It’s funny how we have to tip toe around all of the time to not offend anyone... We have become so sensitive as a society. Yes girl. We want to look svelt! Thanks for the great tips! 💕Jamie
I would like to dress to look shorter and heavier, said no woman ever. Anywhere. Stop apologizing, people looking for an excuse to be angry with you will find one. Outrage is on trend right now.
Loved all the tips ... I would love if you could bring different body types and do what you do so well , in their bodies. A petite voluptuous woman, a tall larger hips woman a mixer of shapes, colors and beauty. That would be so helpful. Thank You for you 💕
I agree! I would love to see tips on dressing to slim a "pooch" as I call it... my extra tummy from my belly button down. It's not huge but it's there. I don't like the panty lines that shapewear and control panties leave so style tips would be so amazing!
I LOVE this one! These are things I picked up from Stacy London AGES ago (I feel so old, sometimes), and still so few women understand them. Thank you Erin!
I love both your Look Slimmer videos and I watch them repeatedly. Your tips are valid for all ladies regardless of size. It's all about the silhouette a woman wants to create with her outfits from day to day. I may not necessarily want to look polished on my couch potato days but it's been life affirming for me to have the choice to look and feel amazing when I'm out and about. Your hacks have been a game changer for this 5'0" gal!
I'll have to say, several years ago I saw a woman who owned her weight. She was clearly a much larger woman, but never before had I seen someone look so flattering, and it was because she didn't hide behind ill- fitted clothing. Great tips, you have a new subscriber.
I for one.....appreciate your input/advice on looking slimmer.👗 It is totally ✨inspiring✨ when " you " model the looks. Your recommendations are so helpful visually. I love fashion even more ... because of your videos Erin. Thank you 💐
You are amazing Erin! At least three of these tips are the standard in my closet. I only wear vnecks or tops that show skin up on top - (shoulders, not cleavage!) and size up in white jeans as well as shorts. I also feel that a slight flare Jean is far more slimming than skinny jeans. I'm so happy that they're coming back in style. Thanks for your thoughtful, genuine and classy videos.
I appreciate it! I’m 5’2” and xs-petite in my shoulders and arms although I’m a 38C so that becomes a problem. I have a slim waistline however at 62 am fighting the waist-hip battle, so I need to feel & look slimmer! I can no longer wear belts because of surgery (they hurt), so now I can utilize your extra tips! Not many off the rack pieces work for petite pear shapes. We are all different, and most women are too self critical but shouldn’t get on your case because of it. You’re trying to help. Enjoyed these 1 & 2. I’m new and thought the videos were simple and well done. Thank you! 💞👍
I just love how beautifully put together your videos are. Thank you so much for the tips. I also really appreciate how slowly you move when you’re modeling the clothes so that I can see the details.
While I know dark jeans are more slimming, I'm still amazed at the difference they make in looking slimmer! Great tips as always! ☺️ thank you for your inspiration!!
Thank you for all the great tips, as a petite woman always looking for tips to look taller and thinner. Its so sad that you have to make a point to apologize for your help.😘 I appreciate you!
It is so saddening that humanity have placed the sensitivities in all the wrong places that we need to give warnings, disclaimers, explanations because we expound on things that should remain simple and vice versa. It can be tiring and disheartening but thanks to the few bunch that spread positivity. ... regarding your work Erin thank you for the effort. I do love your videos.
It's a shame during the first part of your video you had to explain yourself. It seems like people can't just move on without saying negative comments. Uggh. Great job on the video! I enjoyed it!
Yup its sad that everyone is here to look thinner yet afterwards criticize her and the tips. Can we just calm down and learn how to look slimmer with a donut in our hand LOL
I really appreciate these videos. It's perfect timing because I'm about to meet a guy in the military who I've been talking to for several months and I want to look slimmer than I am right now. Darn French fries!😬
Erin this was my first look at one of your videos. Thank you for the wee monologue as I was going to just pass by. I know those who adore you probably are saying you don't have to explain yourself. Truly appreciated. You're a lovely woman & know your style. Great advice for so many women. 💃
It was like a Jeopardy question “ what do I always say about drama ?” Love that saying of yours . Great video as always ! Hoping you have a good one today without SNOW ! ♥️Pam
Hi Erin, Love what you’re trying to show in this video and these techniques definitely work for a slim body. Can you show how they work for a larger body? Eg a fitted / body skimming dress vs a baggier floaty dress? How should a larger person wear jeans?
I totally appreciate your comment on fabric and the volume and sizing up. Good advice as always. I personally have always loved rayon because it does not add volume. There are many choices of fabric as well.
Thank you for this video! I sometimes forget about these very common sense fashion tips and gravitate to throwing on something “comfortable” like a roomy tee and a roomy pair of shorts, in a pinch. I’ll look at myself in the mirror and realize it’s not good. If I replace the tee with a fitted tank, I look so much better. Keep the tips coming!!
Thank you for your videos. You're such a pro! Can you talk to how to where a crop wide leg pant should hit on your leg? They are really trendy right now - especially the one with the paper-bag style you wore in this video. I'm only 5' 1" and I just picked up a pair - so they look almost like real full length pants on me. I could get them hemmed.. but where to ? The ankle or above the ankle? I just don't know what length is supposed to look the most flattering ? Thank you so much.
Great video, as usual. The cardigan vs slim jacket: I love the look (and feel) of the oversized cardigan as long as I wear fitted jeans and a fitted top. I also love jeans and a sparkly or super silky top underneath the wooly cardigan - the contrast is wonderful.
I love all of your videos & learn something from each one I watch. We actually have similar style. I was the mom that told my daughter if you're showing on the top, cover the bottom & vice versa. You're a beautiful woman! Slay girl, SLAY!
It would be great if you could bring in models who illustrate the tips that you are describing. It's much easier to see your suggestions in action on regular and/or plus size body frames.
That was my thought seeing her video for the first time. However it's probably about promoting Erin & her lovely style. Maybe she would do that as one time or seasonal guest to broaden the viewership. I think it may be fun if she had a friend that would fit the bill. Wish her much success. 🌷
speaking of denim, what's the best combo of materials in a denim that make it look more sophisticated, less baggy, more durable? higher percentage of cotton vs other fabrics? how much percentage is ideal?
I love your tips, but this would be over the top if you had someone who wasn’t already slim modeling these suggestions. Extra bonus points if you had different body shapes like apple, pear shaped.
Thank you so much for your channel Erin! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Per usual...bang on with these tips! I had an outfit “fail” at a recent event. When I look back at the photos...it was definitely the 3rd tip about lacking structure that would have helped prevent the mistep 🤦🏾♀️! Now I know!🤗
Thanks for the great tips. We have a Facebook group entitled. "Aging Like Fine Wine: A Beauty Blog" and I share your videos all of the time! BTW, I am a Nordstrom girl as well! Keep doing what you are doing; you do it well!
Hi Erin !! No need to explain and I don’t feel over weight but as I’m only 5 ft 2 in a half I love to look a little taller !!! TFS and you look beautiful in all the outfits as always !! Hugs and love 💕 xoxo
I was just reading your June 1 'This Week on BusbeeStyle' and I have to say, you couldn't look dowdy if you tried! I'm wondering what these people's taste is like. Brene Brown is great. Love your style. Love the how to look slimmer tricks.
Love this video, alot of the tips I already adapt but its so useful seeing your ideas. I really love the duster coat and how it elongates you - most dusters are inclined to be cotton and not knitted so I especially love that one you wore :-) and great tip about sizing up white jeans, so agree with that.
Love the split skirt! I have very limited space and would like a split skirt to wear with boots I already own. Should I look for a skirt that is the same color for the slimming effect?
🤗Great tips thanks for the video. looking at you I sure miss my figure ,I used to look just like you with your shape and your blond hair .now I am quite a bit overweight and have a lot of gray LOL. But it's a joy watching you and learning some tips to help to look a little Slimmer till I get the pounds off thanks so much have a wonderful day🌹. I wouldn't worry too much about the badcomments. you get it's just jealousy and the words can't hurt you. you're beautiful I'm jealous too but in a good way. Keep On Keepin On🎶
I always have t wear clothes to make me look heavier . So the first version is what I have to do or layer. I’m soo glad I understand fabric and layering . Not attacking you just saying it’s hard on this end also. Off the shoulder is still sexy on thin girls because the neck is long and clavicle bones and sexy shoulders.
It’s funny how we have to tip toe around all of the time to not offend anyone...
We have become so sensitive as a society. Yes girl. We want to look svelt! Thanks for the great tips! 💕Jamie
Frock Revival Jamie Evans ... yes
I agree. I want to look healthy that does not always mean slim when you are over 50.
Absolutely!
Amen! 💖 I wanna look the best I can especially when I go out. But of course there’s many days I just default to sweats and that’s cool too.
I would like to dress to look shorter and heavier, said no woman ever. Anywhere. Stop apologizing, people looking for an excuse to be angry with you will find one. Outrage is on trend right now.
I know! it´s ridiculous!
Seriously well stated!
My Namename ...seriously 🙄 ....lol
Spot on!
IKR. This generation is so overly sensitive they've lost all sight of common sense.
Loved all the tips ... I would love if you could bring different body types and do what you do so well , in their bodies. A petite voluptuous woman, a tall larger hips woman a mixer of shapes, colors and beauty. That would be so helpful. Thank You for you 💕

I just found an entire video on her channel about tummy tips!! 😁
Whether your already slim or not. I can actually see the difference. Gotta follow these tips.
I LOVE this one! These are things I picked up from Stacy London AGES ago (I feel so old, sometimes), and still so few women understand them. Thank you Erin!
Love Stacy and Clinton I learned a lot from these two!

Your recommendations are so helpful visually.
I love fashion even more ... because of your videos Erin.
Thank you 💐
Just discovered dusters for myself. And I love them! Love how they flow in the back like a train.
I'd say anyone who clicks on a video titled "how to look slimmer" - cannot complain if then styles are shown that try to hide a few pounds... 🤔
You are amazing Erin! At least three of these tips are the standard in my closet. Thanks for your thoughtful, genuine and classy videos.
Even with the less-than-helpful shape of the “before”’look, you look cute bc you have such an eye for style! Thx for doing a side-by-side.
I appreciate it! I’m 5’2” and xs-petite in my shoulders and arms although I’m a 38C so that becomes a problem. Love that you wear your hair different in each video! Inspiring since I have the same cut. 😃

Thanks, Erin! ...especially liked the bonus tip about sizing up for white jeans... Makes a lot of sense.
Thank you so much for these tips. Part 1 and 2 are both great. I hope we have a part 3 for fall season.
Like to look taller, I am 5’1” and my husband always says fitted is better and not frumpy!
Thank you for a very helpful video!
Hi Erin! Thanks a lot. Great tips as usual! Love your channel!

can you use a heavier model pls like last time.
Great video, as usual. The cardigan vs slim jacket: I love the look (and feel) of the oversized cardigan as long as I wear fitted jeans and a fitted top. I also love jeans and a sparkly or super silky top underneath the wooly cardigan - the contrast is wonderful.
