  • In this video, I show you how to lay out and hand carve a Celtic knot design.
    I explain what to look for when carving and which tools I use to complete the job.
    I finish this piece in black and gold, and cover the lot in a UV resin.

    The colours of the woods, paint and burning all work perfectly together. And the resin makes it all shine. Brilliant work!

    Hey man Amazing work !!
    Please use some kind of jig for the UV light it can be extremely harmful to your skin

    • @KingBespokeCreations
      @KingBespokeCreations  2 года назад +1

      It’s used for 1-1/2mins to set the resin. And is actually from a hand nail set.

  • @bhartissimo
    @bhartissimo 2 года назад +1

    That carve looks good. How long do you need to hold the UV light over each part of the resin to let it set?

  • @afterlifeguitars
    @afterlifeguitars 2 года назад +1

    How long did it take you Chris? I'd be at that for days lol love the gold against the black

    Not watched it yet but you might want to check to spelling on the chapters. 'and ding resin'

  • @timhallas4275
    @timhallas4275 2 года назад +1

    Since you filled it with resin anyway, why not just router out the space and drop in a real braided rope, then fill that up with resin?? Oooo, imagine that look.

    • @KingBespokeCreations
      @KingBespokeCreations  2 года назад +1

      Could have been an option, tricky holdi g the rope in place though? Plus, any excuse to get some carving in! 😂

      @timhallas4275 2 года назад +1

      @@KingBespokeCreations Just glue the rope to the bottom of the route first, then fill.
