Question: I play a game on Steam that is account based. When I log into Steam account 1, I see the main account for the game. However, when I log into Steam account 2, it loads the exact same game profile on Steam account 1 even though I have a second account with a different level of progress. Any ideas how to fix this?
I can run the same game on two accounts on the same computer. That works. But, there is a problem still. Problem being: Only one game connects to the internet while the other doesn't. Always the first one I bring up connects easy, second one says "No servers found" as if I was disconnected from internet. I switched it up on which account does what, same issue, always the second account up has no servers. Is there a fix to that?
Had the same thing, for me I restarted my computer, logged into steam normally, got on the game, then I booted up the sandboxie and it worked. My current issue is if I play on kbm I can go on a window but if I plug in a controller for the 2nd, I can only play on 1 window

NO,,, its perfectly safe and Steam mentions that you will NOT get banned from it as its a vertual software, but i prefer to just share the accounts to switch

Yo, i though that this will help me, but after i try to open Lost ark on any of account on sandboxie then right after loading error pops up. I will try to create second windows account and then when i want to play on second account i will just change windows account. But it worked as you showed. I had 2 running Steam account in one time. But cant open not even one game on sanboxie at least not with easy anticheat :/
you would have to have 3 storage devices with the steam client downloaded. From there you would manually select each steam client individually into sandboxie.

Doesn't seem to work for sea of thieves, when I hit play it starts up and even says im playing then kicks me out with no error message. And it's only for Sot.
Sea of Thieves probably has a cheat engine to prevent it opening twice like that. I used left 4 dead for example because it doesn’t have a cheat protection. If I had to guess, which I haven’t tried is opening 2 different cheat engine players for each Game, possibly that may be a solution.

Pretty sure that’s because you logged in with the same account on the same pc. That’s why it does that. Different accounts wouldn’t do that, least from what I’ve seen
Usually not no, unless you do remember password. But obviously don’t do it on the same drive as your main steam account. I usually have steam applications download on separate drives for different accounts so I can do remember password.
i use it to play csgo guardian missions that need 2 player s and sometimes after a match or 2 it give me VAC authection error on the account on sandbox--i check account it s not real vac -it s just verfying error so any idea how to make it work without having the vac error??
Some games like CSGO are heavy on cheat control may not be able to run twice, I’ve even tried having steam installed on separate drives alongside the game and still had some issues, I think games without heavy cheat control are the only games to run twice, like left 4 dead
i have the same issue. Did you find any solution? I think it has to do with the ip address which is the exact same on both steam instances and valve does not like that, it thinks that you are running some kind of bot

Honestly most VAC or Anti cheats will have this issue, as far as work-arounds I’m not entirely sure if there is a way. I am sorry. But I can try and figure out something when I get the chance.

because you don't have file extensions on, if you click view program or properties then you can see what it has at the end. Every file always has some type of extension to it. You can also hover over the icon for about 1-2 seconds and it'll show a little menu with what type of file it is. But not every icon will have a description of the item, those are more than likely a directory/shortcut icon that leads to the actual icon and opens it. Like for example when steam says would you like to add a icon to your desktop, those are directory files that lead to a different drive on your computer. You can tell that they are directory/shortcut files if they have a arrow in the bottom left pointing up.
My friends dont have pc so we cant play 2k but if i do this we could play on my pc since i have 2 monitors my friend just needs to buy 2k on another steam account and it could work
How do I fix the update problem? I could have multiple steam accounts (games) on at the same time. But now the game needs a update and sandbox don't let me too update. I tried going into the real steam on that account and it was updated but still not on sandbox. Is there a fix for this problem?
@@GoldDjinn Honestly have no idea, never tried but my assumption is anti cheat works like that regardless. The anti cheat has to open parallel with the game for the game to work.

When i right click > run sandboxed > any program and choose steam, nothing opens. It verifys steam and then just doesn't do anything.

EasyAntiCheat crashes the game everytime i attmept to run it on the sandboxie account
