I absolutely loved this game, and I feel like in a few years it could be looked at as one of those overlooked masterpieces that never got the respect it deserved. This will totally be one of those stories I have to go back and play through every couple years.
I'm glad you enjoyed this game. I know I wanted more of an RPG out of it and was turned off by the mech combat from the trailers. But I got the game over Christmas and was blown away by how well the story was done. This game deserves the praise.
I’ve bought the ps4 version, the switch version, and both osts that were released (physically and on iTunes). Like I just appreciated this game so much. I could never forget this game.
Wow, your pronunciation is top-notch! Either you practiced a lot or you're just that good, but I am impressed!!! Maybe I've just heard too many people talk about SMT: Strange Journey and pronounce the character Jimenez as "JIM-enez", but you really did a great job and sounded natural. You're such a professional about the details! This game is a tough sell. It's a game that can't really be talked about, so the only thing you can do is ask your audience to trust you that it's good. Unlike other reviewers, you actually explained the combat, which definitely makes your recommendation a lot stronger. I'm now actually interested, which no one else has been able to inspire in me. I like Vanillaware's art, but have found their gameplay lacking in some of their titles. Dragon's Crown was probably the most fun, but certainly didn't bring anything new to the table besides the stunning artwork. This game has been explained the same way. Your explanation makes the game sound a lot more fun. I have played a lot of tower defense games (mostly bored at work), but I still play Plants Vs. Zombies today. Have you played Dragons Crown? ITs their masterpiece. Ive seen some people mad that theres a bare legged big booty woman in the game and apparently some people are offended by femininity on a woman If that was a trans character or a male dressed like a lady like that, those same idiots woulda called it beautiful and it woulda won progressive awards.. Anyways, great game
So genuine question here. Is story worth it? I mean 13 CHARACTERS is a stretch and some will be a drag and I HATE non-linear storytelling. It is a cheap and pretentious way to make a story "complex" when in reality it is BS attempt to sell a mediocre story as something great and often it is FAR more enjoable to watch it in chronological order (ONLY EXCEPTION being Memento) I am curious about it because EVERYONE hyped this game and that is never good
The reason I don't like the game is because it is tower defense. Not really my genre of game. There's just few genres in gaming I don't like and that's one of the few.

The RTS gameplay portions weren’t for me, and the story, while good, was not mind-blowing like I’ve been hearing from others. I was expecting something along the lines of 999 or Virtue’s Last Reward, and in my opinion 13 Sentinels was nowhere near as good.
I will say, I LOVE this game’s art style. Absolutely adore it. This game alone made me want to get a Switch OLED. The characters and backdrops are just gorgeous.
Dug the story. Just wish I had more fun actually playing it. Maybe if the mechs were actually present? I don’t know.
Hi what is this game about?
Yo why is the algorithm straight up hiding you?
The game where it's fans both couldnt shut up about it while saying literally nothing about it
Have you played Dragons Crown? ITs their masterpiece. Ive seen some people mad that theres a bare legged big booty woman in the game and apparently some people are offended by femininity on a woman If that was a trans character or a male dressed like a lady like that, those same idiots woulda called it beautiful and it woulda won progressive awards.. Anyways, great game
I just need to know that H + O are happy.
They are ~♡♡♡♡
@@PelvicGaming My fan art will also confirm this, thank you.
What a strange "different " game.
So genuine question here.
Is story worth it? I mean 13 CHARACTERS is a stretch and some will be a drag and I HATE non-linear storytelling. It is a cheap and pretentious way to make a story "complex" when in reality it is BS attempt to sell a mediocre story as something great and often it is FAR more enjoable to watch it in chronological order (ONLY EXCEPTION being Memento)
I am curious about it because EVERYONE hyped this game and that is never good
The reason I don't like the game is because it is tower defense. Not really my genre of game. There's just few genres in gaming I don't like and that's one of the few.
And that's fair. Not every game is for every one. :)
@@PelvicGaming indeed! I respect your video and interest in the game.
