    What about the eclipse centuries ago. Did they go blind ?The aztecs, Native Americans and cavemen.

      They didn't see colors to start with, so obviously no risk for them. Colors are a 20th century discovery

    I've looked at a partial eclipse for at least 30 seconds. My eyesight is mostly fine. I've seen a Total Eclipse as well.
