9:20 *Tries to think of an excuse to leave an uncomfortable situation* "Oh no...I need to..grab my tea bags, from my room." The most British excuse I have ever heard for leaving a conversation.😂
Here's my scariest solo-travelling story, not on the same topic but it might help someone: I went solo backpacking around europe this January, I was 18 also. It was my first day in Vienna so I didn't know the city at all. I used public transportation to get around, always using google maps. My phone died as I was trying to get to my airbnb at around 5 PM, it was already getting dark. I had a powerbank that was also dead so I started panicking. I spent over two hours trying to find my way back and I couldn't. Keep in mind, I'm a very anxious person, this was a nightmare. It was pitch black outside and really cold, very few people walking around. I started planning where and how I would spend the night. I decided to start asking people for directions to a police station and this woman tells to go to a restaurant, at the third one I went to one of the employees let me use his charger. I was able to find my way back to the airbnb. I gave him 5€, that guy saved my life haha So, moral of the story, always make sure your phone is charged I guess hahah also, if you are in trouble don't be afraid to talk to people and ask for help :)
Yeeees, this is my worst nightmare, I couldn't do much without my phone, I would probably be too scared to leave the hotel (well, maybe I would walk around it). Good that you found help!
Vienna and other cities have free maps of the city, from the airport and similar places. Keep one with you with the U-Bahn station or similar closest to your accommodation marked. Locals will help you find it if you can show them. It is easier to see on a paper map
I travelled all around Europe when I was probably around 18/19 too (I’m 25 now) and it was honestly the best experience of my life. I went with my friend and although we did have some awkward encounters and things did go wrong, I’m so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and we ended up visiting 6 countries in a month. It’s definitely an experience I’ll cherish forever ☺️
I went interrailing at 16 with my explorer unit and it was so amazing. Honestly one of the best experiences of my entire life. It was about £1000 and that included all the hostels and food and activity money, as well as money for fun things.
hammertapping huh? you must not have seen the endless support Jade provides to the black community and we love her for it. Enlighten me on what you have done for the black lives matter movement, and posting black squares on Instagram with a hashtag doesn’t count😂
@hammertapping how do you know?? what did she do?? I've watched her video on this topic and have to disagree with you. she is very intelligent, supports the movement, and seems very aware of the work the white community needs to do in order to address racism. and she is open to learning more. so unless you have evidence....stop trolling
@hammertapping I- how? she uses her platform for nothing but good, seems very aware of her privledge, and has clearly educated herself. I don't mean for this to come across as me attacking you, I'm just genuinely confused? why do you feel this way?
hammertapping What tf have I just read😂 firstly please work on your ability to form coherent sentences so I can actually understand what you are saying💀 Secondly you have claimed to have done absolutely nothing for the black lives matter movement, attack someone who has played an active role in using a platform to support. You mention about how she is “enjoying the fruits of racism” but she has clearly shown that she is aware of the privilege she has and isn’t oblivious to her opportunities. Instead of crying about the privilege that white people have, why don’t you help actively bring social change. As black people, we dont berate other races when we ourselves are dealing with systemic racism. Are you even a black person dude because this whole comment screams entitlement from you😂
Would love love love a video on planning your gap year! Even just one particular segment of it like Australia or solo travel/Europe, research, finance or whatever you fancy! Or even a general tips & advice video on what you know/learned I would love to see. Currently planning my year abroad in Australia & planning to do a gap year in a couple of years when I graduate so any of your thoughts would be so appreciated!! :)
You may want to check out Holly Gabrielle. She's another British RUclipsr who backpacked Australia. Holly is a planner, so her videos would be instructive and/ or helpful.
My scariest solo travel story: I was in Bali and got an Uber to get from one accommodation to the next. The Uber driver kept asking me about myself (which was totally ok, at first it was just small talk) but then out of the sudden he asked: “so you are here all alone?” and I was like “yeah.. I am”. I didn’t think much about it but now I know that you shouldn’t admit that to a stranger. always pretend you have your boyfriend or sb waiting for you somewhere. Then he said in a really sketchy way: “Bali is a dangerous place for women alone. you shouldn’t be here alone. no boyfriend?” he wouldn’t stop talking about it so I told him I had friends on the island who were waiting for me at my next accommodation. Honestly in that moment it felt so sketchy hearing him say things like that and being trapped in a car with him but shortly after I realized that he was probably just genuinely concerned for me. I even tipped him at the end. Honestly every scary thing that has ever happened to me while solo traveling happened only in my head but not for real.. we all have common sense and should act based upon that, then we’ll be fine :)
Hey Indonesian here, I'm sorry you had this experience. It's quite common for uber/taxi drivers to express concern like this. I don't believe he meant it in a creepy way. Sexual assault is unfortunately quite common in Indonesia and people are very aware of it and scared for others. I have only had one very creepy experience with a taxi driver once in Jakarta (and my mom was with me!) but that was it. Just try not to give too much personal info/what you plans are.
this exact thing happened to me when I was solo backpacking new zealand - an older guy made me feel very uncomfortable in a group situation in a small and family run hostel, I complained to the owner after (only once I was convinced by the people I was with that it wasn't my fault, after thinking it was me being intrusive when actually I was just trying to be friendly). I remember shaking, and being so anxious that I would see him again. It was so scary, it's very real and it's a good thing to know if you're considering going solo travelling anywhere, especially as a female ❤️
I love the honesty of this series! When I was in Nepal we had a creepy guy in the hotel we were staying in. He worked at the hotel and used to come and just sit in our private room (where there were only a couple of us) and talk to us. He then gave us gifts like broken notebooks and packs of cards in plastic bags and it was just all a bit odd! (I was with a group at this time) and when we were chilling in the evenings and dancing he used to come and sit in the middle of the room and watch us. We had to stop when he started to film us all dancing on his phone. It was just all a bit odd really!
Jade is so well spoken, she is beautiful inside and out and deserves the world for how hard she works academically. My daughter watches you and ever since she has had the highest grades in all of her classes
i had a very similar thrush medication purchase experience with a french speaking pharmacist once as well. there were like 4 female and 1 male assistants at the pharmacy and it was of course my luck to get the male one who couldn't have been older than 20. i have no idea how pharmacies work but i'm pretty sure he was a student learning on the job. that alone took me aback. furthermore, i can speak french but had extremely limited vocabulary for this kind of stuff, and the guy just couldn't understand my problem for like 5 minutes and kept searching for answers on his computer as i kept repeating in french that my vagina itches. he got it in the end and i had a good laugh at my embarassed self after i left.
Omg I lived in France for a year and had a similar situation so I just wrote what I needed to say on a piece of paper and put the paper on the counter😭 it worked though ahaha
These Gap year stories are giving me lifee😂 and the hype music at the end literally makes my day. I know you try to be a more environmentally conscious person, and I want to take steps to do so too, there arent many thrift shops in India. Could you make a video on part of your minimalism series how you research which brands are more sustainable and which brands to avoid.
I'm loving the candid vibe these videos have. Honestly I could listen to you tell these random stories all day, really putting me in the mindset to go travelling after school.
I LOVE solo-travelling! However on my first trip alone, I was 18, I booked myself a mixed-hostel room in Milan, I was in there with 4 men (2 guys were cool, 1 guy was “neutral”, and 1 guy was suuuper creepy). But instead of asking to change rooms, I packed my bags, when I realized the 2 cool guys were leaving and returned home 1 day earlier than I had planned. Even though this was my first solo-travel experience, I met so many friendly people, and I encourage everyone to do so!! just listen to your gut feeling!!
That poem made me feel like I was there, especially with the music 😍🌥🌥 so talented!! T_T also both those stories made me giggle so much hahaha 😂 More of these please! I have had a similar "creepy" experience which is a bit sad tbh.. I feel like almost every girl has atleast one.
When I went to Tokyo by myself I was lost on my way to finding the train back to my hostel in this really busy shopping mall/ subway station. This bloke grabbed my arm and started saying I should come with him and I escaped and ran down the hallway while he was shouting at me. Thankfully he gave up pretty quickly tho lol.
The few times I travelled alone in Argentina/Chile as an 18 year old I had quite a few situations like this: 1. I was in the South of Chile waiting for my friend to pick me with all my bags and some guy pulled up in a white van (!!), offered me a ride and would NOT take no for an answer until I faked getting a call from my friend. 2. In a hostel in Argentina, a guy asked me if I wanted to try his "Brazilian meat". When I said no he pointed to a drink next to me and said he thought it was mine😳 3. Another dude tried to make me drink his vodka and kept pressuring me until another dude came and made sure I was ok 4. I was sitting on a park bench eating my lunch when some guy came up and asked me to kiss him (wtf!). I just said no and walked away. Honestly, I would not recommend travelling alone in South America as a girl, this was literally only over a few days when I wasnt with anyone else. But most of the time was amazing😁
QUEEN HAS POSTED AGAIN😍😭 these gap year stories are so so inspiring especially because I’m going to take one soon so thank you for these informative and interesting stories :)
Loved this Jade!! When I was 18 and solo-travelling through Australia, I ended up in a Surfers Paradise hostel and was put in a shared room with just me and this creepy older guy. He must've been late thirties, extremely keen to chat to me (which itself is fine), but kept calling me 'babe' every other sentence. I slept one night in that room and got so creeped out I asked to change rooms the next day. Initially, the receptionist said all their rooms were full, but as soon as I explained the situation she instantly changed her tune and found me an all-girls room. Safe to say I was relieved haha!
Hi! I love your videos! I've been on an Interrail trip thanks to discover EU last summer, and had a gap year right after. Just before quarantaine, I've been travelling alone in Poland, in Wroclaw, and there was such a creepy man as well, following me to the living room in my hostel. He freaked me out when he turned on the TV, raised the volume up and shut the door, knowing I was eating alone in the living room at this time... I honestly finished my dish quickly and went out as quick as possible! As I was doing the dishes in the kitchen next door, he silently followed me near the sink and touched my shoulder, probably not meaning to scare me but guess what, he did scare me. I ended up going back to my room and just relax there. Thanksfully he wasn't sharing my dorm. I thank you so much for your videos, they helped me go on solo trips since I'm 18! Have a wonderfull day and be safe!
Last year me and my (female) friend were in Triest. Two guys were following us and made us feel uncomfortable. We told them to leave. But they just hid around the corner and then followed us again. Our main goal was to find a way that these men would not find out were our hostel is. So we got into a random hotel and told the concierge what was happening and he was like "no problem, my shift is over in ten minutes and then I can accompany you home" After a few minutes we couldn't see the two guys any more in front of the hotel, so we didn't call the police. After the ten minutes, an older concierge comes in and we explain the situation and he says to us "you can't be here if you are not a guest" and "haha yeah right. Italian men don't do that, there is no problem". so the older guy would not let the younger take us home and just throw us out. We then just got very fast to the hostel. Nothing happened but I'm still angry.
I had a similarly creepy experience in a hostel smack bang in the middle of London. I’m an Irish 23 y/o girl traveling solo to London for a few days. I book a room in a 8 bed mixed dorm room. Everything’s fine until I get to the room and there are 4 beds occupied by only men. 3 were in their 20’s and one was in his mid 40’s. I felt so uncomfortable being the only girl in the room, especially at night. The 40 y/o was fine, no problem with him except the snoring. But the 3 20 y/o’s stared at me constantly as though they had never seen a girl before. Nothing bad happened but I know that if the guys wanted to take advantage of me they definitely would have been able to. I swore to myself after that experience I would never put myself in that potentially harmful situation ever again. You live and you learn. 💜
Same thing happened to me when I went solo traveling in London at 18. I booked a cheap hostel, with no female only dorms left, so I got stuck in an 8 bed mixed dorm with 7 guys probably in their 20s. Most likely nothing was going to happen to be, but I was very uncomfortable. The next morning I got out of there as soon as I could, then went to a slightly more expensive hostel that had a female only dorm available and had a wonderful rest of my trip.
A_ s it was really horrible and scary. But I’ve learned never to put myself in that situation again, and hopefully by sharing my experience it will save others from having to experiencing it themselves.
I love these stories. I've only ever travelled once, when I flew from the States to Australia to see family and friends. So I was only alone for quite a short period of time, but I loved being alone. I felt really free and calm, and even when there were challenges and stressful things, figuring out the solutions and making it through whatever small hurdles came my way was all the more exciting because I'd done it by myself. That's why I like these behind-the-scenes, because it's fun to hear about how you dealt with all of these things by yourself. It's relatable and really inspiring. Gosh I hope I can travel again soon.
Creepiest guy I met while traveling: me and my friend were in a hostel at an 8 people mixed dorm. In the dorm we found a bag not belonging to anyone in the room (we asked them) and told it at the reception, and I was assigned a bed the first night where there was no mattress whatsoever so I went down the the reception to change beds as almost everything in the room was free that night anyways, no problem. Next day a German couple arrived, one of them was also assigned that bed without a mattress, I don't know anymore if they officially changed beds at the reception or not. But it became later at night and we thought me, my friend, that couple and two others would be everyone in the room. I had some of my stuff laying on an empty bed (nothing too important) because I'd thought it would stay empty, but later that night I woke up and saw someone sleeping in the bed, I didn't notice him coming in and he had nicely moved my stuff away (this obviously isn't the creepy guy). So down at the ground floor of the hostel there is a bar which was open until 3 I guess (we were at the fourth floor so the music didn't bother us) but at 3 o'clock an obviously drunk man came up, making a lot of noise and we explained him that all beds were full at that moment apart from the one without a mattress. So we were like go back to the reception (which is open 24/7) and ask for a mattress and other stuff, or (preferably) go to another room. But he was probably too drunk to care about it and went up in that bed anyways with his bag. He continued making noises, singing, said some very weird stuff, don't remember all he said but one thing I remember is "look out for me, I'm dangerous", said his name very often, starting snoring very loudly and obviously fake, then stopped snoring and continued etc. He often sat up straight in his bed looking down (I was sleeping in a bed not too far from me so that scared me). It took a while but eventually he stopped making noises and we could peacefully sleep (apart from still being a bit uncomfortable sleeping in a room with him). The next morning when we woke up someone was showering in the only bathroom (there was no separate toilet), so I thought shall I get changed here in the room with that creepy guy? I also thought that he'd probably be fast asleep for still a while so almost started changing into my clothes but then he suddenly sat up straight again! So I decided to get changed under the sheets of the bed haha, we also later spoke to those Germans and that creep also slept close to the woman and also kinda threatened her and told her how dangerous he was. In the end the creep luckily didn't touch us or anything and somehow he was also around for breakfast and even left the hostel before we did.
Vaginal thrush is incredibly common and very uncomfortable but nearly always very easy to treat. A lot of people go untreated for an unnecessary amount of time, risking complications, because they don’t know what it is or because they are scared or embarrassed. So thank you for talking so openly about it Jade 👍. There really is NOTHING to be embarrassed about. I really think that open conversations are a huge step towards normalising uncomfortable topics about intimate health, and ultimately increasing health and well-being. That being said, it is obviously up to every individual what they want to share about their bodies. But if you are having any symptoms in that region, please talk to your pharmacist, a doctor or another healthcare professional. Sorry for the ramble.. just wanted to show my support and appreciation of you sharing a very relatable story! /junior doctor
agreed!! if we were all more open, women would get more smear tests (& cancer would be caught earlier!), conversations about contraception would ensure people are more aware of their options, we wouldn’t feel ashamed about periods etc etc.
I got to know you thanks to your video of learning Dutch in a single week and i must say, I'm pretty amazed on how positive you are. I got kinda creeped out on the story you told but that little piece from you travel diary... just...wow.
My nightmare story from my interail: I was in a medium-sized town in Austria, my hostel was a on the outskirts of the town(25 minutes walking, about 10 cycling to the main town square). I get there walking, then rent a bike and go around exploring. I come across a random, FREE concert in the square. I think "wow amazing", lock my bike and sit down to enjoy the concert. After a few minutes it starts raining, I had forgotten my umbrella in the hostel, so I get up to leave and get back before the rain gets worse, but an old lady next to me stops me and offers me an extra umbrella she had. I thank her and stay until the end, while it's getting darker and the rain is getting worse and worse. The concert ends, I return the umbrella to the old lady, and get my bike to leave. At this point, I can't use my phone to find my way back, because it's raining so much I can't even unlock it. I have a good sense of direction, so I say "no problem, I'll just follow roads that go in that direction, I'll eventually get there". Well, I end up on a very big road, that was definitely NOT MEANT for bikes. In the rain, in the dark. I was sure I was going to die. And there was no way for me to go back or get out of this road. I literally got there by taking a turn while a was on a bike lane, I don't understand how there wasn't anything stopping cyclists from doing that. Well, eventually, after about 5 minutes on this road, I managed to get off the side of the road and find my hostel, but it was scary.
I love hearing travel stories that you can relate to! I went interrailing with a friend at 19 and was lucky enough to come across not 1 but 2 creepy males! The typical 40 year old creep was a 'already staring at you when you wake up' type...we love that...and the second was a seemingly nice at first 20 year old who cannot take no for an answer! Despite this, these occasions are very rare and a vast majority of those you meet in hostel rooms are so so lovely! I also had pharmaceutical difficulties where what I believe was an allergic reaction to sun cream resulted in me having to ask for eye drops in Vietnamese, Czech and Spanish throughout my gap year!
jade please please PLEASE keep these videos coming, they are so entertaining and fun to watch!! your storytelling and personality just make these even better!!
It's so weird hearing that you had such a similar experience to me in Rome. I had a creepy guy in a tiny hostel and he was literalllyy touching himself in front of us, I feel your pain. Amazing to hear that you havent let it bother you though! Also, I love your videos :)
Loved watching this this video Jade, thank you! I worked as a receptionist in an Italian hostel over the summer and completely agree with you - first impressions on people are key, and it’s so important to listen to your gut!
Jade, you are so articulate and brave to share your stories, and talk about things that most people would be way to embarrassed to talk about. Thankyou so much for the amazing video and for being such an amazing role model :))
This reminded me of a very unpleasant experience I had:(. I traveled to London on my own and I met a creepy guy at St Paul's Cathedral! It was my first night in London and it made feel it wasn't a good idea to travel alone. He was being "friendly" in a very suspicious way. We left the cathedral at the same time and he was trying to convince me to go out with him because it was his last night in the city and wanted to have some fun... I just said no and literally ran down the stairs, I fell and he followed me to ask if I was ok. I didn't even look at him and went into the first coffee shop I saw and stayed there for the next few hours! Anyway, the rest of the trip went fantastic and I don't regret it at all :)
Jade your youtube channel is so inspiring! i loved the poem, even the creepy story because is so real and also it's like an advice. Love your content! keep going :) i hope you also make a storytelling of your trip to japan 🇯🇵
Hi Jade! I'm from Rome and throughout this video I was laughing and face palming a lot hahah. I could write a book about the creeps that I constantly meet taking the bus or the metro or walking around. I love my city and I think it's very fascinating but on the other hand it's full of creeps and crap (literally). I hope you had a pleasant experience regardless❤️
It's so sad you don't feel safe in your own city. I'd heard stories about the harassment Italian women face in their day-to-day lives. Is it true that some Italian men don't take no for an answer?
@@MC-ko2mx It depends but I wouldn't say so. There's this joke that many people think it's (unfortunately) true and is that "when women say yes, they mean no, when they say no, they mean yes". Obviously it's a joke but they tend to think it's not far from the truth. Maybe they'll insist but eventually they surrender to the "no". The creeps I was referring to are mostly old men who have nothing better to do with their lives than harassing women. I just want to point out that the things I said cannot be applied for everyone, Italy is also full of friendly people who are ready to help you when you're struggling even if they've never met you (but again, even this doesn't apply for everyone).
I have a similar story.I went solo travelling for the first time at age 20 in budapest and stayed at a hostel. There was this guy that made me feel really uncomfortable but i was like okay i am just going to avoid him.I spend all day outside so there was no problem but at night i was at my hostel and one time he came and started getting really close and he started touching my septum,i was like whyyy did he think that this is ok and i asked him to not do that and he tried to kiss me i told him no please go and i went back to my room and i was so mad.He was much older than me i think he was at his 40's and i was not flirting or anything.Thank god the next day a new guy came at the hostel and he was the best,we walked the city and spend the rest of my time there together, super funny and respectful made me feel super safe and made the whole trip worth it,we still talk to this day. P.S.i had a thrush as well it was the worst
Ok dang, I was thinking how much is loove to go travelling with my friends but then you talked about how solo travelling is so good for yourself and dang I want to go alone. No matter how scary it is
Heey Jade !! i love your videos . I was wondering if you could make a video about how to approach people and make friends that would be so helpful to your fellow introverts . Lovely video btw !!❤️
I love this so much!! Yes we want more jade! I'm planning to go solo travelling around Europe too next year and love all your stories. Love from Australia
You're deffo in the right place then! Jade has the BEST travel content. I've just started a channel too and have posted a video all about how to plan an interrailing trip so that might be of interest to you!
your travel series made me want to solo travel so much! if uni wasn’t crazy at the end of the academic year then I was hoping to go this summer🥺 whenever I’m sad I rewatch your travel vlogs 🦋🦋 I hope you and the family and healthy & safe 💓💗💓💗
The most unsafe I felt when solo travelling (also was 18 at the time) was when I was in Dresden, Germany. Most of the city was fine, but the hostel I was at was in the 'Neustadt' (the newer part of the city), was right above a ton of bars, the vibe was super creepy... and the only girl in my room was really unfriendly and quite hostile. I remember honestly feeling like she might attack me/rob me in my sleep.. and I was so jumpy and nervous. Thankfully nothing happened, but I think I should have gone to speak to the hostel staff to ask to maybe change rooms. These things could be nothing, but it is always good to listen to how you feel and be cautious - even if the person who is making you uncomfortable is female! That was one incident in two weeks of travelling all over the place as a young, female, solo traveller. I made great friends and had a brilliant time every other place I stayed. Also, haha, I had to buy sanitary pads and the only store clerks that were available were male, and I was DYING!!!
@@STICKY_ Because? Yeah the country has a lot of poluttion and trash, but that's in the major cities. India has beautiful mountains up to 7500m+ (google Leh Ladakh!), jungles, ancient temples dating back to the 4rd century BC, backwaters (google Kerala!), beaches, and so on. If you're gonna spend weeks in Delhi or Calcutta, no you're not gonna enjoy it, but India is so much more.

would love a video on planning your gap year if you're ever motivated to go over that! I'm sure I'm not the only one :)
yes , give her 10k likes she deserve it .😍😍❤
Love your vids :)
I love the vid...you are so motivating . Keep up the great work you're doing😚❤
Yes would love a video on how you planned your gap year !!
9:20 *Tries to think of an excuse to leave an uncomfortable situation*
"Oh no...I need to..grab my tea bags, from my room."
The most British excuse I have ever heard for leaving a conversation.😂
Monthooooo
“I’m about to go boil my water for some tea”, literally the most British thing you can do in a hotel 😅
Jade’s travel diary - is basically poetry and is beautiful.
My travel diary - “and I had a piece of cake at xx cafe. It was good.”
“Bongiorno ur child has woken up” 😭😭😂😂😂😂🤣
Here's my scariest solo-travelling story, not on the same topic but it might help someone: I went solo backpacking around europe this January, I was 18 also. I gave him 5€, that guy saved my life haha
So, moral of the story, always make sure your phone is charged I guess hahah also, if you are in trouble don't be afraid to talk to people and ask for help :)
Yeeees, this is my worst nightmare, I couldn't do much without my phone, I would probably be too scared to leave the hotel (well, maybe I would walk around it). Good that you found help!
I would’ve gone straight back home😂😂😂
@@filmsbynix I can't imagine traveling without a phone, a lot of respect for the past generations
Vienna and other cities have free maps of the city, from the airport and similar places. Keep one with you with the U-Bahn station or similar closest to your accommodation marked. Locals will help you find it if you can show them. It is easier to see on a paper map
Don’t take public transport 😫😫
I was fully immersed! Excellent story teller!!! Also, the creepy music in the background = 🤩
"I don't know why I made that so snazzyy" - Jade 2020
i have wholly embraced my cringeworthy nature x
@@UnJadedJade Ahh well I feel like I'd say that lol, so you and me both pahah
I travelled all around Europe when I was probably around 18/19 too (I’m 25 now) and it was honestly the best experience of my life. I went with my friend and although we did have some awkward encounters and things did go wrong, I’m so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and we ended up visiting 6 countries in a month. It’s definitely an experience I’ll cherish forever ☺️
Was it super expensive?
How did u budget it etc
I went interrailing at 16 with my explorer unit and it was so amazing. Honestly one of the best experiences of my entire life. It was about £1000 and that included all the hostels and food and activity money, as well as money for fun things.
Lele M how long did you travel?
@@leilaslocumb9916 15 days. I went to Berlin, Poland (forgotten exactly where), Saltzberg, Prague, Saverne in France, and Paris
When are you going to publish a book? You're diary thingy is so beautifully written, we want moreee
Haha it’d be cool!
Now she is!
Wow that lil piece was written SO BEAUTIFULLY!!

hammertapping huh? you must not have seen the endless support Jade provides to the black community and we love her for it.
I don't mean for this to come across as me attacking you, I'm just genuinely confused? why do you feel this way?
hammertapping
What tf have I just read😂 firstly please work on your ability to form coherent sentences so I can actually understand what you are saying💀
Secondly you have claimed to have done absolutely nothing for the black lives matter movement, attack someone who has played an active role in using a platform to support.
Another Imogen! I'm an Imogen too and I don't meet many others!

😂😂
Omg I lived in France for a year and had a similar situation so I just wrote what I needed to say on a piece of paper and put the paper on the counter😭 it worked though ahaha
"I kept repeating in French that my vagina itches".
DEAD.
I am so in love with her way of narration I can't even-
Jades journal entry from Lille is so beautifully written. I’d love to hear her read more of her writing
These stories make a person feel like they're part of your circle
That “Einstein” description was ON POINT!!!
Who else clicked this so fast? 😂 it’s because we love Jade so much!
Everyone who comes across this video
me too!!
I'm loving the candid vibe these videos have. Honestly I could listen to you tell these random stories all day, really putting me in the mindset to go travelling after school.
“I’ve already sold my soul to the internet” haha you’re the best Jade
Your smile is contagious. The world need more people like you.
The few times I travelled alone in Argentina/Chile as an 18 year old I had quite a few situations like this:
When I said no he pointed to a drink next to me and said he thought it was mine😳
3. Another dude tried to make me drink his vodka and kept pressuring me until another dude came and made sure I was ok
Have a wonderfull day and be safe!
oh my gosh noooo thank you for sharing !!
"Buongiorno! Your child has woken up."
LOL xD
Literally same experience! I should’ve swapped rooms but didn’t!!
Charlotte Knight creepiest experience of my life. Never again!
That would be my worst nightmare 🥴🥴🥴omg I cannot even imagine
Jade you should definitely tell us more storytimes, you're really good at them!
@Nniikkii 1234 um.... what
Creepiest guy I met while traveling: me and my friend were in a hostel at an 8 people mixed dorm.
There is no way I would've slept 😳
Loving the story time videos Jade, also your curls are looking insanely good 🙌🏻
I loving this series so much already! Your poem at the start was amazing 👌🏼
Jade is such an amazing person! Each video she makes shows how intelligent she is :)
I remember watching your vlogs like it was the other day! Gosh can’t believe it’s been nearly 2 years 😱💗
I got to know you thanks to your video of learning Dutch in a single week and i must say, I'm pretty amazed on how positive you are.
4:18 I think someone needs to give her the talk
XD this made me laugh so much
your positive vibes are insane

Loved watching this this video Jade, thank you! I worked as a receptionist in an Italian hostel over the summer and completely agree with you - first impressions on people are key, and it’s so important to listen to your gut!
Travelling isn't always fun and games and this was a perfect example! Absolutely loving these travel stories. Looking forward for more!

Your little writing piece from when you were sitting on a park bench in Lille was beautiful ✨ Have you considered sharing more of your writing online?
Gosh, your gestures, emotions, tone, pacing, the music... You're such a brilliant storyteller! ✨
Why is no body talking about HOW BEAUTIFUL her writing is. Wow. She really did that. I love you Jade, you inspire me so much and I appreciate you.
Jade your youtube channel is so inspiring! i loved the poem, even the creepy story because is so real and also it's like an advice. Love your content! keep going :)

The thrush story killed me xD you are so brave! I never could've swallowed my pride enough to do that
i love that she is so honest - the thrush is very common but the italien barrier made me laugh
This reminds me a lot of Damon Dominique’s videos! I love them both, I’m definitely not complaining.
P.S.i had a thrush as well it was the worst
oh no no no no I’m sorry this happened 😖

YESS ANOTHER STORYTIME...love u Jadeee
I genuinly love this series!!♥ please make more vids like this, what a story!⭐
+the monologue(is it..?haha) at around 2:25 was absolutely beautiful💖
JADE THIS SERIES IS AMAZING!! I also loved the suspenseful music you put in 😂
I'm halfway through writing an essay... But this comes first okay 😂😂
sis i'm sending you all the luck with that essay !!
@@UnJadedJade thank youu 😂 xx
I went on a study abroad to India and also solo traveled around while there (then 21F) and honestly, solo traveling is so amazing.
Not in India 🤢
@@STICKY_ Because? Yeah the country has a lot of poluttion and trash, but that's in the major cities. India has beautiful mountains up to 7500m+ (google Leh Ladakh!), jungles, ancient temples dating back to the 4rd century BC, backwaters (google Kerala!), beaches, and so on. If you're gonna spend weeks in Delhi or Calcutta, no you're not gonna enjoy it, but India is so much more.
I just saw this your writing is so beautiful I'm so in awww xx
