After reading some of the comments I am now more convinced than ever that most people out there think that a fighting game means a roster with 50+ characters that all share a similar move set so they can press X 20 times and win versus the AI.
I love the metal cover they used when they showed hit, fits perfectly in a strange way (seeing as that he's always calm and collected, he didn't even flinch when he was about to be erased!)
experiencing the game first hand would definitively be more satisfying, but this is a competitive fighter. If this game turns out as good as people claim, you won't be having a time not trying to find your own playstyle to take on other fighters. I think this is the thing people look forward over a large roster or discovering secrets. There are games that do that much better for you to enjoy such as DBZ BT3 or from other franchises any Pokemon game, Zelda etc. or you get just play Budokai 3 and have a bit of everything.
So! What fighterz are people planning on useing?? Personally, i'm thinking of useing some of the following - Hit Goku Black Ultimate Gohan SSJ2 Gohan Gotenks and either No.18 or Trunks. Obviously i won't be sure till i actually play the game.
I would like SSJ4 Goku. I know that might piss people off to have another Goku but he has so many fun to look at moves to use. I even made a poorly edited character concept for him which shows what you could use for anime references and such and the type of fighter you can turn him into. Bardock and Broly will be coming for sure. It would be dumb to not add 2 of the most popular characters in the franchise.
The dramatic finishes are gonna be legit, very satisfying...well this whole game is satisfaction :) but yeah the dramatic finishers tells me they went the extra mile for this game and the fans.
Shuu protip about DBFZ and Fighting Games in general: Lore strength =/= Game strength. The "useless" characters in the show will definitely be useful in this game.
