Happy Thanksgiving! I am stitching Turkey Day too. I love the linen you chose and the color changes in thread that you made. My son got his first hearing aides when he was three years old. He is an adult now with his own family and a successful career. It wouldn’t have been possible without them so we are thankful too.

your Autumn Leaf quilt is so beautiful! it makes me want to put down the stitching and get back to my sewing machine! I finished the Forest Home chart a couple months ago, it is a very fun stitch. And Mr Tom Turkey..... I am just going to have to go buy him! My husband even liked him. Speaking of husbands, I am so happy for your husband, mine needs hearing aids too, it's more a problem of getting him to go do it..... Maybe I will share your story with him. I just love watching your videos! You're so bubbly and full of life and joy! I'm going to have to find me a Santa to join along, because that sounds like fun! I would suggest a scanning app for getting the pattern out of your book. Actual scanners might not get in the binding or might break the binding, but I have a Microsoft 360 app that basically takes a photo and turns it into a scan. It's saved me a few times before. Also, thanks for introducing me to the Thanksgiving Fairy! I didn't know she existed!! Thanksgiving is my husband's favorite holiday and he's always upset when the decorations skip from Halloween to Christmas, so I'll get to stitch that up for him!

I was with him at the hearing specialists when he first tried hearing aids. They had me stand outside the room and behind him to speak … and he (and I) were so happy when he said, “I can hear you!”…an exciting moment indeed!❤

O Laura...never apologize for tears...most especially happy tears. God moves in mysterious ways..he has provided something your husband hasn't had in a while. The gift of really hearing the music...hearing your beautiful voice...justvhearing the world around him. How awesome is that gift? You have lots to be thankful for. Your falling leaves quilt reminded me of the leaf showers we have had the last few weeks. Such vibrant and rich colors. I could sit and listen to your tubes...floss and quilt...for hours ❤!
Agreed, I’ve been watching for a little while but today I was compelled to comment …. but everyone has pretty much said it so I won’t go on and on. I was so excited to see your face pop up in my subscription list! I was merrily stitching away on an autumn-ish project while watching you when I was hit by a “I want to #StitchASantaSAL too!!!” squirrel 😂. There are a few I’ve been drooling over on Etsy so I took it as a sign to finally choose one and kit it up. Then, I got to your quilting segment and now all I want to do is hide out in my sewing room and play with fabrics. You’re such an inspiration to me. My first time to watch, Pam & Steph from Just Keep Stitches said I should take a look. So glad I did! Love this video & will definitely will have to catch up. Your projects are all so pretty. I have to watch again & take notes. I also am a quilter and I love your leaves , one pattern I've always wanted to do. I have same trouble with cross stitch as with quilting, Finishing ! Way too many wips. I like your plans & keeping track of everything, something I am going to try & see if this helps. So happy for your husband and you. Wishing you the very best result possible. your Autumn Leaf quilt is so beautiful! it makes me want to put down the stitching and get back to my sewing machine! I finished the Forest Home chart a couple months ago, it is a very fun stitch. And Mr Tom Turkey..... I am just going to have to go buy him! My husband even liked him. Speaking of husbands, I am so happy for your husband, mine needs hearing aids too, it's more a problem of getting him to go do it..... Maybe I will share your story with him. I just love watching your videos! You're so bubbly and full of life and joy! I'm going to have to find me a Santa to join along, because that sounds like fun! I would suggest a scanning app for getting the pattern out of your book. Actual scanners might not get in the binding or might break the binding, but I have a Microsoft 360 app that basically takes a photo and turns it into a scan. It's saved me a few times before.
Also, thanks for introducing me to the Thanksgiving Fairy! I didn't know she existed!! Thanksgiving is my husband's favorite holiday and he's always upset when the decorations skip from Halloween to Christmas, so I'll get to stitch that up for him!
Holy cow!!!! I am in LOVE with your falling leaves quilt! I don't know if my brain could take a pattern like that from the sampler and turn it into an overall large quilt, but I certainly want to try now! Gorgeous!

Hi there! It’s your Valleyford friend…Happy Thanksgiving! My husband got hearing aids in his 40’s (also a hereditary issue). I was with him at the hearing specialists when he first tried hearing aids. They had me stand outside the room and behind him to speak … and he (and I) were so happy when he said, “I can hear you!”…an exciting moment indeed!❤

Your Autumn Leaf quilt is gorgeous! I do not typically watch your quilt episodes because I can barely keep up with cross-stitch flosstubes. I used to quilt but realized I had to give it up about 10 years ago. You made me feel really nostalgic about it. What talent you have!

What a great bunch of projects! Just amazing! Stargazer- just WOW! The fall quilt is just incredible too, really beautiful! I especially enjoy your passion for life and your projects. Glad you had your fan moment, that just had to be incredible! Thank you for sharing the good news about your husband. Modern technology saved my son from going blind even though it was an ‘every day’ procedure. It is still an incredible blessing and gift.

I always love your videos, but oh my goodness! When you showed your Santa in the book 101 Cross stitch Designs, I did a double take! I have been looking for the pattern on the opposing page for decades! I used to have it in a magazine, but I lost it before I had a chance to stitch it! That white house with the tree in the window...😍 Thank you, thank you for showing both pages, I immediately went online and ordered a copy of the book. Serendipity!

My kids and I are learning ASL as part of our homeschool and we frequently use the RUclips channel Learn How to Sign which has taught us a lot. I believe they also offer more in-depth classes and even accelerated programs too if you guys are interested in that ❤
