Made this farm today. Make sure to grab more glass and buttons than stated and you’ll also need 5-7 repeaters, a redstone block, and a sticky piston tat wasn’t listed in materials. This worked so well for me. After running it for 30 seconds, I got 19 full stacks plus 30. Super happy with this farm and I appreciate Oink Oink for creating it as well as sharing it with us Bedrock users.
@@Edulz0 hmm that’s strange. I’d say when you are going to start it back up again, go check to make sure you only have the 1 row of sand, I’ve found when there’s two it won’t work properly. Other than that maybe run it for a little longer? I usually run my timer on my phone so I don’t run it too long but maybe you need to run it a little longer.
Of course, I grabbed half a deserts sand to drain the area around an ocean monument. And the day I finish collecting it all, they make a sand duper video. 😂 I am not kidding.
if you dont like logging out too just build this in the nether and go through a portal and then come back through it works the same way just no logging out for people who have big worlds that take awhile to load

If you don’t wanna download the texture pack all you have to do to find chunks is divide your X and Z coordinates by 16 if they both do NOT equal a decimal you are on the north west corner of a chunk then build out 15 blocks in the east then in the south 15 to find the cardinal directions you can use a locator map and then connect the square and it should if you did it right be a 16x16 chunk hope this helps! 😅
*For those the duper is not functioning in a single mode or a realm* Try adding more repeaters so that the redstone signal reaches the duper with more time intervals. Then, turn on the lever and do few minutes of afk, and immediately save and exit right after you turn off the lever.
I’ll have to try that cause for me the farm is really inconsistent sometimes it duplicates the sand sometimes it doesn’t when it does tho it only seems to work for the first tick or two than it stops working so this might fix it Yeah so uh turns out my simulation distance was at 6 bit of a bruh moment the extra repeaters actually make the farm faster so still a win
Nvm this is the best farm ever, if anyones isnt working, turn your simulation chunks to 4 by leaving the world, going into the edit world hud (the pencil icon) and go into game settings, then down to simulation chunks. It completely fixed it, this farm is very heavy duty, i turned it on for about 10 seconds and got a shuljer box full of sand, im gonna make it half sand, half gravel to make white concrete for a megabase. THANK YOUUUUU
Could just use concrete powder lol, also it still works with 6, 8, 10 sim distance you just have to do 7 long instead of 5 9 long 11 long etc. Basically just 2 chunks longer and it'll work with any sim distance
OK, for anyone having trouble with this, like i did, tinkering with it for days, changing every setting you can think of or someone could suggest, redesigning it, changing things around, and still can't get it to work, move it. Change locations. I went to an ocean and went 130 blocks above ocean level with it. And it works beautifully. If your on a limited device, like my play station 4, do not run it for more than a minute. I timed out exactly 1 minute and it lagged so bad on single player i thought the game froze for about a minute after. It yielded 2207 sand blocks in a minute. This is a great design, thanks bud!
@Edulz0 This is one you may want to take to the general comments section instead of replies to my solution. I haven't come across that problem myself, and I'm on Play Station. With that said, though, I suggest copying your world, going into creative, and testing out a different location. That's what finally cured all my problems. I went out so I was over 500 blocks away from any other structure anywhere. No Villages, no redstone machines, etc. I don't know why, but those seem to screw things up. I may have gone further than necessary, but it worked. Also, the first time I built it, I built it in a river Biome. River Biome also seem to screw things up for some reason. I also built facing west the first time, and east the second time. Idk if that found cause problems, but like I said, it worked the second time. Another problem I saw when I built it the first time was that I placed the lightning rods/end rods one block to high, which caused problems too. And that's not exactly the clearest shot in the video, but they should be level with the pistons, not level with the sand. Let me know how it turns out. Don't give up on it, just keep tinkering and you'll get it eventually.
I have a much more useful tip for finding a chunk, use a level 1 default map, you just go the corner of the map, and from there, place a 16 by 16 square(It has to be 16 by 16 even, don’t let the coordinates mess with you), if you want the center of that map, repeat the process diagonally. Note: the center of the aforementioned map will not be one chunk, but the 4 corners of 4 chunks at the center.
Tip: if you do this and see the sand is going to the lever I recommend putting a sign in the block left to the lever so some stacks don't get stuck and make at least 3-4 double chests
I build one farm like this before that was pretty hard to build and it failed i was pretty disappointed but i find this farm that was pretty similar to the old one i build so i decided to rework it using the old material and the item in the vidio and it works thank you so much for this tutorial man 😂🎉🎉

Yes , it still does in current version realms, After logging out, you have to restart the client server by doing update resources pack or behaviour pack, just making a server get refreshed And also make sure you as a owner realms, is the only player online. So just now, it depends on the owner of realms, my realms member can't even use this, it just the owner

Pro tip: if you dont feel like getting silk touch for packed ice and beating the games just for endrods you should try the following trust me ive tried this and it works. For packed ice you just use normal blocks all you hve to do is a little bit of running to the machine and it'll just be there. For endrods, just use lightning rods. Note: this dupe works on blocks thats affected by gravity like anvils and even dragon eggs

You also need more buttons and way more glass than the list says, and one more lever for the clock. Also you can use lightning rods instead of end rods.
For anyone wondering, this still works in 1.21 You can use any block instead of packed ice but you would need to go to the machine to colect the sand. If you are doing so then dont make the water bridge cause it would be useless then. And you can use lightning rod instead of end rod, dunno if chain works

Tested in 1.21.2 for single player worlds and I STRONGLY suggest you set a timer and only run it for maximum 30 seconds on Nintendo Switch, it will lag hard otherwise. Very, very overpowered. Also, lightning rods DO work in place of end rods.
Tip for Realms.. I would adhere to all the recommended steps mentioned.. But I found that flying away at least a few chunks away from the Farm and returning to the AFK spot, works better than exiting the world and rejoining. I can even let the farm spam for more than a few minutes and get at least half a double chest full of sandstone.. There is more Lag.. but I have the older Xbox one S and it works on the realm. . . but it could just be me.. the usual method does as intended.. but It seems like.. it only works for me in the Afternoon.. I thought maybe it cause the rest of the Family is using the Wifi and so it might hinders my connection.. which might aid to the Lag.. idk.. but FLying away works every time for me

ur giving the wrong amount of materials and your step by step is off, your placing water and buttons where they should not be and then cut the video and change it and not tell us having us deal with the problem and count block for block from your mistake
If the sand falls out in the back, it worked for me to extend the ice, lever, fence gate one block. So four ice, four rows of levers and three rows of lower fence gates and the last one raised as in the video. Then all the sand is collected
Yes but make sure if you done dupe the sand go to the copper on top and remove the sand, and all can work properly but you have to remove it a lot of you using copper rod
i'm having the same issue on my realm. As soon as I enter the chunks, i see the sand start to fall (meaning it worked) and then all of a sudden all the duped blocks disappear. Let me know if you have figured this out yet.

Either do a wool farm and get an addon that allows you to craft string from wool or get a spider farm. Bedrock Tweaks has an addon for crafting string from wool.

I made it but its not working. My simulation distance is set to 4. Chunk is perfectly aligned. I checked everything but not working. The sand does get duplicated and breaks but doesnt become an item. Please suggest what can i do to fix it .

In My case I used only 7-8 redstone repeater maybe more less than it. Signal was delaying to reach at the piston then sand started to falling down that's why I will suggest you to use at least 10-12 repeater
If it’s not working for you guys try turning down your simulation chunks as that will make it were it’s not loaded all the way and will fix most problems
Probably, if u build it in nether,Then you won’t have to go back to the world, but you’ll just have to go to the desert. There are also bugs for placing water there)
Im now building this farm and i noticed that some unities of the block u have tu use are completely wrong, other are instead missing. U have tu use more than 400 glass blocks, 1 sticky piston, 7 repetitors and 1 redstone block
Worked well in 1.21 Reminder : Make sure your simulation distance is 4 if you follow the build in the video , and if you are using simulation distance 6 or 8 , extend the chunk on your farm by 1 according to your simulation distance
Works perfectly on 1.5 gb big realm with ps5 on simulation distance 4 ,although there isnt that much lag, the game is still calculating after you caught the sand, coz i couldnt open shulkers nor my inventory , so i recommend to restart the realm again

i followed the video bu for some reason when i go to collect the sand it drops and breaks from the levers however it doesn't drop the sand as an item

ur giving the wrong amount of materials and your step by step is off, your placing water and buttons where they should not be and then cut the video and change it and not tell us having us deal with the problem and count block for block from your mistake

I built this farm in mcpe 1.21 but it's giving me just 1 - 4 or 8 - 10 stacks of sand once after every rejoin can someone please tell the solution 😭
Came here for this. I was way short on glass and the repeaters aren't even mentioned. Also saw that the button placement on the ice was off as well
If the sand falls out in the back, it worked for me to extend the ice, lever, fence gate one block. So four ice, four rows of levers and three rows of lower fence gates and the last one raised as in the video. Then all the sand is collected

Yes but make sure if you done dupe the sand go to the copper on top and remove the sand, and all can work properly but you have to remove it a lot of you using copper rod

You can use a hopper pulse timer and customize the time in place of the lever so you don't cause so much lag and give it a button starter.

i'm having the same issue on my realm. As soon as I enter the chunks, i see the sand start to fall (meaning it worked) and then all of a sudden all the duped blocks disappear. Let me know if you have figured this out yet.

Can you do a string farm?
Either do a wool farm and get an addon that allows you to craft string from wool or get a spider farm. Bedrock Tweaks has an addon for crafting string from wool.

Maybe check lightning rods, you can place them sideways as well

@@crisnevin7934 well it might be in on PC so it works well maybe try looking at pauses in the video that shows most of the farm to compare to yours and if you have a error it could mess it up

I afk'd for a minute and got 2287 (almost 36 stacks) sand. OP farm!
I made it but its not working. My simulation distance is set to 4. Chunk is perfectly aligned. I checked everything but not working. The sand does get duplicated and breaks but doesnt become an item. Please suggest what can i do to fix it .

Works just as showed in the video. I used sand, gravel, concrete powder, and anvils, and they all duped perfectly. Great tutorial.

In My case I used only 7-8 redstone repeater maybe more less than it. Signal was delaying to reach at the piston then sand started to falling down that's why I will suggest you to use at least 10-12 repeater

If it’s not working for you guys try turning down your simulation chunks as that will make it were it’s not loaded all the way and will fix most problems

also i did it without the texture pack just find a block with y and x cordinate multiple of 16 and build starting to this block a 16x16
Another way to see chunks borders without mods is seeing if you x and z cords are 0 0 or divisible by 16

Im now building this farm and i noticed that some unities of the block u have tu use are completely wrong, other are instead missing. U have tu use more than 400 glass blocks, 1 sticky piston, 7 repetitors and 1 redstone block

Reminder : Make sure your simulation distance is 4 if you follow the build in the video , and if you are using simulation distance 6 or 8 , extend the chunk on your farm by 1 according to your simulation distance

Works perfectly on 1.5 gb big realm with ps5 on simulation distance 4 ,although there isnt that much lag, the game is still calculating after you caught the sand, coz i couldnt open shulkers nor my inventory , so i recommend to restart the realm again

You don't need a texture pack - you can use Chunkbase and it'll tell you at what coordinates chunks start and end

This looks like a good farm for TNT to easily search netherite but I don't like to play with dupers

I think mojang have patched this because it isnt working. I did it exactly how it is in the video and the pistons are moving fine but there isnt any sand being produced

The end rods (or you can use lightning rod) and the fences are used to hold and duplicate the blocks, the levers are for breaking it.
