Happy to see scene still exists. Im a guy, but was always into scene looks since I was in middle school. I want to bleach my hair but I don't think it's worth the long term health effects so im waiting for a safer option to be engineered
@@Hello-gf2og I mean, it can damage your hair (especially if you bleach it too often or you use 40 volume developer), but from my experience of turning part of my light brown hair platinum blonde (before using semi permanent pink over the bleached section), it wasn't that bad. My hair is still in good shape, doesn't feel rough, and interestingly, my bangs (the part that I bleached) stay straighter longer than the unbleached section that I dyed black. I'd recommend using 20 volume developer and bleach 1 - 2 times if your hair isn't darker than maybe light brown. Also, don't try bleaching Splat out of your hair. I made that mistake once, and ended up with neon orange bangs because I tried bleaching Splat 30 wash Midnight Ruby out of my hair. On the 2nd round of bleaching, it turned pink.

“Roots fine, everything else not fine” I’m no Brad Mondo- but this is why you do the roots last. Bleach works best with heat. Your scalp emits heat and therefore your roots will develop faster. Entertaining vid tho and loved the end product ❤️😁
The BOTDF topic I totally agree with you! There are sometimes things that nobody should ever listen to, especially if you know the lyrics or the people behind it......

I used to be scene years ago and i was obsessed with botdf... he used to message me on Facebook... i met dahvie at a show and all i can say is believe the accusations.
i know this is an older-ish vid but i 10000% agree with what was said abt botdf. it's genuinely disturbing to me when ppl ESPECIALLY MINORS dance and sing to those songs. as someone who is a young adult and in the alt community i feel like i need to protect the new kids in the scene idk man :") we gotta look out for each other
I was eight years old or seven, but I was introduced to blood on the dance floor at a young age. I stopped listening to their music after I listened to of the song abt him needing to leave his town, I was disgusted. I deleted al of his songs and took them out of my playlists, I was eight and I even realized it wasnt normal.
Ugh even back in the myspace scene days it didnt take long after BOTDF's blow up for alot of us to realize the music itself was just awful. I liked a couple songs, but it really wasnt long before we were making fun of people for listening to them. Bullying is wrong, but I mean sometimes... sometimes people just need to be bullied.

They are never going to "engineer" another way to lift color out of hair like bleach does anytime soon 😂 just stop being a pussy and do it if you want to
"Do you need to poop or you just wanna be involved" that's cute
dang it, I thought your hair before was black and blue, not two different blue colors lol It looks great your final result
nah blue-black is still black, it’s just supposed to have a blue tint to it but the one i used didnt
@@acidmilk666 I'm sorry that the dye did not live up to your expectations, also I don't know a lot about dyes so I just have the colors vocabulary everyone has so I just went with "black" xd
@@Volan21 nooo i was actually glad it wasn’t blue-black xD when i bought it they were out of stock of regular black so i was rly happy it turned out to not have a blue tint
@@acidmilk666 Ohhh that's good, so I was wrong all along. I should stop assuming things or opinions about others. I'm working on it, it's confusing, like I know is not really cool but I keep doing it and I catch myself too late xd. But yeah good to see that you like your dye
@@Volan21 u weren’t assuming much, just asking a question, and she was happy to answer, so u arnt in any wrong dude!
YAAAAA im so happy u decided to make this a vid!! idk why but i really love watchin vids where ppl dye their hair; its like therapeutic; prolly cuz i wanna dye my hair so bad ksdjvb (which may be soon!! gotta make an appointment) also!! i just wanna say i really love your vids; theyre so relax n chill n its like sittin down n listenin to a friend chat (hope that doesnt sound too weird sjdn)
and ur hair came out lookin bomb af!!
i get this so much, i sometimes go into rabbit holes of 10+ year old scene hair dye videos lol
Me too! most people say that watching other people doing makeup is relaxing but for me it's watching hair dye videos
I've seen pink, black, and blonde before on some scene queens back in the day
Omg I️ loved the conversation. This was so real and so honestly great to hear someone responsible talking about these important topics
Arctic Fox has been having everything removed from reddit and such but she's def an animal hoarder and she has been abusing her animals for years. And she said some super racist shit on instagram so yeah, I am glad to hear people are paying attention to that stuff. I still have some of their dye, obviously I'm gonna use it, but I've switched to punky color and back to manic panic as well.
i forgot about punky color!! a few years ago i used their pink and purple which were rly nice but i tried one of their blues and it was sooo ickyyyy xD i’m just glad sally’s has a larger selection now so i don’t have to rely exclusively on arctic fox (since i’ve never loved manic panic n those were the only two in stores)
6:25 was literally a bout to comment how cute your eyebrows look. They just keep looking cuter the longer the video goes on.
just found this channel and i already love it so much
i wanna dye my hair so bad but i have natural hair ;-;
i feel like this satisfied my urges to do it bc you’re so personable!! 💖
Wdym by "natural hair"
@@gizmo4192 4C hair. an afro! 💖
@@xMars_ aw thx.. i’m just really nervous it’s gonna fall out
I really wish that DDL‘s (Direct dye lifters) were available to everyone. Unfortunately all the ones I’ve ever seen are only available to cosmetology students or licensed cosmetologist. ☹️
“Roots fine, everything else not fine”
I’m no Brad Mondo- but this is why you do the roots last. Bleach works best with heat. Your scalp emits heat and therefore your roots will develop faster.
Entertaining vid tho and loved the end product ❤️😁
"I like having bleach powder on hand, im an impulsive bitch" - also me contemplating doing my hair again after just doing it 2 weeks ago lol
u just saved me from so much boredom yayyyyy
The BOTDF topic I totally agree with you! There are sometimes things that nobody should ever listen to, especially if you know the lyrics or the people behind it......
Love the hair!! This was how I found your videos and I immediately subscribed lol
Medic Droid-Fer Sure♡
This scenie weenie shit is being back loads of nostalgia.
Your natural hair texture is fucking beautiful!!!
The way your hair is naturally is so nice !!! 😍
I currently have a midnight blue/ peacock blue split dye. Was thinking of removing the colour and doing a black/pink or lavender split. Need to remove the colour and bleach my now 1 yr old roots before dying again. Not excited for the 9 hour process haha.
I love the way your hair is cut!!! Would lo e to see how you get it cut like that! 🔥🔥
Your rant about botd was on pointtttt❤️❤️❤️
Honest! I hate that “separate the art form the artist” shit: he’s a fuckin creep. His music portrays that, and they KNOW that.
time stamp?
@@hilol2220 Of when she’s talking about botdf?
@@dgabriela1406 yeah

I never knew blood on the dance floor was so problematic!! I used to listen to candy land and sexting 24/7 and I never knew it was abt pedophelia :00 w o w
Usually I can tell when I watch a video for 20 minutes but I didn’t even notice till you said it! That’s how much you keep my attention! You are very entertaining!
Ill miss ur old hair but im hapoy u chamged it into something even better
I’m 24 and looking at ppl who livin my hair dreams I feel so old scene was such big thing back in the day 😭😭😭
Definitely same 😞😭 same age too!
I love whatching this girl while messing up my hair, I'm not even following the steps I'm just like having fun with a friend 🥰
you need a podcast i could seriously listen to u for hours!
this turned out so good!
I used to be scene years ago and i was obsessed with botdf... he used to message me on Facebook... i met dahvie at a show and all i can say is believe the accusations.
ur actally perfect never change
i know this is an older-ish vid but i 10000% agree with what was said abt botdf. it's genuinely disturbing to me when ppl ESPECIALLY MINORS dance and sing to those songs. as someone who is a young adult and in the alt community i feel like i need to protect the new kids in the scene idk man :") we gotta look out for each other
I'm just so amazed she's so damn pretty
Bruh you really said trust the process
I was eight years old or seven, but I was introduced to blood on the dance floor at a young age. I stopped listening to their music after I listened to of the song abt him needing to leave his town, I was disgusted. I deleted al of his songs and took them out of my playlists, I was eight and I even realized it wasnt normal.
you’re so pretty ahhh
came from the brad mondo video but your energy is so immaculate and your style is SO COOL!!
I love this community tbh y'all are amazing👌🤘💅
I wish I was as strong as your hair after all of the colour lifting and bleaching and painting and apocalypse 😂 😂 😂
I really like the wavy hair look on you!
i love your personality. youre an icon
i thought i was done with my emo phase but here i am 7 years later
I was just listening a song and I got here lol. But I loved your new pink hair
this video distracted me from my thoughts for a whole 40 minutes and i thank u for that
