- HI guys this is my version of Marble Chiffon Cake
8 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
100 ml oil
100 ml milk
1 tsp of vanilla
150 g cake flour
1/4 tsp of salt
For the meringue
8 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
to make the half chocolate flavour
Add 2 tbsp of cocoa powder

hi I really love yr marble chiffon. I changed the 100ml of milk to 100ml of orange juice n zest. the orange chiffon cake turn out to be as good as the marble chiffon. thanks again for the wonderful receipe

This marble chiffon cake is absolutely fabulous! The texture is perfect, and it’s delicious! I would like the chocolate flavor to stand out more, so next time, I plan to use 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and will determine if I need to add a bit more sugar to the chocolate half to complement the additional cocoa powder. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Haha today i bake already was so good..very very delicious and my husband he really like very much! Thank you so much.but one thing in the midle of my cake was Flat.whats the Problem? maybe i remove so quickly it was hot a little inside or?

Hi, i tried baking it and it is very delicious. There's just one thing, why does the cake keep on deflating or even making a dent on the sides?

hello...I've tried this marble.its moist @fluffy delicious but it looks like an IMPOSSIBLE CAKE!!! not a marble.bec.when done,the other half, choco. @ half wht.hahaha I don't know what went wrong.maybe bec.it was a little bit watery.giv me idea pls..
+Genie Tagros yes if its to watery the tendcy is the heavier batter will sink at the bottom and the lighter one will be on top. Make sure that you do not over mix and you keep the air from the meringue
Please suggest substitute to cream of tartar and its proportion too

Please clarify as I read thru all the comments you mentioned that 150g of cake flour is equivalent to 1 1/2 cup and I read another comment you said its 1 cup which one is which? thanks ...waiting for your reply as I want to make this cake but just want to make sure i get the exact measurement first before I start thanks

My Sweet Ambitions Sorry if I get you confused , I am talking about the packaging of my egg when I buy it from the shop it is 700 g , you are right I only use 8 eggs but I cannot give you exact grams of the eggs for, every eggs is different in grams the best way I can say is it is large to extra large in size

+Daisy Vianin (english) basic recipe for Swiss meringue buttercream is 1-2-3 just follow that principle no matter how much ingredients you have , say 1/4 cup egg whites , 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 cup butter, make sure that everything that will touch the egg whites is fat free or else it will not whip up on the initial stage, when cooking the eggwhite make sure that all the sugar granules is dissolve before taking it out of the heat. Add butter slowly if its at room temperature do not add it while the eggwhite sugar mixture is still hot make sure that it has cooled down.

elsaorense hi thank you for watching but I am so sorry to say that this cake cannot be steamed its just way to delicate . Meringue hates moisture and it will deflate.

There is no specific time, you just nest it until it gets there.

hihi, this is for 9 inch tube pan? If i am using 21cm tube pan, how to adjust recipe? Is this very sweet? Can i replace lemon juice with cream of tar tar and how many grams? Do we need so many eggs (8)? is your small or big eggs or how many grams as everyone use different sizes, in singapore those i can get are smaller, not big. I want the chiffon cake to be soft, fluffy and less sweet. Can i also add 25g chopped walnuts into each of the vanilla & chocolate batter? I hope to bake this over weekend and appreciate a response. Thanks in advance :)
***** this is for 10 inch tube pan, its not very sweet , you can replace lemon juice with cream of tartar same amount as needed in the recipe, I use large eggs, you can add walnuts but make sure that when you add it it will not deffalate so much of the air.

no corn flour is entirely different to cream of tartar. Cream of tartar is an acid the substitute you can use are lemon juice or white vinegar same amount as listed in hte recipe

May i ask why some of chiffon cake recipes they add baking powder and some of them whithout .. i usually make orange chiffon cake with 1 tablespoon of baking powder and it becomes goergous.. i wanna try your recipe soon.. thanx
engebtisaam Its an insurance for some recipe, I personally add baking poder to recipe that requiures allot of flour in a chiffon cake.
