I had this pedal at one time many moons ago. I found the effect too subtle for my tastes. You really need some acute ears to hear how it only slightly brightens up your sound. I would imagine adjusting the EQ on your amp would achieve a similar effect.
This is like an EQ but more dynamic since it senses the pick attack. EQ is always on while EH2 senses the pick attack and attenuates… means silent picking equals unity and harder picking will engages the EH2 depending on the settings and sensitivity.
@@Kevin.Kelly. My singer bought a $550 "enhancer". It works just excellently. I see them billing it as a kind of "tube simulator". I see it as a very well thought out way to EQ the signal in very fast and efficient way that can truly enhance the raw input. I would state that I still believe a good multiband 32 EQ can do the same, but only with a lot of fiddling and time. In that sense, I think these type of pedals can really help some peoples rigs. Maybe I'm wrong though lol, since I do not own one to try your suggestion, and I've been wrong before in life.)
So what a fukkk it does? It brightens the sound like turning guitar tone knob to 11! Kinda more clarity, transparency.. what’s going on here? It shelfboosts highs?Thnx bro ❤

It is a dynamic filter, or, more precisely, a state variable filter feeding an envelope controlled VCA feeding a phase inverter feeding a mixer. - copied from a forum :)
Best demo of this pedal - Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@rakbadoodlestv3676 "silent picking" ??
Lol, yep. amazing what people will pay for rather then just using an Eq.
@@Ace96x10This doesn’t do what an eq does. Try putting it in an effects loop.

Cool video!
I have seen a lot of videos of this pedal with a Strat, but one with Telecaster was missing
👍
It enhances the harmonics.

Adds hiss
