One of my favorite Trivium songs! Along with 'Into The Mouth of Hell We March', 'Ignition", "Detonation", and every other Trivium song!!! You just can't beat the sound of this band! It's perfect to listen to in any mood, and the songs get better every time you listen to them! The only problem is, not nearly as many people know about them as, and I speak for alot of people out there, we would like. You can't know how awesome Trivium is unless you're a Trivium fan!
I have been a fan of Trivium for 10 solid years! Have seen them twice, have an autographed ticket from the original members! I have and will always love this band!!! #Ascendency #Triviumhasmyheart

So guys, I have a weird history with Trivium. I knew about them for a long time but never really gave them a chance at first, because I used to only listen to very specific bands. Thankfully I'm more open-minded nowadays. My first album by them was Vengeance Falls in 2013, because I was interested in David Draiman being its producer. I loved the album but I was surprised to hear that longtime fans hated it. It seems that they didn't like the influence Draiman had on Matt's vocals. I listened to every album since then and I love this band now. Now I'm going backwards in the album list and I'm now discovering all this old music by them that I had missed before. Thank god I'm listening to this older material because it's great!
Dude when I got this album when it came out back when I was in either 10th or 11th grade I thought that the whole album reminded me of Metallica. That's one of the reasons I fell in love with album and band.:)
Well when it comes to Trivium they usually connect their sounds as a whole versus individual tracks. I'll wait and see how the tracks flow together compared to the album.
Fun fact: I listened to this album so many times start to finish, the cd actually stopped working. I bought a replacement of course... maybe that’s why I’ll always have a sort of soft spot for this song.

Great band...I'm from the 80's ( Metallica, Megadeth, Overkill, Mercyful Fate, Ozzy, Anvil, venom, Slayer, Exodus, Metal Church, Armored Saint, Lizzy Bordon, Nazareth, Cenderella, Black 'n' Blue, Iron Maiden, Pantera (90's), just sayin these guys rock pretty good.

"Lyrics"
[Solo: Jason]
And the earth
Begins to shake
A cacophony of roaring
Anxiety growing
Cheers to leaving this mortal life behind
sweat begins its downpour
A riot we stand for
The blackout foreshadows the chaos
So raise your voices with me
And sing this song of unity
So raise your hands up with me
And hold this moment eternally
[Solo: Jason]
Like a rift, opened in the sky
Through fire, pulses and lightning
While thunderous sounds ring
Chanting hymns to leave life's troubles behind
This time shared together is just so much better
Than life could ever offer
So raise your voices with me
And sing this song of unity
So raise your hands up with me
And hold this moment eternally
[Solo: Corey]
So raise your voices with me
And sing this song of unity
So raise your hands up with me
And hold this moment eternally
So raise your voices with me
And sing this song of unity
So raise your hands up with me
And hold this moment eternally
[Solo: Matt]
[under solo:]
So raise your voices with me
And sing this song of unity
So raise your hands up with me
