Using it for more than 6? years already and it changed everything for me! Great video!
Great to hear-thanks for checking this out and chiming in with your experience!
Love the versatility and non-permanent nature of the robpin.
That opening up of the sound might be the very physical act of pointing the sound diagonally upwards rather than across the room! This is very cool!!
Good point!
I think it opens up some basses because it eliminates bending force on the bottom block. A straight pin set out a fair amount tends to compress the top and possibly constrict resonance.
thanks Jason!
You bet!
Great vid for the topic, mosey-ing over to ole robs right meow.
Nice!
Seems to be what I've been looking for. How much does it cost?
It depends on where you live. You can visit their website and send Rob an email to ask: basscapos.com/robpin.html
@@doublebasshq Thank you! I already submitted a request for a quote. I've read other reviews at TalkBass and they confirm what you said regarding the quality.
I don't know why my endpin vibrates and make noise when i play the E note on my bass
You might want to take it into a bass shop to get it checked out. There could be several reasons why it’s rattling on the E string.
in the mean time, my old Kay endpin did that too (as an upright noob it scared me, i thought i had a separating bass bar)
i put half a post-it note around the endpin, placed so that with the endpin at the right height it sat just inside where the endpin goes into the holder part; rattle went away!
Nice shirt!
Thanks!
Love it, where did you get it??
