  • Some time ago, I received a comment asking me, "hey how can I improve the craft of writing on a daily basis?", and as you know, your wish is my command, so let’s talk about how you can do exactly that: improve your writing on a daily basis. If you, too, want me to discuss certain topics or answer certain questions, let me know, folks ❤️

So true! Theory alone won't get you too far without practice. I wanted to say thanks for sharing these great tips that are totally practical!

Hi Kat, this learning and counting process is where it affects us the most, especially trying to migrate to this area.
I'm still a junior (although my age is already 40) and I'm looking for an opportunity to grow. Your tips are great and I even took the idea from your portfolio in a past video to draft mine.
Thanks for sharing. (a follower and student, as I consider myself, from Brazil).

This makes me so happy to hear, thanks for sharing, Andre! Also, being a junior at 40 is such an achievement because it means that we're still trying to better ourselves and shift our career into a favorable direction, no matter our age (I'm 36 by the way, so I can relate). Imho, being able and willing to learn completely new ways is the number one skill in the tech industry, so kudos for that!

Okay, WAIT because is this a Daria profile pic? As a teenager, I LIVED FOR THIS SHOW 😭
Back to topic 😅 There's actually a wide variety of books on UX Writing out there, but my personal favorite is "Writing is Designing" by Michael J. Betts and Andy Welfle. It includes so many good concepts and systematic approaches that are helpful on both a theoretical and practical level. I also found "The business of UX Writing" by Yael Ben-David pretty insightful.
And: Thank you for your kind words about my videos, love to hear that they are helpful!
