    Used to go to Smithfield market with my daddy. We'd go to the second hand bookshop. I still have the copy of Targa the otter he bought me, for 1 shilling and sixpence. Happy days.

    I use to work at MARCUS MUSICL INSTRUMENTS in Gresham Street. I t a great place to work.

    I just about remember that old Smithfield as a kid growing up in the 1960's . We'd get off the train in Queens Quay and walk over the bridge into Ann street . Smithfield was usually part of our shopping trip . I was interested in the bookshops . Sure it had character but it also was full of tat ! Organized chaos would be a fair description ☺
