Holy crap you have way more patience than I do! Excellent work man. That carve is beautiful!
Thanks Dan! When do you get to drill for water?
The best explanation of grain direction I ever heard. Thanks a million for this !
My pleasure! Happy carving 👍
The colours of the woods, paint and burning all work perfectly together. And the resin makes it all shine. Brilliant work!
Thanks chief!
Nice touch adding the last bit of carving. Makes it pop
Wow Chris, you must have the patience of a saint! Great result. And I'll say it again, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous!
😂 I honestly can’t write with both hands, but knives and chisels seem easier 🤷♂️
The patience of a saint, I was getting stressed just thinking about doing it...
Take your time, you’ll be done when you done!
That’s some serious time and dedication Chris, nice work!👍
That was 8hours work!
Looks fantastic Chris, I’m glad you have an idea what to do 🤦♂️🤣

Looks wonderful well done
Thank you 😊
Every time he goes in for a scary move I feel the anxiety of every time i ever went in for one.
Hey man Amazing work !!
Please use some kind of jig for the UV light it can be extremely harmful to your skin
It’s used for 1-1/2mins to set the resin. And is actually from a hand nail set.
That carve looks good. How long do you need to hold the UV light over each part of the resin to let it set?
It only takes about 1-1/2mins to set!
@@KingBespokeCreations Wow, that's fast!
How long did it take you Chris? I'd be at that for days lol love the gold against the black
That was 8hours work!
@@KingBespokeCreations 8 hours! So yeah hats off to you. Nice job 👍
Not watched it yet but you might want to check to spelling on the chapters. 'and ding resin'
Thanks 🤦♂️
Since you filled it with resin anyway, why not just router out the space and drop in a real braided rope, then fill that up with resin?? Oooo, imagine that look.
Could have been an option, tricky holdi g the rope in place though? Plus, any excuse to get some carving in! 😂
@@KingBespokeCreations Just glue the rope to the bottom of the route first, then fill.
