treated that area.... A Huge Shout out to Mark Thomas for Funding us! Today we share a new and improved video. We did not know the original method could be made even better. This works so well you won't believe it when your tires just keep going and going! If you mist your tread as shown once every 6 to 7 months and do the sidewalls as shown every 6 to 7 months you will be all set. Quote for this Sweet Saturday: “Don't wait; the time will never be ‘just right.’ Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.” Josh K.

The only discount I really find is sometimes places like discount tire will give you an extra 10% off online with an account etc. But I'm with you I buy locally but just search online. Alot of places will match prices of authorized resellers online so even if your an In person kinda guy you can still window shop if your place price matches

    1) Do you think you can use this on plastic such as cv axle boot, etc.? I saw a very famous RUclips "guru's" video and the stuff he recommended was very expensive. This stuff is very economical if it works.
    2) Does the tire have to be brand new to treat it or could you use the 99 spray to clean them and the three ingredient mix to treat them if you were willing to remove the tires, etc.?

    • @SweetProjectCars

Plasticizers. Basically, what keeps plastic and rubber soft and able to expand and contract as the wheel rotates and encounters different forces boils down to the chemical compounds in the material. Plasticizers are some of the most important, but they are hard to keep retained in the material. With time, oxidation, damage, and uv exposure they slowly leach out of the material and cause it to become more and more brittle. Eventually if too much is lost the part fails (plastic parts breaking, or tires losing traction and/or tread)
303 aerospace protectant works in two major ways. The exact formulation is a trade secret, but as I understand it is basically a water-based solution that adds both more uv protectant and more plasticizers to what you put it on. Applying it periodically slows or stops the usual wear process.

It slows up the oxidation and vulcanizing of the rubber that makes it brittle and breakdown/ crumble. Did this on my truck tires and the look like new after 9000 miles in 100 Degree California weather and parked outside in the sun. It works! Traction is just fine, too. A 50,000 mile warranty tire could go 75,000, I reckon.

@@michaelm2502 The warranty has nothing to do with treadwear; it's all about manufacturer defects, nothing more. I've never had a tire last 75k miles (without 303 and a lack of alignment issues; 303 won't help if alignment is thrown off).

I am not in a hurry to get the tires on as I don’t drive the car much and can wait if need be. Or, will being inside at 68 degrees work? Thanks.
