I've never seen someone strop a razor. Smart. The sound of leatherwork is quite pleasant. Much better than listening to someone slurp noodles!
Haha! I jave a TikTok I saw today of slurping noodles! I used to just change razor blades like they where free. Then I discovered if you keep them stropped, they last for a really long time.
@@KillingerUSA Yes. Beyond saving a few bucks here and there, I've found that all my razors NEED a stropping, even when new. Right out of the box, it changes them from being "razor" sharp to the next level of what I really want,... "Scary" sharp!
That hole punch tool is great!
Works great and does a bunch of other jobs as well. It sets snaps so perfect!

I'm totally a suspender guy, have been for years. I really like the look of the leather y-back suspenders, and I love those clips onto your belt loops. But my hangup is the single clip at the back pulls up the middle back seam on my jeans and continuously gives me wedgie. I hate that. Going looser just drops the crotch, and *still* wedgies me when I bend over. Tried some different ones, Noconas, imports - all the same. Side-clip suspenders, with the belt clips, seems like the way to go for me.

How do you calculate the lengths? Is there a set length or just a lot of adjustability built in ? Do you find it cheaper to buy it by the halves on your hides ? i have been buying it by 12" x 24" sheets and have 2 sets so far and more then half left to make more !
It took me a lot of trial and error to come up with the length. I wanted a 1 size fits all without to much extra. Yes, it's cheaper to buy a side (half).
I was thinking of your suspenders just the other day, getting to that age in my life...and found myself wanting a set for my tool belt. I found a cheap set at Menards but was wondering if you have ever done a padded set or would be willing to make it for the weight of a tool belt. The one I purchased is ok but I would like to make some changes. Love your work. 👊🏼🧡🔥👍🏼

I’m fairly new to leather work . Is your side of wicket and Craig 8-9oz or 10-12 oz. Appreciate your help. I really like your punch setup. What else can it be used for?
This I used 8-9 oz. That is a weaver little giant. You can use it for all kinds of things. It's really good at setting snaps! Bar far the best way!
