Thanks for this video, it's so cool! It has always been my dream to study in Japan for high school, and I'm getting closer! I also think it's so cool as a girl of color myself for you to show this, it's a huge inspiration and motivation! 😄
I just found your channel/video! Ive always wanted to study in Japan! But now that i have a family and cant see me doing that anytime soon! But im learning Japanese every day! I love seeing how excited you get from learning! Its so encouraging! And ive always wanted to have Japanese homework etc (weird i know) so its so fun seeing all the stuff you get to do!
Just a thought that I had while thinking, I think it would be great if you shared the kanji that you are learning that day with us so we could learn along with you. And if not a video every day, if that is too much, maybe one at the end of every week. Or a review recap just before you're quizzed. I think this would really help you in your learning. And I would definitely tune in every day for "The joy of kanji" hosted by Joy. 😮😊 Enjoyed this video. 🤍❤️🤍 I'm anticipating hearing about the school trip, and life outside of school.
Ive been sitting in anticipation for an update! Im just self studying at the moment, so its been fascinating to see your journey and what you learn in an actual school setting. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Minna No Nihongo also has its sister book - "Translation and Grammatical Notes in English" which is the same thing - only it is translated to English and grammar for each point is explained. I am sure you must know it but I just want to underline how useful it is to me for learning, too. I love your videos - they are very insightful and motivating, thanks!
Hi Joy. I applied to a language school in Japan. They said they’r gonna interview me .. Can you make a video about the interview, the questions they asked….. and etc
Great video thank you :) one question: what is the age demographic at these language schools, I want to go to one next year but im 33, and feel a bit old maybe? 🤷🏻♂️
Going abroad to study a language can be really fun. I don't get why Japanese people make such a big deal about writing kanji and stroke order. If you can read it then you can type it and that's all that matters. Even Japanese people don't write kanji very much in real life. Why does anyone care about the stroke order? And how can they even tell when I goof the kanji stroke order??
I honestly don’t know the answer and I felt the same way when I first started learning japanese too. But now that I spend more time writing kanji, it feels like an art form.
ik its your talking bout kanji but its similar to chinese characters and my chinese teacher literally gets so mad if we write it in the wrong stroke order I legit don't get how thats important
頑張って!🎉

I think you’d fit in just fine! Everyone in my classes were in their mid/late twenties and early/mid thirties except for a few people.
Thank you :)
Do you use the note to the textbook?
The worksheets we get correspond with the textbook
