I discovered fresco since 2020 after I purchased my iPad. I've learnt so much by playing around with it. With this video lesson it's more like a recap thank you Kyle I did learn new technique as well here. I’m looking forward to learn more advance stuff. Sadly I missed the live due to time difference. Thank you from Malaysia.
omg i had fresco all this time and was not aware of many of the features, and Kyle's excellent persona and presentation skills has helped me so much and i have made me fall in love with the app!!! can we please have more and more of these maybe tutorials as it is so uesful!!!
I have a question. is there or will there be a way to import in an image like a bicycle and change parts of the bike frame to be a Pattern Import like floral, check, etc... or would that be Photoshop. I am wanting to add/change patterns to different images/elements. Like a Red rose..add a pattern to different petals keep some red and have some a pattern.....Drawing a pattern on top of the image seems like A lot of work when I would rather import the patterns in. Thank You from Alabama and Great Tutorial it helped alot.
What laptops is Fresco available on? Looking to buy a Macbook Air but I want to be able to paint/draw on a touch screen. Don't want to buy and then find out it's not compatible. In the UK. Thanks!
Is there any info for how to open fresco motion layers in photoshop so you can continue animating in photoshop? I was able to import the fresco file but have to use the plug-in anim dessin to create a timeline that the drawings can go into but when the frames are imported the timing is all screwed up and I need to manually re-time each frame. Am I missing something or is the Fresco Motion/animation not really able to be easily imported into PS and begun work seamlessly?
There is this Infinity Painter fill in brush, basically you create any shape and whatever shape you create gets fill in immediately, You can add texture to the fill in brush and of course change the color and opacity. Is there anything like this in Fresco? Some people have suggested using the lazzo tool, but it is very daunting going back and forward filling in every shape with the bucket tool.
Wow I did not know about holding the touch modifier to turn the current pixel brush to an eraser…I just thought the only brushes I could use for the eraser were the defaults in the eraser panel. Nice tip!
@@kyletwebster also- it would be great to use the pen tool in fresco….for creating vectors with the ability to modify or edit the anchor points…I know that’s more of the illustrator thing…but it would be a game changer! I use illustrator on the desktop all the time…but being able to use fresco on the iPad with more vector capabilities would just be out of this world. We would be able to make more precise artwork…i want to be able to do raster painting for some designs- the main focal point of the design- but want to use more vector abilities to create/design backgrounds and other elements of the design. Or at least just let me send the fresco file to illustrator on the iPad! Even if you just make this ability an option for full plan creative cloud members…if you do this I will make a ton of videos and get you a thousand subscribers ;) just help me help you!
Great video... i recently picked up an ipad pro and have been an Adobe user for over 20 years now... Procreate was really great until it came to animation... Fresco is far superior it seems but it currently doesn't allow video layer uploads or even a PNG sequence... Will this feature be added?
"take care of yourself, take care of each other"...sounds sooo familiar, do I hear some Simon Sinek in there? 🤩 very useful tutorial for a beginner. thanks!
Thank you for rekindling my interest in Fresco, awesome progress and lots of fun to follow you. With live watercolor, can we have hold, start, stop, continue, dry and direction of water flow. Also heavy fresh or new water pushes against older partially dry water creating blooms. I don't know how to say this the way you would, but it's at the core of working with pigments, (not paints,) and water as the medium. Thank you. I will follow through with these teachings.
Hi Albert, I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're facing with vector brushes in Fresco. To better assist you, would you mind DM'ing us on Twitter (adobe.ly/3GFH04R) and share more details? Include information about your system specifications, the model and generation of your device, and, if possible, a screen recording of the problem. This will help us understand the issue more comprehensively and work towards a solution. Thank you! ^AS
I've got a 2 in 1 laptop with a radeon R7 that seems to be updated to all the latest drivers and yet adobe says Fresco is not compatible? what gives, are they going to eventually make Fresco able to run on older hardware? thats really not that old?
DEVUNK88 Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Please check out the Adobe Fresco system requirements at helpx.adobe.com/fresco/system-requirements.html. If you still have questions, let us know and we'll do our best to find someone to help.
I am extremely late to the party here, but I need help. I just got a surface pro 9 and downloaded fresco. I want to upgrade to the monthly fresco only app plan but I cannot, for the life of me, find this option when I go to upgrade. All that seems available is the creative cloud apps plan. Can anyone here help me out finding the fresco only option?
There is no monthly Fresco option. Fresco is free with many brushes available (but not able to import additional brushes or, I think, create your own). There is an annual paid version that unlocks a few capabilities including those mentioned. It’s $9.99 a year with no monthly fees and gives 100% access to all features.
Okey maybe someone here can answer my question Why can i use fresco with my wacom when it‘s plugged in a windows pc but not when i want to use it on my mac like why is there a desktop version for windows?
Hello @anikatasnim6001, thank you for reaching out. The Quick Brush Tools available in Photoshop Brush Toolsets are not directly available in Adobe Fresco on the iPad. Adobe Fresco and Photoshop have different brush engines and capabilities. While both applications offer a wide range of brushes and tools, they may have some differences in terms of specific features and presets. If you find the Quick Brush Tools to be essential for your workflow in Adobe Fresco, I recommend posting a feature request on Adobe's UserVoice platform (adobe.ly/48wgJ5o). This platform allows users to suggest new features or improvements, and the product team reviews these suggestions regularly. The more user votes a request receives, the higher the chances of it being considered for implementation in future updates. By sharing your request there and encouraging others who may have similar needs to upvote it, you can increase the visibility of this feature request to the Adobe Fresco development team. I hope this information helps, and if you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to ask. ^AS
I downloaded Fresco but it's in Korean and I don't know how to change it to English.... I un-installed it, check my downloading preferences for downloading in my cloud - it's in set to English, but Fresco still downloaded in Korean... I mean I understand basic Korean but this it too advanced for my comprehension... How do I change the language, I'm using it on my computer, cause I don't have an iPad.
@@AdobeCreativeCloud unfortunately it did not. But today when I opened it, it was half in English and half in Korean....🤣😂 there isn't an option to change language in the general settings menu. Oh well, I better re-start learning Korean... Thanks for the help anyway.

The touch modifier can do quite a lot! Check out all of its functions by tapping on the “?” at the top right corner of the screen.
