I got chills just watching that part. U are so right. I was there, right up front and the energy was crazy. Their vibe is one of a kind and no matter how long its been since they last saw each other or how much bad blood there was/is, they really enjoy singing together.
Just curious... Where did you get that Dawn and Terry were best friends? It always seemed like Terry and Cindy were closest. The majority of the time when two members wore the same color or dressed alike, it was always Terry and Cindy. I always got a vibe that one half of the group rolled the hardest with each other - Terry/Cindy and Dawn/Maxine.

Humble One she could have achieved her stardom by staying with en vogue. She needed them and they've needed her. Not that her points aren't valid; en vogue was her stepping stone to a solo career WITH them. Being paid higher wages is not negotiable based on 360 contracts unless you produce and she's only a singer not a songwriter/producer. I want Bill Gates money too.
These ladies are awesome, all beautiful and everyone of them can blow! BUT... It is something when all four of the original members of EV are together singing, IT'S MAGIC! It's a special combination that comes once in a life time. I wish that they didn't have so many problems, they would have been even much better that what they were. JUST AWESOME! It doesn't matter which is your favorite young lady in this group; when all four of them are not together it's not the same. Each one of them have their own place that can't be replaced.
You can have longevity live this when you can really sing. So many of the new Artist are full of electronic devices helping
them to sound good and it doesn't last long. These girls are still fine! It's crazy how fine Cindy and Terry are OMG!

i love what Dawn does to this song when she's on her A-game. Her ad-libs give it that extra funky 70s type soul. She killed it when they came back together this year to honor Sylvia Rhone too. Check it out if u can find the whole clip of this song.
