I had an epidural in my back for my surgery this past summer also... they are awesome. Beautiful area Alan The path, with the trees and the light cascading down creating those shadows... very nice. Take it easy and come back strong. Take care.

It's so good to see you healing up nicely and being so active. Lovely fall color and the park is lovely. I had the general anesthetics and I liked to hear your experience on what you had done. Yes, sitting down and getting up hurt the most for sure.
Thanks Nicole, it's great to be back out, especially on such a beautiful day. I was real surprised that I had a local instead of a general anesthetic but, I really liked it much better, never saw or felt anything and no nauseous afterwards. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

I love this time of the year for all the different colours in the trees. Unfortunately, when the frosts of winter start, all the leaves fall down, which is always a bit sad. Thank you for watching, cheers Alan

My mate was awake for his knee replacement but they had a screen up and earphones and the radio on, he spent the whole operation singalong to the music lol! No problem Max, I hope your recovery is going well, cheers Alan

Glad for you that the surgery went well and you are recovering. I had the same procedure about 20 years back and it's still holding up. Nice area for you to enjoy the autumn weather and colors. The swans and other birds seem almost tame. I hope Mrs. Metalman took you over to Hardwick, she had on a good poker face when you mentioned it to her. Nice of you to give Max a shoutout.

Beautiful location for a lovely walk………… Great to hear that you are getting back to your old self…… Our positive vibes are going your way... Really beautiful park! Wow, awake………... oh my….. You are right but still…. I couldn't have my eye operation with local anaesthetics….. too afraid, the elderly ladies all came out smiling, not me but it was very difficult to wake up though. Next eye, the surgeon just said: Same again? And I said…. yes… coward little me... Don't hurry going back to work, take your time!

Good Autumn walk. Prpbably just what the doctor ordered. Do you guy have pain killers over there? Japan doesn't have anything good like Oxy or Percocet. Only asprine. I was just curious. Good to see you out. Feels good I bet. Good luck during your final week on the shelf.
Thanks for watching Rocky and the numbness took an hour to wear off after the operating and I was given codeine tablets and paracetamol tablets, which eased the pain but nothing more, so they gave me some liquid morphine, which really took the edge off. I took that the following day and was fine after that. Cheers Alan
