Honestly idk why I have been looking for a review for these, but I own like 6 of them so I actually wanted to see a proper review for them, thank you!!
They sound alright, but these are definitely not an "out-and-about" type. If I'm on a bus or in the street, I can hear EVERYTHING. These are good for home use though.
When I got my iPhone (6) I gave these straight to my kids as I assumed they were cheap junk. They were also really uncomfortable, but after watching this I now realise I was trying to push them into my ear canal like an IEM, doh!
I hate to ruin the mood...but these EarPods won’t be a ‘comfort’ to your ears if you use them overtime. They(along with other earbuds) can cause tinnitus(annoying miserable ear ringing that’ll ruin your sleep)....Save your ears!!!
I’m here as human being to tell you a compelling warning before a certain bad thing could surely happen. Get rid off them or don’t use em too frequently(especially don’t try binge watching anything with them). They’ll cause tinnitus... And don’t expect the lowest volume to prevent it...
I use these for listening to shortwave at night when I'm passing out. I have liberty air 2 pro ankers, I have a bunch of audio Technica monitors but I like these for just listening to my radio
Great review Thanks! I use them as a daily driver as I don't want to get cut out from the outside world. After 4 years the sound was getting a little muddy and no amount of cleaning was able to fix it. I pulled out the mesh on the tip and they now sound awesome.
From my experience for like the past few years. I’ve actually had one morning for each past three years in a row where I found myself waking up with tinnitus at its worst. The first time(with scary humming noise) I’ve often been using them at any volume, the second time(with awful high pitched) despite how it in lower volume and using one of the ear buds at a time, and the third just barely yesterday I had another high pitched ringing in my right ear(likely though there were cases I accidentally I forgot to switch between them often because it’s a bit hard to keep track that I overused it in the same ear for a bit too long). Right now the ear ringing seemed to have eased a bit so far. But yesterday I hard to play asmr to sleep cause the tinnitus was too awful. Nevertheless, I swore that was the last chance I’ll give these headphones as well as other earbuds and gave up using them for good days ago.
Good cause the ringing did not ease by the much...still to an annoying degree. The least I can do is prevent anyone from going through the same. Cause I don’t even think Silencil will be commercially available and any cure based on research is not happening anytime soon.. I’d rather have Covid over tinnitus...
Hey! Thanks for the review. I've watching most of your videos lately in the last month just to find a better alternative to the ear pods. I personally think these are the most comfortable buds I have ever used and I agree that I can use them for hours on end. I was actually thinking of upgrading to a better one without sacrificing the comfort. Do you have any recommendations for comfortable and at the same time better sounding ones? Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Honestly for the price you can't really go wrong with these if you don't want to go full IEM for instance. Set of these can cost you anywhere from like 8 to 18 bucks depending on where you are.
I still love the apple wired earbuds in a way because these are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever owned but the main problem is that the apple wired earbuds only last a few months instead of a year or more like they used to. The first pair I had lasted at least a few years while the pair I have now the sound quality on the right side is really low. I'll try and clean them but if that doesn't work then I'll just probably buy another pair because other brands have those rubber tips and the rubber tip ones really irritate the inside of my ears. I wish more brands made apple type earbuds but oh well. Even though this video is a few years old it's still a good review.
if it gets painful, then you're probably wearing them wrong. and honestly, idk why you call these flimsy, they're one of the best quality earphones i've ever owned. and they're also not designed to block out sound. if they were, they'd be much more expensive. all of that was just my opinion though.
TBH you are better off hating these Apple headphones(as well as any in-ear buds). They’ll risk you getting tinnitus. Stay away from them. I’ve had the worst experience...
I'm a new Apple user, and I have the newer version with the lightning plug. I think they sound very good and I get compliments on how they sound when talking on the phone. I'm not much on wearing headphones, buds, etc so really cannot compare them to any other earbuds. thanks for the video.
I just ordered these. I have the JBL t205 and I love how comfy they are, but they sound a bit too muddy for me, so I decided to try these out, since they're supposed to be more balanced. I had many proper headphones before, but they all have hurt my ears or were uncomfortable in some way. This design is perfect for me in terms of comfort and I'm willing to sacrifice some of the audio quality for it. Also, they're going to be my 1st ever apple product. I should get them tomorrow. I'll update how I feeling about them when I get them. :)
@@geod3589 They're so good for the price and super comfortable. The headphone jack could be better, but that's about the only compliant I have with them. I'm really satisfied with these earphones!
