Anyhow, I went back to my mods folder and downloaded the correct versions and allocated 5GB RAM instead of 2 (too much seems to result in problems as well, usage depends on the mods as well). Even indium seemed to work then. Then I fired up the game and the change was massive. From 15-40fps with shaders to 100fps capped. I could even try seus shaders which performed the worst on my system. I tried differnt texture packs (even 3D/POM one) and they seem to work as well (even bigger ones). It went from similarly unplayable (optifine) to actually enjoyable. Here are some side notes. I play mc 1.20.4. I'm watching this 3 weeks later cuz i decided to play minecraft after 7 months-, the perfectionist me who's pc is a potato always heats up and has 14 fps on shaders, since phosphor isnt in 1.20/1.20.1 yet I use starlight, its apparently better and faster as one of the comments said and omg this saved my butt 😭😭😭
I cant get 1k fps for some reason. I have Ryzen 5 5600g and RTX 3060. Am i doing something wrong?
bro saved my life i was using sildurs vibrant high on my rtx 3070 and early game got around 200 fps but when i made alot of farms and villager trading halls it droped to 60 with all of these im getting around 200 again saving my life bro thanks alot
short version went from 60 fps with optifine to around 220
Somebody know why i am getting low fps with all of this? (1060 6gb) i have much better fps with optifine
Does it work with nvidium?
Phosphorus doesn’t work for 1.20.1 cuz they haven’t updated their mod
dude omg thank u so much im getting over 500 fps with shaders:o i was so confused why i was so limited with optifine
i use optifine with complimentary reimagined and i usually get 60-70 fps with almost zero lags and with sodium and all those i get 33 fps
idk if the fact that im using m1 macbook is changing anything but its weird cause ive heard that sodium is much better multiple times
the problem is obviously your macbook
Anyone mind telling me why Iris shaders are saying they are out of date or something like 5.0 version and they need 5.7
BRO DUUUDE U HAVE A I9 13TH GEN WITH A 3080TI?? BROOO JUST GET A 4090 :(((((((((((
somehow my fps got worse? i went from 250 vanilla to 130 with all the optimization?
This video is a bit old but everything worked perfectly, so thank you for that.
Holy shit man, you're the best!! I got 30 fps with optifine and a shader and now with the same shader I get 130 fps!!!!
when i explore new chunk the fps drops to 20 from 200 can anyone help me?

What is Lithium for?
More fps I think
Bro nothing changed before i had 40 fps and now i have also 40
I went from around 20 fps to 57 fps so, thank you
Why using Sodium and Lithium at the same time? I dont understand
I downloaded them all, even so I got less fps than optifine, does anyone know why?
Can i use any clients like lunar client with all these mods?
I just run sodium and get around 1200 on average and when I look at the absolutely massive city it drops to 500-800, It’s definitely working!
You are the legend!!!
Absolute game changer, thanks
OH MY GOD i got a very unstable 50 fps now i get a 100 with shaders
THANK YOU
feels a bit wrong to watch another video about optimization mods and seeing geforce rtx 3080 every time like... do u even need THAT high frame rates? is there any difference between 200-300 and 1000 fps?
Yes, you can run those lower frame rates and have them more energy efficient :) - thus save money!
