I used to sing in the false ado like that and never knew why till I hear them again. I used to watch religious programming a lot growing up. A lot of my singing is kinda like that and people look at me like I am nuts - but I think it is beautiful. I forgot where I got it from but I did know it was related to gospel.
I saw this Show las night on Prime on History of Gospel Quartet Groups. Wen I heard this Man, Claude Jester’s firs two or three notes, my Ears jus experienced smthng Thrilling and I want More. I kept rewinding video🥹😅🥰 The Placement and Discipline of Notes were like ‘Sneak Attacks’ The other Leading Vocalist and Background Harmonies Complimented jus as Well. I also Loved the way they Praised God on Stage. All Glory to God 🫶🏽🦋❣️

This is the music my mother sang as she cooked and cleaned in our home and it just found a place in my heart and in remembrance of her I can still visualize her 40+ years later singing this inspirational hymn.
