@nicknackpaddywacks Thank you for your comment🙏 I still get teary-eyed as well (I sometimes would wonder whether I was the only one who did😊). Best wishes.
In my childhood I used to dream with this song, even though I didn't understand a sh** (I wasn't an English speaker yet). But, however. that was never any obstacle for me to enjoy purely the song, it always reminds where I came from and good days I shared with my grandma. She must be in a beautifully scenic place like that one!

i grew up on winnie the pooh vhs tapes and one day in 2020 out of the blue i remembered this song and looked it up because i hadnt heard it in years and cried the whole time because the nostalgia was so overwhelming. just did the same thing again so can i just say thank you for being so iconic with a two minute and thirty three second song that i still remember loving back in like 2011
Every time I watched this movie as a little child, I just waited for the credits to end to hear this song. I didn't even understand it since I'm a Finn but this just sounded so lovely.
I thank my mother for showing me all the Whiney the Pooh movies when I was a child. I really recommend showing this to your children as they grow up, the movies are so innocent, heartwarming, they entertain and teach some good valuable life lessons. This brings me back to when I was happy, very happy in my life.
Carly Simon, when I was 4 years old you make me cry with this song in that movie, now that I'm 16 years old it's the same thing, with your magical and beautiful voice, thank you, for making me feel happiest again, how I was when I was a child
Same here...Crying my eyes out, literally, while playing this repeatedly. Yes, exactly like what you said, crying for the nostalgia. My old best friends who I no longer see. Crying for those that will not come back anymore : (
Being an adult sucks doesn’t it, I just want to go back. Go back to not caring and not having to work every day of my life to survive😢 times were good back then.
This is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Carly looks like she's having so much fun here, just dancing around and singing and playing her guitar.
glad to see how we all cant help but cry at this, this is such a wonderful part of animation, storytelling, and just overall human history. God bless you who made theise wonderful characters
I was once little boy satified with a house bulit out of cardbord. Now I look in the mirror and see a large man who is worried about how he's going to take care of all those he loves.
This was my favorite movie as a kid I remember watching it a whole bunch if times and when they started their expedition I would sing along while marching around the coffee table . The good ol'days
Sometimes you don’t need therapy or psychologists to heal. Sometimes all it takes are a few good friends that stand with you and make you feel loved when nobody else does. Take care everyone ❤️❤️❤️
I watched Winnie the Pooh all while I was growing up, and right before lockdown started I was hospitalised and spent two weeks watching nothing but Winnie The Pooh, over and over again. I'm pretty sure it's a comfort thing, because whenever I listen to the songs or watch it I always end up feeling better. I came looking for this as I'm going through a really stressful few weeks cramming for exams, and I'm so glad I managed to find it. Thanks so much for this! Look, I know it was put up twelve years ago, but shut up. It will never stop helping.
I really want to hug her :( This song was so beautiful for me even though I didn't understand it when I was a child (I speak spanish) but it felt so comfortable and peaceful to listen to her... And it still does
If you cry when listening this all grow up, its because your inner child comes back from deep inside your memories and remember the gold old days, filled with whole happiness ~
Con 27 años y aun me siento tan bien y en paz al escuchar esta hermosa canción, felicidades por llenarnos de magia con esta grandiosa canción y melodía
This is where I was a child and crying non-stop to this movie and song. I didn’t ever understand English, but the melody was so touching. So glad I’m back to this song after more than 15 years
I still watch this, I get sad because as you get older and you notice that you wish you lived in tis little world and I used to watch this at the age of 4, I am now 13... It makes me realise how fast I've grown and I non-stop talk about Pooh Bear at school, and how my best character is Eeyore, and how I always used to think Piglet was a girl, that was the good days when everyone was nice to each other and you realise you want to live in a world this nice, no bad things, in their world there was barely a bad thing going on they'd never heard of terrorists, kidnappers and Robbers you name it! I've been watching the Xmas specials of Winnie The Pooh, and 'The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh' If only I could go back to when I was 4 years of age, I'd so totally treasure this more than how I did, scrap MC's and Rap music, this will always forever and more be my jam, and the quotes were so innocent yet had such a deep meaning... I love you, I love Winnie The Pooh, love everyone around you, and me... ~Taylor
Dude that just made me cry mad respect i also wish could be 5 again i miss being young im 13 im crying as im writing this thanks to winnie the pooh and the creator
Used to watch the movie a ton as a child in the back room at my moms work. Don’t even really remember the movie anymore but I remember a lady singing outside and loving the song
I’m turning 18 the day after tomorrow but I am crying the same way as I cried when I was about 5. I didn’t even understand the words ‘coz I’m Czech, but I’ve waited every time for this song in the end of the movie! Now, I’m listening to it third time in a row... it’s so touching, thank you Carly for this!❤️❤️

I haven't listened to this song for a long time. I kept watching The Tigger Movie a lot and my brother kinda snapped whenever I asked him to watch something that had to do with Winny the Pooh :P So Im happy to hear this again :)
I can't believe I remembered this song when I was 2. I always had a random glimpse of this in my memory everyday. Took me years to figure it out, but now I solved it and it was this song, just like I remembered it. Childhood, man, such sweet and great memories we made altogether.
It's winter 2006, you are with your parents on the sofa, school is closed for Christmas holidays and you are watching this. The world is beautiful, you trust in Santa and all it's fine.
I cry everytime I hear this song. It reminds me so much of my mother. When I was a child my most favorite movie was Piglet's Big Movie. I must have watched the tape so many times that it's unwatchable due to deterioration of overuse. My mother would always have such bubbling hospitality that reminds me of my salad days. Times were so much simpler but I love where I am today with my own son that will grow up on this amazing media.
Just showing this to my girlfriend who has never seen this and I used to watch this when I was little. I'm 24 now. She absolutely loves this song now and we're gonna watch it at some point soon.
watching this as a 2-3 year old is such a deep memory of mine! thank you mysterious lady with short blond hair and a guitar (who now i know is carly simon) for my childhood ❤️
I'm 15 now and this song is still epic. This was my favorite childhood movie and when I listen to this song, my childhood memories will be back and also when I sleep, I remember my old memories. And also it reminds me that it will back and says "Old But Gold"... Such a good old memories but when I listen to this song, I feel I definitely crying from my childhood memories... But don't worry all of our childhood memories will not disappear. Just always happy everyday😊
Just listened to this song again that I haven't heard in a long time which brings alot of memories since I grew up with Winnie the pooh. I went and saw this movie when it came out with my best friend that I've been friends with since kindergarden. I'm an adult and I had tears from listening to this song.
I fell in love with this song when I was watching Piglet's Big Movie when I was a toddler! I'm now 20 years old and I'm still in love with it til this very day!
At 77 this both uplifts and puts a tear in my eyes. My childhood; my daughter’s and granddaughter’s; such wonderful memories. Thank you A.A. Milne and Carly Simon.
This song brings tears to my eyes 💕 I watched the movie with my family back in the day, and tried to find this song for over a decade, since the melody was still in my mind.. The sweet power of music...😊😊
Carly Simon, it is 2019 and this song along with your smile is what is helping with my mental illness. This makes me so happy xx Thankyou Carly, thankyou so much 💖
I remember when my mom bought this movie for me. I used to repeat the last part many times just to hear this song again and again. The last week I woke up with the melody inside my head. 20 years later I'm still in love with this lovely song.
When I was young, I don't even appreciate this song. It was boring for me and now...it all changed. I found its worth and how deep the song is. I suddenly missed Winnie the Pooh. The days where I don't have to think anything else but to enjoy Winnie the Pooh. The old innocent me. I never thought that I'll actually search for this and think the good old days 💜
i just rewatched piglet's big movie today. i remember being 4-5 years old and watching this movie almost every day and hearing this song, i didn't pay much attention at that time because I couldn't understand the lyrics, english isn't my first language but today hearing this melody again brought me such joy and nostalgia i was silently crying in my room as i was watching it when my mom walked in and asked "are you watching winnie the pooh?" and i replied "yeah, do you remember this song??" "of course" she answered. i swear i couldn't even remember the existence of this song till it started playing in the movie. i am so happy that 13 years later I can experience this amazing feeling when im watching old cartoons such as winnie the pooh, piglet's big movie, the tigger movie, etc. they were my childhood.
I don't think anyone could have done this song as good as Carly Simon did it. And having the video of her playing, singing and dancing around increases the entertainment value by a 1000%. So special.
I rewatched this film and now listening to this song I'm getting so many emotions hit. This is so beautiful and the film was so well done too. I don't think there are any disney films in my mind that can top of anything Winnie the Pooh related and the books are all beautiful too. 💕
Nostalgia pura
I'm 22 now and watching this again after so long brings back so many good childhood memories, the nostalgia is so big it's almost making me sob
Same
22 yo and same

Happy 20th Anniversary to this movie and this fantastic song.
I miss how Disney was back then. Piglet gave us so much wholesome love.
Same here...The 1990s and early 2000s was a special time that ended up left in the dust with 3D animated stuff..But at least these films exist.
Am I the only one who cries because this is literly my childhood?

My favorite childhood movie. I cry every time that listen to this. It's my safe place.
Carly wrote some incredible tunes for "Piglet's Big Movie"! I love listening to this album.
when I was 1
She’s a legend. I’m a big fan
@@martingardner9124 Call me an odd one out, but any day I probably would take Carly Simon over Alan Menken as a songwriter!

Man, my sister just watched Piglet's big movie, I almost cried because of the memories.. Screw the rap these days! This music is prefect!

MEMORIES ☹️❤️
I am kindergarten teacher and this songs help the young ones form good friendships. Thank you so much.
Dang has it rlly been that long......this is my childhood song
I love so much this song, one of my favorites movies
I used to rewind this over and over on our vhs tape I loved it so much, still my favorite song on the whole soundtrack
Como olvidar esta hermosura de música, 7 años tenía la primera ves que la escuché, con 2w ahora, después de 14 años después, es revivir mi infancia
I rewatched this film and now listening to this song I'm getting so many emotions hit. This is so beautiful and the film was so well done too. I don't think there are any disney films in my mind that can top of anything Winnie the Pooh related and the books are all beautiful too. 💕
I am proper weeping to this , this gets my soul , it’s like my child self is giving me a big hug , I missing her so much ! Xx
This song fills me with so much overwhelming nostalgia :')
I think this is my first favorite song!
