It definitely is the fact that you don’t know them and aren’t familiar with their faces that seeing them in the same hair color and outfits made you feel they don’t have much individuality but in fact they’re one of the groups with VERY distinctive individuality! Limitless was a Japanese song they did for a opening of an anime, so the style of song and MV is far apart from their usual style! I hope you keep reacting to them and watch the “Ultimate Guide to ATEEZ (2023)” so you can know them better!
Limitless is actually a Japanese song made for a card duelling anime so it's pretty different from their usual stuff and doesn't have any dancing in the MV. Ironically, i would say Ateez is one of the groups who show off their individuality the most! Their stylings on stage and most of their MVs are usually very different, their faces(to me) were super easy to differentiate compared to other groups, The only times they're styled similar is when they are doing a military concept and/or like the fencing concept in Limitless where they wear uniforms. Plus their dance styles are all very different, they dont go for the usual everyone should dance the same so it looks synchronised, they are all amazing dancers and it's really up to personal opinion whose style you're drawn to the most. It's funny because how you were describing your feelings on Stray Kids is exactly how i feel about Ateez, they were the first group I ever checked out and I've checked out other groups since but nothing has come close to them for me, Atiny for life ✌️ I definitely recommend checking out Guerrilla, Fireworks and Answer from Ateez!
I agree!! For me, Ateez is one of those groups where the individuality’s so strong, especially in their choreos where they don’t go for perfect synchronization but they are allowed to have more of their own unique dance styles. I would say they shine the most in live performances! I’ve been a Kpop fan for a decade now and I’ve never seen stronger performers ateez are really great 🤍 And I also up these recommendations ☺️
Right like I've heard stray kids before and I even stopped listening and watching kpop for awhile because all these groups started to sound and look the same. Ateez were the only ones I noticed there was something different about and are actually what got me back into kpop.
@@only4captain Wow! You're just like me. I'm a 2nd gen stan and stopped following new group for long time. ATEEZ brought me back to the circle again 2 years ago. I'm so thankful having them in my life 💖💖
ateez are 8 members, there's hongjoong (big hat), seonghwa (blonde hair), yunho (black with silver highlights), yeosang (deep voice black hair), san (got bonked by the moon), mingi (orange hair), Wooyoung (red hair), and Jongho (brown hair w/ crazy vocals) - they are all such great dancers and known for performance
I use to feel the same way about Stray Kids until I got to know Ateez. Ateez is now and will always be my #1 group for so many reasons. Please do more Ateez. I guarantee you will like them.
Same. No hate. I just connected with Ateez more. Stray kids kept me up at my 4:30 am drive to work. When I found out Ateez music, I just cried and found home. Their discography is WOWWWWW!
Seonghwa (the white haired guy) is truly unfairly gorgeous. I’m only just getting into Ateez myself and it did take me longer to be able to recognize each member compared to skz but once you do get them down they are all very different for sure. They have a very intense stage presence for sure, it’s crazy. Off stage they’re all really kind and sweet people with a large dose of chaos too.
Ateez stand out more than any other kpop group why because there music is different to all other kpop groups there styles and visuals are always on point and on stage they are like demons i hope you do continue to follow them but without the comparing of other groups these guys deserve so much more recognition than they get they are the most hard working never rest group i have ever known
omg yes i’m so excited for you to get into ateez, them and stray kids are also really close friends and participated in kingdom together and collabed during the show :] their discography is flawless in my opinion so you’re gonna have a blast with this group
Ateez are the kings of live performances! Their lore and storyline is like no other! They have the strongest stage presence and individuality in all of 4th gen. I've been into Kpop since 2012 and have never seen a group like them!
Stray kids got me into Kpop but Ateez stole me away with full force. I still like and listen to Stray Kids casually but Ateez have all of me now. Well, I love unique and that's what they are on top of being illegally good. They're just too good it's crazy.
Same and I refused to listened to Ateez . Everyone said they are soooo good. I’m like yea yea yea. When I heard them (didn’t even see their perf yet) ,I dropped skz right away. I just connected with Ateez music more. Utopia, win, I cried my heart out in Mist, take me home, cyberpunk, dune, still here….I can go in forever
as a staytiny I loved this. Now that you are getting into ateez you definitely should react to kingdom performances, it was a reality show where stray kids and ateez made some incredible performances together along with BTOB (another kpop group). I’m telling you I’m still can’t get over those performances, you definitely need to check them out.
Honestly, choosing a Japanese single was not the best option to meet Ateez there are many mvs and songs that show the essence and versatility of Ateez, I will only say that do not get carried away by the first impression, they have no comparison between one era and another as you seem believe
Ateez are very well known as an individualistic group where each brings something to the group. They are one of the most popular kpop groups too. And they come from a VERY small and poor company unlike stray kids, which is why they are talked about less and had a very much less privileged background and start up. They got where they are simply from their talents. They are also known as having diverse and unconventional music, which is why pretty much none of their songs sound the same. They try different things everytime. They also have probably the most intricate lore in all of kpop, so you might not understand everything. They are also known as one of the best performance groups, and one of the best rap lines and vocal lines. They are also amazing dancers and are often mistaken as a dance crew because they're so good. And that's what sets them apart. Halazia is very lore heavy and focused less on the members which is why none probably stood out to you that much. And limitless also probably wasn't a good start either for you because it's very hard to pick who is who when they are wearing the same outfits, have the same hair color/style, and the setting colors are all the same. This was done purposely, and it would be hard for ANY new watcher to pick members out if you don't know them. Limitless is actually an OST for a popular anime in Japan and isnt there usual style. I would recommend something like fireworks, Hala Hala, guerrilla, don't stop. I would also recommend watching some performances because Ateez is the best 4th gen performance group. They also have the best 4th gen vocalist and one of the best in the industry. If you wanna watch any guides I recommend the ultimate guide to Ateez 2023. It's super long but really detailed and interesting and I'd the best guide I've seen. Hope you check more out.
To really appreciate ateez, you need to see their live stages because their stage presence is crazy. I strongly recommend watching their kingdom stages (esp wonderland and their recreation of rhythm ta)
You should totally check out ‘Say my Name’ and ‘Hala Hala’ as their iconic comeback titles, it was more earlier in their career and was way before their time! (Second comeback after debut to be specific 😂😂) And it’s true, their gazes are dangerous indeed 😭😭✨✨ If you’re curious to know more about them, you can check out a lighthearted guide to them in your own time or react to it! Their comeback was announced this week and its on 16 June! You can look forward to that 🫶✨
Yeah , so ateez's individuality is very very evident in their performances more than their mvs ,and its also bc you're quite new to ateez so its hard to differentiate ig ,but looking forward to see u react to them more!!!
Ateez are great. They are my second fave boy group. (SKZ being first) And it's understandable to be confused with who is who when you have only seen two songs. The white haired one in Halazia was Seonghwa. He was the one you compared to Hyunjin in Limitless. The one with the red hair was Wooyoung. The first rapper was Honjoong, and he's the Capetian. (Leader, but he never wants to be called that. So Hongjoong is the Captain of his pirate crew.) The second rapper is Mingi. He & Hongjoong are the producers of Ateez. Yeosang was the one with the deep voice & the chains in Halazia, and the one you paused on about his arms. San is the one who had the ball dropped on him, and the other one you complimented about his muscles. Yunho is the one with two coloured hair that was in what looked like a destroyed hourglass in Halazia. Jongho is the one with the very powerful voice who hit most of the high notes. Also the youngest. As someone has said, Ateez & SKZ are friends. Even though they come from different companies (And KQ is a very small company. Ateez & Xikers are the only two groups from there that I know of.) the two are friends because Wooyoung & Changbin are friends. During the Kingdom Legendary War, they actually got to team up with BTOB. The three groups formed a group called Mayfly. And let me tell you. They SWEPT the competition as a major group. The part that makes almost everyone's jaw drops is the vocal group of three's song. The dance was spectacular. The rap was incredibly good, and entertaining. But the vocals.....Those blew everyone away. Enkwang (BTOB), Seungmin (SKZ), and Jongho (Ateez) sang their hearts out. And it makes everyone's jaw drop & played with our emotions. I will suggest that you watch Kingdom Legendary War on Patreon. It will most likely get blocked on RUclips without HEAVY editing. If you decide to look into Ateez more, I would suggest you start at the beginning. Like SKZ their lyrics have deeper meaning. And they have a VERY intricate story line that hasn't even been fully explored yet. And a detailed guide is great to look into as well. I highly recommend listening to more Ateez.
Ateez was the second kpop group I discovered afterI initially got into SKZ. They are AMAZING!!! Do check out stuff like Guerilla and The Real for their more upbeat songs and Turbulence for their more vocal side (their vocals are really no joke!). Also, yes, they tend to be more intense performers and I really love that about them. I really hope you dive deeper into ATEEZ. You'll love them! I'm sure you have already seen this, but they're besties with SKZ and have performances together with SKZ (and BTOB- The collaboration I never knew I needed) and so it will be better to watch the whole of Kingdom! Have fun!!!
Limitless was just a quick MV for the song they made for the Japanese audience. If u wanna see the real comebacks look for GUERRILLA, Wonderland, The Real, etc
btw, ateez is coming back with a new album in the 16th of june, today the trailer came out and it honestly looks like a film! edit: also, all the kpop groups pretty much differentiates their members A LOT let it be heir or outfits or makeup, not only skz, you unfortunately happens to choose the videos where they all basically have black hair and dark clothing, i think the fact that you can’t really differentiate them because they’re new faces.
I recommend to watch Kingdom (performance battle program in 2021). I’m aware that you said about wanting to watch ‘Kingdom performances’, but I recommend to watch the full show, as it’s so interesting to see the preparation behind the scenes. Stray Kids, ATEEZ, and all the other groups did so well, and it was so nice to see the bond between the groups.
I got soo happy seeing this title 😂😂 Wooyoung (the one with the red hair) is best friends with Changbin and called themselves lovely and dovely during a competition show that both groups were in.
All of the Ateez members have very very sharp feautures so i understand that it can be confusing at first. They are extremely unique looking group compared to other kpop groups tho. Also no other kpop group has "demon line" lmaoo Check out "Wonderland" and "The real" next
Ateez have an impeccable discography in a very varied style, basically no two title tracks are in the same genre, you'll never know what to expect next once you start exploring them. Their visuals really are something else, it's like someone took a bunch of different anime/game archetypes and made them real :) They're the most famous for their live performances and very intense stage presence (sometimes cool, sometimes scary, sometimes fun) and you'll see that their philosophy is to allow every member to explore their personal style (San and Seonghwa are super theatrical, Yunho very clean and technical, Mingi groovy and powerful etc).
I'm so happy you decided to check out Ateez as they are my #1 ultimate all-time favorite group (although I do also love Stray Kids). I would highly recommend checking out a guide to learn more about the members and their personalities (the channel allthekennys has an excellent one, but it is a little long). As you watch more music videos you'll see their individuality more, but where Ateez really shines is in live performances! 💖
ATEEZ stands for A to Z or A TEEnager Z. Their storyline includes two universes. In universe A, ATEEZ are a modern take on pirates (treasure seekers). In universe Z, their alter-egos, the Halateez, are fighting against their corrupt government in a dystopian world. They do a good job of writing their lyrics to fit the story while still making them applicable to every day life. If you want a better chance at understanding the story, it's best to start at the beginning with their debut songs Pirate King and Treasure. ATEEZ's Japanese songs tend to be less hard hitting and are more likely to be outside the story, as is the case with Limitless, since it's part of the sound track for Duel Masters. We don't often see them with the same color hair and fits, so it'll be easier to see their differences in other MVs. Most of the time their stylists' stage outfit choices are strongly influenced by the members personal styles. For example, Seonghwa (white hair in the 1st MV and compared to Hyunjin in the 2nd) has described his personal style as rock chic, Wooyoung (red hair) likes looser casual wear, and Jongho (high note king) likes to dress more formally--he loves suits and almost always has his shirts buttoned to the top, even on stage. One fun thing about them is that they all have different strengths in dance (e.g. Yunho is precise, San is powerful, Mingi has a lot of swag), so it's fun to watch their fan cams and see their interpretations of the choreo. The best shorter guide is A Lighthearted Guide to ATEEZ 2023 while the best detailed guide is The Ultimate Guide to ATEEZ 2023. Thanks for reacting to ATEEZ!
So glad you decided to check out Ateez! SKZ will always be my ultimate & #1 K-pop group, they were my gateway to discovering the excellence of the Korean music scene. Ateez really shine when it comes to their dance & vocal performances. The lore that they have created for themselves is super impressive and I can appreciate how it endears me to them. I listen to their music and participate in their comebacks…but I’m not obsessively consuming all their content the way I do SKZ. I really like Guerilla, Firework, Deja Vu, and Answer from them.
ateez are truly amazing, thank you for checking them out! For more than two years BTS was my number one group and i never thought that someone could even come close to them, but then ateez came in and in less than a month truly stole my attention and now they’re my favorite! I think you may say they all look alike and don’t have individuality because in these video they had the same hair colors and especially in limitless, since they’re in a gym, they can’t really wear anything that extravagant 😅. I think ateez are one of the most unique groups out there, since they’re also one of the few if not the only performance group in kpop right now. don’t get me wrong all the groups do a great job at singing and dancing on stage but ateez has been known since their debut for their stage presence, to the point where they have a ‘demon line’ where the members of that line are the ones that look almost possessed or a whole different person on stage. they can really put on a performance and get into character whether it is a look of desperation and sorrow or a silly look they can do it all. I hope this first impression won’t stop you from getting more into them, and, i suggest you watch some of their live performances!! (sorry for the long comment 🫶🏻)
Not surprised that Ateez pops up as a recommendation in Stray Kids reactions...that's how I found these boys actually since some Atinys (Ateez fans) used to leave random funny comments in SKZ videos (and interacting hilariously with Stays in general). It's actually common to be both a Stay and an Atiny at the same time (like myself) and the fandoms were once besties much like how Changbin and Wooyoung (Ateez member) are besties in real life! It's gotten toxic now as both groups are getting bigger, but nontoxic Stay-Atiny hybrid fans are obviously still around recommending both groups to new fans and basking in Stray Kids x Ateez interactions! 🥰🥰🥰 Oh btw, both groups have been getting close since Kingdom that some Ateez members have adopted Felix.
yess for ateez! my ult group of all time, they literally surpassed bts & became my favorite of all time last year!! they make me feel so confident with how they aren't afraid to try new sounds with their music! plus they have the craziest choreographies I have ever seen in the industry, I swear. idk how they do it! subbing for more!
thank you so much for reacting to Ateez! They are VERY theatrical about everything they do, performances and MV, if you are into that (I SO much am!) you will enjoy them! I'm sure the comment section is full of storyline refences but don't be intimidate by it, you don't have to be caught up with the lore to enjoy them! It was two pretty niche songs to start with, something like Guerrilla would have been a clearer look into them generally! so I hope you continue to check them out! Also Kingdom legendary war survival show (where Ateez and Stray kids both participate) is kind of perfect for Patreon reactions, if you ever start that one, please let us know!!
It took me longer to get into Ateez unlike Stray Kids however I’m glad I kept listening to them & got to know them better. They are close to Stray Kids and are very humble, sweet guys. SKZ will always be my #1 but Ateez is a close second. I saw Stray Kids in Dallas back in March (mind-blowing how good they are live) and now I really want to see Ateez live. ❤
Thanks for reacting to Ateez! They are in fact very heavy on individualism and performance, quite literally the whole package with vocals, dance & performance (ofc visual too), some Ateez songs I recc: Say My Name Pirate King / Treasure Turbulence Thanxx Guerrilla Inception Wave HALA HALA But if you want to go by the mv release/lore order to understand the storyline better that's also highly recc!
I love how you described seonghwa as pretty in a dangerous way. He is part of the demon line of Ateez. Insane duality and an insanely beautiful face. The other guy with the jacked arms is yeosang.
Jongho best vocal in 4 generation They are one of the best dance and performer group in k pop ateez’s live performances and dance practices insane they are so good Ateez and stray kids very good frend
No one will ever take the #1 spot from StrayKids for me but if anyone could come close it'd be ATEEZ. They are incredible and are my #2 fave group. They are also really close friends with StrayKids. In fact, Changbin and Wooyoung (red hair in Halazia) have been best friends since predebut and I've even heard they've been besties since childhood but I'm not sure. The others became extremely close during Kingdom and have remained close. I can't wait for you to watch Kingdom after you finish SKZ survival show. SKZ and ATEEZ have some mind blowing performances on there and their interactions with eachother are hilarious and beautiful.
I hope you are encouraged to know them better, Ateez are in my opinion a unique group that has a great vocal talent, rap and dance their songs are great I recommend pirate king is their debut song and is one of my favorites, also Hala Hala, fireworks, wonderland or say my name
and it is okay to say that stray kids are your favourites and up there for you even if you check out other groups too, for me ateez are number 1 and the stray kids very close 2nd and the other groups. and also once you get to know them better you will be able to tell them apart better so dont worry about that
Yesss!! They are my favorite group alongside stray kids, and those groups are also besties, I discovered stray kids by being an ateez fan (known as atinys)!!! I’m so excited for you discover more about them, they have a expansive and diverse discography, and it’s known to be super cinematic and crazy performative. Their songs range from crazy anime or movie soundtracks, rock, soft ballads, absolute edm bangers, and chill summer pop songs, and it’s a plus that rappers Mingi and Hongjoong take part in writing in all of their songs and producing a large sum of it too! I went to their concert and it felt like watching a Musical or a some kind of grand play- thank you for this reaction❤❤
Yesssss, I like your SKZ reactions, so I'm super excited for you to discover Ateez - who are in fact my ult kpop group of all time! You're gonna love them!!!
Thank you very much for reacting to ATEEZ, although, I am not sure why you did since there is no room for any other talent in your heart, none the less I am glad you let ATEEZ shine on you for a moment. No Hate just Love. TALENT+SKILL = ATEEZ
I get it because u checked out the other groups before ateez I don't like comparisons though because I ult ateez I understand not everyone gets them because they aren't the biggest group out there in terms of numbers or label but their talent is so unique it makes me sad when I see comparisons but I understand you're just going based off what you know. I think it's worth it to learn about them invidually they are all amazing as well I was confused what you were trying to explain 😅 I hope you can learn more about them .
Ateez and Stray Kids are both my ult groups so i'm happy you're starting to react to them too :) I saw them live in February and they are absolutely amazing!!
Ateez and SKZ are my two favorite Korean boy bands, and I love each of them for a totally different reason. You're already well acquainted with SKZ and their strengths, but here's what I love about Ateez specifically: - Their dance line. No joke I think they have the best dance line in gen 4. They are all absolutely insanely good, not a single weak link. And it's not just about raw skill, it's about artistry - their choreography is so powerful, expressive and unique. - Their vocals. Again, not a single weak link, although they don't get an equal amount of lines so it's easy to overlook a couple of them. - Finally, their concepts. They don't just go for elaborate, intense concepts (as you saw in Halazia), but they absolutely crush those concepts. You say "they look like final fantasy characters." Yes they do. That is exactly the vibe they're going for. They actually have a full-on story that links all of their content. If you want more in the same vibe as Halazia, check out their other two most recent comebacks, Deja Vu (San - the guy who you said was "undressing the camera with his eyes - will absolutely wreck you in that video) and Guerilla. Their upcoming comeback next month looks to be in the same vein, with a similar sci-fi theme, and it's a sequel to Guerilla and Halazia. Basically, these boys are awesome and you will not regret getting to know them better.
Honestly with getting into stray kids and then ATEEZ I learnt to tell the ATEEZ members apart visually in less time than stray kids. It took me 6 weeks to be confident telling the stray kids members apart and only 2 weeks to become confident telling the ATEEZ members apart. So I would say if you think stray kids are all very different to each other than ATEEZ definitely are as well. But in limitless they all have the same hair colour and similar outfits which doesn’t help at all. Normally they are all very different.
I would recommend you to continue the journey of Ateez. I started on KPop due to SKZ but as soon I got into this group, I became a total fan. A guide will be great before getting into more MV, but check also their performance/dance practices, they all shine there.
Please react to deja vu, guerrilla, inception or fireworks . The thing about Ateez, they are pretty different from Stray Kids as a group so whoever told you they are similar was wrong. They are pretty good friends but I would say Ateez is much more heavy weight and I acknowledge maybe their music is not in everyone AT FIRST but after you listen to a couple songs you will totally develop a taste for their music!! They really are different from any kpop group and in my opinion they are the best performers in kpop. Watch some live performances too, you won’t regret it. And regarding the individuality part, once you develop the taste i told you about, you realize how EVERY SINGLE one of them brings something different to the table… i started with stray kids at first but then after a few weeks quickly discovered ateez and they pulled me in completely. They are true artists (not saying stray kids aren’t) but the way Ateez carry themselves on stage and throughout the songs it’s absolutely insane never seen in anywhere in kpop. You have to check out more stuff because imo limitless isn’t the type of song to get introduced into ateez. The live performances of ateez are superior no ONE can out-do them
I am just glad you were honest.. your reaction is cool and state whatever on your mind. Ateez are my fav so I was happy you reacting to them.. I wonder just which one of their song will shock you because there are a lot of that kind..😅
The comment about them not being easily identifiable from one another has me absolutely BAFFLED because they're SO different looking to me. I've been deep into kpop since 2015 and this is the group I learned the fastest by FAR (Stray Kids was probably the 2nd fastest I learned)
Really cool you decided to check out Ateez! I like them and enjoy their music but I don't fully know all the members very well. I think I can name 6/8 members currently and I don't know their personality, but I do know they're close with Stray Kids. Wooyoung (red hair) is my bias wrecker and San (one who was unnecessarily looking at you in the camera) is my bias. They're all very talented and you're reacting to them at a good time because they have a comeback on the 16th of June.
Also ateez does have a more mature vibe overall. More than stray kids. It has to do with their concept as well. Ateez’s music is less lighthearted and more heavy weight.
Ateez is actually having a comeback on the 16th of june maybe you wanna check it out 👀 the trailer for it just dropped u would prob rlly like it . Also another group i would rlly recommend is Seventeen
The pronounciation is like 1980s i.e. ATEEZ = 80s. Interesting you noticed the "dance beat" influence: ATEEZ started out as a dance group called KQ Fellas before they became an idol group. They all have very distinctive and wonderful voices but their dancing is next level as a result of their start as dancers. I highly recommend their ATEEZ dance practices as well as their KQ Fellas vids (and while I'm thinking about dance practices, do check out the STRAY KIDS ones - so good!). HALAZIA as a live performance is amazing. This is one of my favourite songs of 2023 - you notice something different every time you listen to it. Completely fair enough that STRAY KIDS are your ults, but do give ATEEZ a chance too as I think you'll like them too - they are really talented and honestly funny, genuine and kind human beings. At KCON in LA last year STRAY KIDS were asked who they'd like to collaborate with and Chan's answer was ATEEZ. Once you get to know ATEEZ a little better you'll start to understand why.
Thank you so much for reacting to ateez! It is pronounced like “ay-tease” or 80’s so you got it right! If you’d like to continue reacting to them I would recommend their songs: Guerilla, Hala Hala(which is a song that has strong ties to Halazia), Say My Name and their debut track Pirate King. A guide that I highly recommend is allthekennys Ultimate Guide to Ateez 2023.
Ah, you’ve found ATEEZ. They were my next group to delve into after SKZ. They don’t sound the same but there are definitely some similarities in their sound. I don’t really feel inspired to delve deeply into their pirate lore but it does inspire their cinematic MVs.
Stray kids was the second Kpop group I ever got into and I have been a fan for a few years now I love them so much… but when I first got into Ateez towards the end of 2021 they immediately became on of my top groups they r so special to me so I was happy to see you checking them out! They r incredibly hard working and talented!! So I hope to see more of them on the channel sometime!! Anyways thank you for your reactions to both groups I always enjoy them! :)))
in limitless they all have black hair and are dressed very similarly/in uniforms so its understandable you think that way 😭 they have more individual-looking characters in their storyline related comebacks please react to more ateez especially since they have a comeback next month!
Ateez is such a talented group and one of my favourite in kpop. Limitless is a japanese release and it's pretty different from their other videos. They do use this kind of military suits in several of their videos though but it's just part of their aesthetic. The red hair guy is Wooyoung, the white hair guy is Seonghwa but he was not the first one who rapped with the fury hat, it was Hongjoong (the leader of the group). The buff guy who is "undressing the camera" in Limitless is San. He is the one with the grey sweater in Halazia. The one singing in the broken hour glass is Yunho, the deep voice rapper is Mingi (with orange hair), the deep voice singer is Yeosang and the all black short hair guy hitting crazy notes is Jongho. For next time I suggest Wonderland, Hala Hala and Guerrilla.
You're wrong as far as Ateez's individually. They are normally as diverse in their style as SKZ. They are also very good friends with SKZ. So you need to see more of Ateez before you pass those kinds of opinions.
He qualified almost every statement he said with phrases like "so far" and "it seems like." They do look very uniform in Limitless, so it was reasonable based on what he's seen.
True. I'm not bashing him. In fact, I'm happy that he's branching out. I got into K-pop in 2019, and I started with Got7, so I applaud anyone who is getting into it now. Also, Limitless was done, so they all looked similar on purpose. Normally, Ateez has at least 3 members with different hair colors at any given time. HongJoong once stated in an interview that if any member wanted a different hair color, someone else also had to have a new one as well. I hope anyone branching out into K-pop will look at multiple groups as well.
Exactly. He's a little too focused on the looks too when of course it would be hard when the MV is super fast moving and every one is wearing the same thing with the same hair style 😭
Straykids my first attraction in kpop 😊 felix bias and by them I found ateez due to their friendship in kingdom show but I really didn't think that time I can involve in this dark side tensed type group ateez😢 but now I'm fully involved 😈😁😅due to stages and demon line😇.
Thanks for reacting to Ateez :) They are an 8 member group under KQ Entertainment. They debuted on October 24, 2018 with double title track "Pirate King" and "Treasure". The fandom is called Atiny (Ateez+destiny). They are very versatile so in their discography you'll find many genres, styles and concepts. They are well known for their stage presence and passionate performances mostly singing live. Recommendations: Guerrilla, Take me home, Hala-Hala and for a nice ballad Be with you. :) PD: suscribing in hopes of seeing more Ateez in the channel !
HI! First of all props for being loyal to stray kids, but I assure you, you will definitely not regret deep diving into Ateez! (pronounced : Ay-teez so you were right) Not to be biased but I think Ateez undoubtedly is one of the groups in the kpop industry with the most distinct individuality be it rapping styles, singing styles, dancing styles and their presence as well... which is obviously kind of hard to pick up on , on the very first listen so it's understandable. But Their individualities does not shine the most in their music videos per say because they focus on the cinematography as you said , and conveying their music and their extensive storyline. Where you'll see their individuality the most is where it counts : dance practices and live stages. If there's any group who are IMMACULATE when they are live? It's ATEEZ. Also as you will see in the future if you check out more ateez, they really focus on being a group and showing their artistry for what it is. in HALA HALA mv they legit have the same exact outfit and they obscured their faces with masks to portray that they want you to see their performance and hear their music and not look at their faces, around 2 months after debut which is when people look at the members of rookie groups to familiarize with them. But during HALA HALA's stage performances? their facial expressions shone so much that industry seniors have said that they will raise the standards of kpop performances and they haven't stopped since then. ATEEZ's strongest suit is stage presence, facial expressions and live performances along with their versatile discography and their cinematic universe. They don't only have individuality as members , they have individuality as a whole group when they bring their detail oriented lore driven performances with easter eggs and symbolisms be it in the mvs or live stages, their performances are never the same and never boring. They even put their own twists in covers of other songs to make it their own sound. So I hope you'd give then a chance and find out more about them!! And for guide recommendation : ruclips.net/video/QtX3y9JZhBA/видео.html&pp=ygUXdWx0aW1hdGUgZ3VpZGUgdG8gYXRlZXo%3D "Ultimate guide to ateez" by ofallthekennys THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO ATEEZ!!
Thank you for checking ATEEZ :D they are really good. Limitless song is a bit different what they do becaus is a japanesse release for an opening for an anime, but is still good. I should recommend to watch Guerrilla, Say my name, Hala hala, Wave, Utopia and of course debut song Pirate King....every song is a banger :D Note as they are from a small company, at the beginning doesn't have too much budget for visual MVs so they shoot in public spaces, but quality of music are always great!
When you get to see more of them you'll see how different each member is from each other, there's not one that's like the other but they get along so well. And you'll also see how different they from other Kpop groups. They are phenomenal
I am glad you chose ATEEZ :) as someone who was into bts myself, the moment i discovered our teezers it was over for any other group haha. Their discography is insanely good and so freaking diverse and still people are sleeping on them. No other group does concept, lore and promotions like them I swear. They truly make it feel like we are part of something bigger than 'just' stanning a group ❤️🔥
When i listened to it the first time, my first thoughts were "This would make a really good song for an anime". Turns out I'm right 😅
@@tamaravanhees1749 yeah! XD it was an opening for Duel Masters Win
yess i’d love a reaction to the guide!!
Limitless is actually a Japanese song made for a card duelling anime so it's pretty different from their usual stuff and doesn't have any dancing in the MV.
Ironically, i would say Ateez is one of the groups who show off their individuality the most!
Their stylings on stage and most of their MVs are usually very different, their faces(to me) were super easy to differentiate compared to other groups,
The only times they're styled similar is when they are doing a military concept and/or like the fencing concept in Limitless where they wear uniforms.
Plus their dance styles are all very different, they dont go for the usual everyone should dance the same so it looks synchronised, they are all amazing dancers and it's really up to personal opinion whose style you're drawn to the most.
It's funny because how you were describing your feelings on Stray Kids is exactly how i feel about Ateez, they were the first group I ever checked out and I've checked out other groups since but nothing has come close to them for me, Atiny for life ✌️
I definitely recommend checking out Guerrilla, Fireworks and Answer from Ateez!
I'm so thankful having them in my life 💖💖
Atiny for life!!!!❤ Ateez are the only ones for me. Other groups are good but Ateez stole my heart, so no one comes close.
I love your comment ❤️
ateez are 8 members, there's hongjoong (big hat), seonghwa (blonde hair), yunho (black with silver highlights), yeosang (deep voice black hair), san (got bonked by the moon), mingi (orange hair), Wooyoung (red hair), and Jongho (brown hair w/ crazy vocals) - they are all such great dancers and known for performance
GOT BONKED BY THE MOON IM CRYING-
NOT SAN GETTING BONKED BY THE MOON 💀😭
My poor mountain Man got bonked by the moon oh no~
Boinked By The Moon is going to be the next comeback track.
*white hair
I use to feel the same way about Stray Kids until I got to know Ateez. Ateez is now and will always be my #1 group for so many reasons. Please do more Ateez. I guarantee you will like them.
Same
Same. No hate. I just connected with Ateez more. Stray kids kept me up at my 4:30 am drive to work. When I found out Ateez music, I just cried and found home. Their discography is WOWWWWW!
Haha besides that SKZ & ATEEZ are( Best-) Friends anyway.
Did you know Seonghwa used to think he was unattractive? Can you believe that?!
@@Seriphina I did know that and it makes me sad. I’m glad he’s become more comfortable with his looks over the years though!
Ateez are my ult 4th gen group. They fucking smash everything they do! I hope they capture your heart as much as they have with this fellow Aussie :)
They're just too good it's crazy.
me too i like Stray kids before but ATEEZ stole my heart.ATEEZ discography is top tier"no skip".
Me too 😂
Same and I refused to listened to Ateez .
@@katp.4817 I know that feeling. Ateez are truly something else.
@@Fanfan73 😅
as a staytiny I loved this. Now that you are getting into ateez you definitely should react to kingdom performances, it was a reality show where stray kids and ateez made some incredible performances together along with BTOB (another kpop group). I’m telling you I’m still can’t get over those performances, you definitely need to check them out.
Yes! he should definitely react to those 👏🏼
Honestly, choosing a Japanese single was not the best option to meet Ateez there are many mvs and songs that show the essence and versatility of Ateez, I will only say that do not get carried away by the first impression, they have no comparison between one era and another as you seem believe
If you cannot differantiate 8 brunettes in similiar costumes it does not mean that they are the same person. You just do knot know them enough
Which he acknowledged.
@@flaggov6949 thank you for information
I love Ateez! and yeah you'd certainly have to watch more of them to really get into the group, but you won't regret it. They're really awesome too
To really appreciate ateez, you need to see their live stages because their stage presence is crazy. I strongly recommend watching their kingdom stages (esp wonderland and their recreation of rhythm ta)
You should totally check out ‘Say my Name’ and ‘Hala Hala’ as their iconic comeback titles, it was more earlier in their career and was way before their time! (Second comeback after debut to be specific 😂😂)
And it’s true, their gazes are dangerous indeed 😭😭✨✨
If you’re curious to know more about them, you can check out a lighthearted guide to them in your own time or react to it! Their comeback was announced this week and its on 16 June! You can look forward to that 🫶✨
Ateez is number one for me and i hope u get into more ateez
More Ateez MVs:
Hala Hala
Déjà vu
Wonderland
Inception
I'm the one(fireworks)
I got soo happy seeing this title 😂😂
Wooyoung (the one with the red hair) is best friends with Changbin and called themselves lovely and dovely during a competition show that both groups were in.
ATEEZ IS OTHER NEVEL ❤️ THEY ARE KINGS OF PERFORMANCE. 🔥
All of the Ateez members have very very sharp feautures so i understand that it can be confusing at first. They are extremely unique looking group compared to other kpop groups tho. Also no other kpop group has "demon line" lmaoo
Check out "Wonderland" and "The real" next
Ateez have an impeccable discography in a very varied style, basically no two title tracks are in the same genre, you'll never know what to expect next once you start exploring them.
Their visuals really are something else, it's like someone took a bunch of different anime/game archetypes and made them real :)
They're the most famous for their live performances and very intense stage presence (sometimes cool, sometimes scary, sometimes fun) and you'll see that their philosophy is to allow every member to explore their personal style (San and Seonghwa are super theatrical, Yunho very clean and technical, Mingi groovy and powerful etc).
Haaaaaaa omggg I recently wanted to get into Ateez as well this would be fun getting to know them together!!
Yesss! I love that you reacted to them. First stray kids now this! My staytiny heart is shining!
It's an anime OST. They def have their individuality......trust me!!!! They look similar intentionally for this Japanese release.
Most of the toxicity is on Twitter. For the most part, RUclips is a more sane place.
@@flaggov6949yeah agree. I'm glad I don't use that app 😂😂😂
yess for ateez! my ult group of all time, they literally surpassed bts & became my favorite of all time last year!!
they make me feel so confident with how they aren't afraid to try new sounds with their music! plus they have the craziest choreographies I have ever seen in the industry, I swear. idk how they do it!
subbing for more!
9:11 When you say that Seonghwa is pretty but in a dangerous way, that’s probably the best description of him ever.
thank you so much for reacting to Ateez!
They are in fact very heavy on individualism and performance, quite literally the whole package with vocals, dance & performance (ofc visual too), some Ateez songs I recc:
Say My Name
Pirate King / Treasure
Turbulence
Thanxx
Guerrilla
Inception
Wave
HALA HALA
But if you want to go by the mv release/lore order to understand the storyline better that's also highly recc!
I love how you described seonghwa as pretty in a dangerous way. He is part of the demon line of Ateez. Insane duality and an insanely beautiful face. The other guy with the jacked arms is yeosang.
Jongho best vocal in 4 generation
They are one of the best dance and performer group in k pop ateez’s live performances and dance practices insane they are so good
Ateez and stray kids very good frend
Yessir Ateez, I recommend listening to Wonderland and Answer.
Ateez es el mejor grupo que puede existir su discografia es unica y hermosa no hay tema malo
Yaaaaay finally now it's Ateez time
I feel the same way for Ateez that you feel for straykids so I understand, hope you check them out some more!
I hope you are encouraged to know them better, Ateez are in my opinion a unique group that has a great vocal talent, rap and dance their songs are great I recommend pirate king is their debut song and is one of my favorites, also Hala Hala, fireworks, wonderland or say my name
ateez is pronounced the way you said it the second time😊 and thank you for reacting to ateez, i hope you continue reacting to them!
and it is okay to say that stray kids are your favourites and up there for you even if you check out other groups too, for me ateez are number 1 and the stray kids very close 2nd and the other groups. and also once you get to know them better you will be able to tell them apart better so dont worry about that
I'm a stay too!! but i love ateez song so much. You have to listen to these song
- HALA HALA
- Wave
- Wonderland
- Guerrilla
Especially Wonderland you have to listen Recommend!!!
ATEEZ -HALA HALA
ATEEZ -SAY MANE
ATEEZ -ANSWER
ATEEZ -WONDERLAND
Ateez and Stray Kids are both my ult groups so i'm happy you're starting to react to them too :)
I saw them live in February and they are absolutely amazing!!
I would definitely recommend watching more of them if you would like. They are VERY unique and talented
Ateez and SKZ are my two favorite Korean boy bands, and I love each of them for a totally different reason. You're already well acquainted with SKZ and their strengths, but here's what I love about Ateez specifically:
- Their dance line.
My favourite Ateez songs are Fireworks and The Real
Also another group i would rlly recommend is Seventeen
ateez released the trailer of their new song it's super good and different definietly watch it now
The pronounciation is like 1980s i.e.
HALAZIA: wasn’t focused on their faces
Limitless: all the members had black hair and the same style
We need more ateez
Ateez are kings💜
in limitless they all have black hair and are dressed very similarly/in uniforms so its understandable you think that way 😭 they have more individual-looking characters in their storyline related comebacks
please react to more ateez especially since they have a comeback next month!
Exactly. He's a little too focused on the looks too when of course it would be hard when the MV is super fast moving and every one is wearing the same thing with the same hair style 😭
im here for the ateez content :) ill watch any reaction of them u make bc i love to see the journey of the making of a new atiny haha
Halla Halla and Say My Name are amazing!
ateez released the trailer of their new song it's super good and different watch it now
Ateez COMEBACK ON 16.6.2023 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
PD: suscribing in hopes of seeing more Ateez in the channel !
HI! First of all props for being loyal to stray kids, but I assure you, you will definitely not regret deep diving into Ateez! (pronounced : Ay-teez so you were right)
Not to be biased but I think Ateez undoubtedly is one of the groups in the kpop industry with the most distinct individuality be it rapping styles, singing styles, dancing styles and their presence as well... which is obviously kind of hard to pick up on , on the very first listen so it's understandable.
And for guide recommendation : ruclips.net/video/QtX3y9JZhBA/видео.html&pp=ygUXdWx0aW1hdGUgZ3VpZGUgdG8gYXRlZXo%3D
"Ultimate guide to ateez" by ofallthekennys
THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO ATEEZ!!
Ateez music really giving a anime vibe on it
omg first stray kids, now ateez?! im so excited for you to get to know them!!!
Our park seonghwa is always pretty in the dangerous way😂❤❤
Thx for checking out Ateez, too.. this is my 2nd favourite group out there. They are so amazing.
Thank you for checking ATEEZ :D they are really good. Limitless song is a bit different what they do becaus is a japanesse release for an opening for an anime, but is still good. I should recommend to watch Guerrilla, Say my name, Hala hala, Wave, Utopia and of course debut song Pirate King....every song is a banger :D
Note as they are from a small company, at the beginning doesn't have too much budget for visual MVs so they shoot in public spaces, but quality of music are always great!
YESS LETS LEARN ABOUT ATEEZ TOGETHER
I can recommend their song Guerilla!
Mate, please go back to their debut MV “Pirate King” …… all of their MV’s are connected
we need more ATEEEZzz pleASEE
When you get to see more of them you'll see how different each member is from each other, there's not one that's like the other but they get along so well. And you'll also see how different they from other Kpop groups. They are phenomenal
once you get to know ateez i recommend the wolf performance from kingdom with ateez and skz & also btob
