This record lodged itself in my head 50 odd years ago and refused to leave. I loved the musical structure and passionate vocal delivery. The production had the ‘Everlasting Love’ epic quality.
Great song, I bought this shortly after it came out at Barkers record store (sadly long gone) on The Headrow, Leeds on my way home from school in late 70.
Great song,i remember it from my youth, never a hit,co written by Peter Shelley who had a couple of hits in the mid 70's,with Gee Baby and Love Me Love My Dog.
- F A B U L O U S PERFORMANCE by John Bradford from Wolverhampton alias Eli Bonaparte !!!!! - This AMAZING single was released : 24. July 1970 in the UK and played quite a lot on the radio stations throughout that wonderful summer ! - Thank you so much TheBudgie29 for posting a decent copy with not too loud treble !!
Superb Record
Love this they don’t make them like this no more
This was played relentlessly on Radio Luxembourg in 1970. Should have been a massive hit.

Version française chanter par MICHELE TORR sous le titre j'aime a écouté.
Has to be the Granny's Intentions version for me.
Better than the Wayne Fontana version imo.

Terrific power pop, strangely not a hit
He became T Ford who also sadly failed to chart 🙁
