I'm convinced they're African monkeys 😂 but they're actually the Ravens.... I've already been warned at my winter cabin I'm going to be hearing small children screaming in pain in the forest but not to get scared. The lynx is just killing the rabbits.
@@Life_Is_A_Highway- There are a couple acres of woods out the door of our condo building. In the middle of the night we hear those screams as coyotes are enjoying a snack.
It's got to be creepy getting woken up by these sounds lol I don't really think it's going to be that bad because I see the next snowshoe hare boom is due in 2027 or 2028, so I'm actually not expecting any sounds this winter... I am looking forward to the hare boom because that means all the lynx come back around.
Relaxing huh!😂 I really don't like those noisy whatever's. But as long as it's not dark out. Oh wait, winter is mostly dark. Film that for us. Might be a horror mini movie!😊
@jaybee608 haha before I moved in here I honestly thought hearing the sounds that we all know exist in the forest was going to be creepy. Especially at night.... during the daytime it winds up being pretty interesting what you hear, and before Darkness arrives the forest animals have become silent. It is just dead silence in the dark. You don't hear a bird chirp or a squirrel move. And my guess in the winter is because of how cold it's going to get, and the way the snow muffles any small sounds, it's going to even be more quiet, if possible. But we will find out in just a few months 🙂

This was a particularly loud afternoon so I was lucky to be out there at the right time
