Okay so it's Important to note that he has one CDR rune. You literally can't get that 3 stack on camp 2 without it, so it's a key component to his clear.

Not exactly true! :D CDR from blue is enough to get passiv on second gromp. Still this exact full clear only works with the rune :)

Played a brand jungle game last night and it feels pretty good. It was my fault though that I was unable to gank top and bottom twice at the same time before 3 minutes, and I brought dishonor on myself and my family.
I feel like u were my brand jungle 💀

Some Brand on the other team the other day same skin, went 16/4 at like 20 mins and my graves jungle went 0 and 12. fun game!!!!

He literally doesnt have to stop moving for his clears after the initial one thats how strong the passive is. Insane tempo advantage over the opponent.
What happened to clears, are they nerfed? Last season/split karthus or heca could do 2 55 full clear, fiddle too, now ppl get crazy over 3.05 clears.
@@matyaskarikas1348 They decreased the leash range and increased monsters hp, the jungle camps almost doubled their hp on the second clear. That's why % health dmg is so good in jungle now, including Brand.
If Chovy was a jungle main i think he would have this exact playstyle

@@mitr0785there’s more to it than that. Like when agurin invaded enemy botside because he saw jarvan top, so he knew he didn’t take his bot camps. Also, Agurin times his fullclears so he arrives to objectives exactly on spawn, and he kites camps very well. Jungle isn’t that hard, but it’s harder than you’re giving it credit for being.

im honestly surprised this wasnt considered "meta" sooner. brand's passive is disgustingly good for baron and dragon obj's, i dont see why it wouldnt be just as viable vs the monsters as well. even before the buffs he was really strong at least helping out clear jungles and objectives. but now its WAY stronger.
He was a long time ago when morgana, rumble were also played jungle. And guess what, they are also good jungle again. People don't want to play what's best. They just want to play the same champ for years 😂 that's why when you think about the most obvious champs that can be op, try them, and they are op you'll be probably the only person that found it. 6 month later after 5 nerfs some challenger player will see it while smurfing on his 7th account and will "make it popular" (that's exactly beginning of graves top 😂, and for old players, Blue Ezreal).

ivern clears in 3:08 fiddle in 3:09 karthus i think around 3:10 aswell and they even keep 1 smite (not sure about karthus) so i dont think its that new tbh
He is new to the club that's for sure, the advantage of this guy is that he can clear very fast even withouth items due to his passive. Lately there hasn't been new champs that were able to fullclear that fast
Dont forget about Darius jungle.
Brand has a stun and more importantly BURST damage. Ivern, fiddle, and karthus cannot match him.
I think riot could do well with brand jg if he was a pick used against skirmish junglers, or just buff shaco ap ratios lol

This is actually completly fine gameplay. He can clear fast and do objectives fast. His ganks arent optimal and he has a kit where u need to hit skillshots. Unlike moronic stat check champions with point and click abilities that are tanky and do the same dmg. But ofc league players will always cry. I guess its more enjoyable to play vs Jarvan, the champ that spawns with 2k worth of gold of stats has a mongloid kit and spam ganks to get 1 lvl gapped after being down 70 cs. Or ofc the newest riot creation the Briar that goes full dmg, can tank 1v5 for fun and oneshots you if she sees u on the map or the healthiest thing a global ulti which if it hits you you can just go get a coffee because there is no outplaying to that.

Hard nerf ability/lvl based dmg, put it on items and hes no longer a support, but yes what do i know not a dev.

Yeah i have a good 50 brand jung games, i used to do it even 2 patches ago before it was buffed even the first time - I get absolutely railed by a few invaders. I just lost half my camps a clear to a damn zed jungle main lol. J4 Xin are rough too
@@jreverie7018 and any actual jg this elo that loses to brand jg witj j4 will go in the vod and check what happened and will see that all his early dominance came from his fast clear, tempo and just understand that the best way to counter is with invading. Also as the pick is played more in high elo, laners will catch on and often make sure they have a prio heavy champion to play around the snowball potential of their jg since brand is so weak early. I can see this work CONSITANTLY up to low diamond tho...I just think master + will catch up pretty quickly..so abuse it while i can agurin

Kha won’t one shot brand. Brand is arguably stronger since faster clear = faster gank. It’s actually possible to full clear then invade kha on his second buff
kha has to do 3 camps and then invade it's his only chance (ideally with a good leash).
I actually have him on my friends list in EUW. I never knew it was him, crazy to think about!

Brand is a great jungle pick right now, but be aware that the J4 on the enemy team was absolutely terrible this game
This is less about the Jarven play and more about the double kill bot lane. Once that happened jungle and bot were winning and J4 could never get his blue side jungle again because Taric could assist the over leveled Brand in stealing camps. Being behind as jungler is so punishing.
@@jekster it was j4 fault the gank top was garbage and he should know he just lose it and that bot would be dived. thats why agurinn is so consistent becuase he doesnt go for dumb ganks like that. it was a jungle diff
@@themyth3656 His entire team was losing though and a big reason why was because of the incredible clear speed and tempo Agurin got where he finished full clear at 3 min and could therefore respond to the play bot side in time whereas other champions would have to skip krugs, maybe turn that fight around but would be down a level for scuttle at which point there would not be a massively significant lead between the two, because both junglers would be level 3 with Agurin's team having a slight gold lead from the double kill bot lane. But in this situation it wasn't just the fact his team scored a double kill, it's the fact he could full clear, still be on time on the level 3 bot fight and then transition to get both scuttles and go back to full clear while J4 was still only level 3. Yes, J4 did not play optimally but to argue there was no champ difference here is so disingenuous, because Agurin sacrificed nothing for opting for full clear and doing a min 3 bot gank. Normally a jungler would have to skip 1-2 camps to accomplish similar results. That's where the unfairness lies, and this tempo lead only grows stronger over time as well. If the jungle pick itself was not relevant Agurin wouldn't play Brand jungle so much.

@@Kamishi845 yeah other jungler champs clear faster than other junglers and junglers like graves could do the same that brand did and clear insanely fast and be there for that fight. fiddlestick can clear just as fast if not faster than brand so are we to nerf fiddle aswell because of fast clear? no thats not a reason to nerf it since a fast clear in it self doesn't mean the champ is broken. junglers clear faster than others we know this and we use it to our advantage j4 could have invaded. since there is no way brand could win 1v1 without red so no it was not a champ difference it was simply a jungle diff. So no normal junglers dont have to skip camps since some champs just clear faster than others game has always been that way. so that cannot be an arguement of why it was a brand diff it was a player diff nothing else.
I am a degenerate student who wakes up at 12 AM CET. Midbeast videos were almost always uploaded around this time before, making it perfect for my 'morning' coffee. However, nowadays this is not the case, and it truly hurts me to have to watch these videos while not freshly out of bed with a warm cup of coffee in my hand.

I dont think this is free elo just due to how painful brand can be to play. If you learn the champ he is certainly string right now but he isn't an immediate pickup champ and has weaknesses you gotta learn to play around

I love that he's using ghost. When I still played LOL, I would run Brand using Phase Rush because imo what he needs .ore than Dark harvest process is mobility and he can prock it so easily to chase or flee.
Conquorer is also better for him than dark harvest. Brand doesn't actually need finisher damage from harvest, Co quorer is stronger imo

League s biggest flaw is how the game heavy jungler-dependent is.
I think part of the issue with that thinking though is that, as a jungler, I struggle most when the laners rotate and mine don't. In my experience laners enable junglers. If mid and jg come to my red buff I'm just screwed

It gives a way for mid and support players to start playing jungle, jungle needs the most players. This is silver elo type thinking and why midbeasto can't understand what riot is trying to do.
no mid and supp players will play jg just because brand is viable. Jg is the most different lane when compared to other lanes and most people learning it just struggle a lot with a lot of things like jungle pathing, objective timers, etc.

Karthus can clear in less than 3 minutes by a few seconds. Fiddlestick's clear is almost exactly the same as Brand's.

Bot lane APC brand is actually so busted, I think it's better than support.
This isnt a good example of what jungler should do because its an ideal free game . Bot and mid prio after first 2 ganks it was over.
