Salomon have encorperated features such as the Contagrip outsole for added stability and this shoe has the breathable Gore Tex lining. This is a standard shoe and although I do have a wider foot this is a standard width shoe. Salomon do a wide fit but I was unable to find this even on their own website due to lack of stock. This is my second pair of Salomon training shoes and the previous pair went around the world with me from the UK to Alaska to New Zealand, Australia and the Galapagos Islands. www.amiddleaged...

They are good and do feel slightly big as the tongue has an elastic strip in the middle allowing my foot to spread. I could possibly have gone half a size down.

Hi I got mine today and the fit is the same as yours with space around the toe. Thinking to change one size down. How was it running outside? Thanks.
