Nah. You're taking advice from a loser felon that heard some shlt. Now he's repeating it. All these rats wore their Bs to show where they are from. 50 year old felons talking about the good old days. Rats.
I grew up on the South Shore. But a friend of mine insisted Santarpio's was the best pizza without question. And he would regularly go out there. Even though he had to pay the toll on his return trip. He was right. Back then. These days it's not anything special. It must have been the old timers who were in their 60s and 70s back in the 1980s and early 90s.
We just talked to her randomly at the end of the day is shooting we ate at Santarpios … she made the whole video though🤣🤣💯 so glad There’s people like that still alive !!!!
Bremen St here, shown in the vid too right around the corner from the club. Walked by every day going to the Aligheri. Grace the crossing guard, that might have been the 80s. Def great job on the vid!
I was brought up on the Cape. My brother went to college in Boston in the early 80's. I couldn't wait til the weekends and hang out in Boston. I'm Sicilian and naturally gravitated towards Revere, North end, East Boston. Best years of my life.
Now I need to go to Santarpios, the pizza, the tips, sausage, what a Boston landmark, food is sensational, another great video dude, you bring back the nostalgia so well, love it
Yo Jason, this is by far the one of the best videos you made so far! I knew the professional crew would be gold. This is a great video. The best. The one thing I would say is use your wireless mic and not the boon mic for your solos/speeches. This is great, can’t wait to see what’s down the pipe!
You brought me back to when I was in Florida & was playing ping-pong with a friend at an Irish bar. A Martorano brother was there with what seemed to be his bodyguard. ( he had a gun on his hip ) The bodyguard was a little to close to the ping-pong table & I asked him real nicely if he could move a little further from the table so I would have more running around space ! He made a face & mumbled something , but he moved ! I nicely told him " Thank U " ! 😂👊
This is my favorite video of yours . So well edited and put together and it's YOU. My dream is to have OTHER people(professionals ) shoot and edit Serdjes Verses- or a similar hiphop spin off (like how you flipped this, but you still doing you) shout out Eastie
Great history lesson of Eastie. Bostons history of mobs, gangs, MC’s, politics and crime is unrivaled especially for such a popular city which is generally considered safe.
I'm grateful that you made this one. Eastie has been my home physically and spiritually for my 49 years. Italian and Irish myself. Definitely has changed here dramatically but I still feel at home overall. The best days are just far behind us, sad to say.
@jasontrimmins8264 ya your dad is doing such a great job being a rat. You going to follow the tradition of being a rat , felon? Great job Dad. He's got 30 dollars to his name, and a documentary about a shlthole called boston. Rats
Hey man South Boston born raised and still there. You did a great job on this Hope you are very proud of yourself. I go s lot of work in eastie developing new homes. This was a great look inside.
Great Content g &Much love from SouthCoast Massachusetts .. I love hearing you speak on NE’s rich history as well as OUR peoples insightful stories.. all OUR peoples stories we are one collective - The Human Race 🤎🖤🤍🩶💛 You put this piece together beautifully ide love for you to do some future pieces covering Hilltoppers/Whaling City both of which grew up in which I know a bit far from Boston compared to y’all in Lynn/Peabody but whenever ide travel out of state/country would have to say I’m from Boston MA bc don’t nobody know about fall River in Sc yet alone the Eu😅 so I enjoy soaking up the times/tribulations that shaped what we know of here today
Hey jay another good video. That was very intriguing. I think we should talk about some stories I got. I appreciate watching your journalism!! Every video gets better my man!! Respectfully GG
Great video. I'm an Irish/Scottish-almost-40ish year old born at St. Margaret's in Dorchester (RIP). I have family going back to the 18/19th century in this area (from Canada, Ireland or Scotland directly). Family tales of Whitey and the lore alike were part of my childhood. My old neighbor had an old Patriarca car and owned a bar, culture runs deep beyond Boston borders.
“Don’t Eva be a fookin Rat” 。。。That’s Right! ・・Words to live By! I wish Raymond Partriarca Sr. was still at The Coinomatic, on Federal Hill in Providence, today. ♤☆Top Notch, Video, Jason! Thank You, Buddy.
“You can only live your life forward and understand it in reverse…” damn that is some deep shit

That Kerry gold is unbeatable lol
Reminds me of my Irish Grandmother who grew up in JP and Rozzie
Absolutely. The ol' Irish are buttah snobs. My family's Delaneys from JP and Dohertys from Rozzie. Seen a lot of Kerry gold growing up.

Sounds pretty accurate honestly
