You have a beautiful voice and smile. You have me looking through all of your videos when I should be going to sleep. My favorite so far is Linoleum but this cover is great too.
Thanks for the memories . Making Movies was one of the first albums I bought , got a music centre and 6 album tokens for Christmas when I was 14 went out and bought Making Moves . Songs to Learn and Sing by Echo and The Bunnymen . Londons Calling , War U2 , Dream of the Blue Turtles by Sting and Transformer by Lou Reed ( What a mixed up child I must have been ) before that I just used to tape stuff from the radio and steal/borrow my sisters records , Can't believe you uploaded a song from the first album I ever bought and on the same day I bought it all those years ago , loved that song xx
Lovely song and well sung. It's the best thing I have listened to for a long time. I wish I was a big time record producer so I could sign you up. Thank you Alice.
What's with the string of releases? And why do you always change the location? Interesting choice here. Really enjoyed the last one. I've never heard that song before.
Hi Jason! I realised that I never really made much of my channel but that I was moved by all of the kind people out there so I decided to start recording my practises and uploading any songs that resembled presentability. I know so many songs and I kind of want to keep a record. I can't decide on a location I like... I sat on the stairs here because there's some natural reverb there that can only help the cause! Thank you for listening!
@@alicebanksy Thanks for the reply. You know what you make more out of your channel? North America Tour 2019. I'm joking (but not really). Keep on Keepin on. -Jason
Hi Alice, I fell in love with 'So Far Away' by Dire Straits over the past couple weeks - always thought they were a mid-western American band. The song came up on a list of songs from Halt and Catch Fire. (Awesome show. Great musical choices throughout). Today while brushing my teeth I thought to listen to your Roy Bailey cover and stumbled across this Dire Straits cover (which I forgot even commenting on). Anyway, it's got pandemic overtones, 'So Far Away' that is. Any, ah, chance of cover? Figured I'd ask. I won't hold my breathe. Maybe cross a finger or two. In seriousness, hope this finds you safe and healthy during the pandemic. Be well, Jason
I'm so in love with the way you sang it And your voice sounds even softer with this Song🥰 check out my first Song "Greater Thrills" And let me know what you think if you want to, have a nice day!
Ahh, one of my favorite songs! Brb, gonna go cry now.
Awesome cover, very moving.
