- On April 11, 2016, I snagged five baseballs at the Oakland Coliseum. Here are some highlights.

As an A’s fan, I can see why many people dislike it but it really holds a very special spot in my heart. I’ve been going to games since I was a kid. What I love about the Coliseum is that you can enjoy a simple game of baseball while hanging with the fam or some friends. I don’t need some luxurious bar area or section to enjoy the game. It’s old and it’s a classic stadium

I've been to 15 ballparks in MLB including some fan favorites like AT&T, PNC, and Safeco. O-Co is my favorite!

Hey Zack I been an A's Fan since the Bash Brother days!! Talk about putting on a show!! Mcguire and Canseco used to crush the balls into the parking lot!! I totally feel you with the ballhawk rush!! Nothing like that feeling getting a major league ball! I have caught well over 100 in my lifetime, all at Oakland Coliseum my record for 1 game was 6. Pro-Tip: First in line at Gate A when they open for batting practice; sprint to section 129 at the corner right by the home team bullpen you can scoop the foul balls by reaching thru the rail to the ground. Makes for a great day at the ballpark!! I hope you reach 20k someday. Ill be rooting for you!

Camden yards
We had Oakland A's and Oakland Raiders season tickets from 1969-1983. The Coliseum used to be a great place to watch an A's game. Mt. Davis ruined the view of the Oakland Hills. Took away the two, large scoreboards. The ivy plants above the bleachers were removed. The A's need a new ballpark. However, not sure it will happen in Oakland.

At this particular game, I bought two tickets -- one on either side of home plate in the second deck. As for moving downstairs in the 9th inning, no one cared. Some stadiums are laid back like that.

Thanks! I forget the exact section number, but it was basically on the opposite side of home plate from the spot where I was filmed during the game.

I am a big Oakland A's fan. I love the coliseum its as you said unique because it's made for baseball but the Raiders took it over and now it's just a mess but I still love it. It's not easy catching one there I should know I have been to 12 A's games at O.co and it's hard. Love your videos. I would love to see you do Dodger Stadium and sit my Bobby Crosby.

I've never considered that because I'm really not interested in baseball below the major league level (except for tracking Alex Katz's progress in the White Sox's system because he's a good friend). I don't count non-MLB balls in my collection, but that does sound like fun. Maybe someday.

I've only caught 1 baseball but it was Mike Moustakas' 1st career postseason home run at Angels Stadium. I ended up giving it back to him the next day. I'll have to try out some of your tips next time I'm at a game.

PNC Field is great for ballhawking. If you don't know what it is, it's the Railriders (Yankees Triple-A) stadium.
