Massive Declutter! | The 30-Day Minimalism Game | Motivational Monday Series

So, the way I approached this challenge was not to complete on consecutive days first and foremost as my hob is very time consuming and if I forced myself to stick to unrealistic time constraints then I knew I would give up rather than persevere. This enabled me to complete the game at my own pace and to feel like I was constantly chipping away whenever I had a reasonable amount of time it also prevented guilt from getting rid of things quickly just to get the number up.
The other amendment was that I didn't complete 1-30 in order. I did start by doing that, but then or more successful dags I found I was saving items for a future video rather than getting rid of them. so instead I write the numbers I had left and each time I decluttered I aimed to complete one of the numbers. if I fell just short then it spurred me on to get to the next available number.

Yay thanks for sticking it out! Me too, it just goes to show how much stuff accumulates in our home. Yes me too! I usually watch the video before taking the stuff to the charity shop just in case I see something and regret my decision xx

Well done Amie, u got rid of so much. I stayed to the end too. I love a long video. I got ill 6 years ago and my husband ended up having to do the housework, it made me declutter loads of make life easy for him and recently we decided to stop decorating for Easter and Halloween(we don’t have kids). So got rid of even more. If donating got to remember it will all go to someone else who will love it xx
