I grew up in the outskirts of Boston in the suburbs my whole life with my aunt uncle and cousins but my mom was constantly moving around so I was always switching schools so I experienced everything especially when I started running around the streets. I am far from a gang banger but I have met a lot of people in my 39 years and I have to say that living in Dorchester a couple times that Dorchester definitely has its hoods. There's streets that you just don't go down unless you're driving through not bothering anyone. The one dude I went to school with moved to Dorchester and was the head of one of the neighborhood gangs. He ended up shooting his "best friend" in the head and back leaving him paralyzed for life for dropping out of the gang. On thanksgiving night too. Dude said if I didn't see it with my own eye I would have never thought he shot me he was a brother to me. The dudes in jail serving life and from what I've heard he already had a body or two. I only found out because I searched him on google years later because I always thought he'd end up doing something crazy. He was a skinny ass dude but he was an absolute lunatic even just in elementary school. Crazy how I knew he'd end up with a murder charge just from going to elementary school with him 🤦🏻♂️

My dad grew up on Porter St. His mom and dad came over from Italy, and that house stayed in the family for over 100yrs. My mom's parents, Irish, Beachmont. Thr Duffy"s and Devingo's. Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Maria Luisa Clare, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Maria Luisa Clare is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

I grew up next to that gas station on Quincy and blue hill. My mom used to collect welfare checks at that abandoned building behind the BK. Rode thru dudley station every day to get to school. As some folks mentioned in the comments, there are legitimate trenches in Boston. As a young kid, I had the guidance and support to be able to avoid getting caught up in the BS, but some do not. Glad you shining a light on us, Tommy G. Showing the world what the REAL Boston is like.
Boston's an interesting place because of all of the yuppies and colleges around. Most people don't know this side of the city, and the suburbs are having to deal with it more and more now too
Tommy and the movement he has popularized in RUclips journalism is educating the public. This is a revolutionary way to make the next generation realize this is not the life they want.
im from mass and lived in savin hill, and i also have stayed and live in rough parts of cities outside of massachusetts, you can walk down columbia ave after a night of drinking at an irish pub down the road and be alright. some places in america you really cant without avoiding trouble. also if you look up statistically springfield and holy oak are more deadly cities in massachusetts. but mattapan and roxbury definitely hold their reputation. heath st projects and the likes
Facts a lot of cities in Mass worse then Boston it's them little pockets you gotta watch out for but generally boston is one of the safest cities in America
Springfield Holyoke Top 2 in our state. New Bedford Lawrence Brockton You drive down Union St. in Lawrence, NOBODY is hanging out on the streets at night.
Boston one of the safest cities in the country lol tommy should’ve went to Hartford or new haven shit even Springfield got more hoods than Boston he went past all those hoods to go to Boston 😂
Yeah I’m from Roxbury. Roxbury doesn’t deserve this hype. I just moved out of Cambridge. Every corner of Cambridge feels way safer than Mission Hill. Cambridge goons make me giggle
@@devonforsure260not a lot of opportunities in those neighborhoods honestly. Thats the whole issue. They had a study in boston on the wealth disparity between the black and white neighborhoods. For the white neighborhoods the avg net worth was over 200k for the black neighborhoods it was only 8 dollars. Not 8000 or 800 but literally 8 dollars. Its an expensive place to live and not a lot of means for ppl working a regular job to get the training/education they need to make the improvements they want to see in their lives. Ppl gotta realize for the ppl who get sucked into this lifestyle it starts at childhood and by the time their old enough to carve their own way they often already messed their life up to the point where they feel like they cant turn back. Its hard enough making it out these neighborhoods even if you dont get involved in that lifestyle. If a teenager gets sucked into that way of living in boston its basically a wrap for them
I would say most places are that across the United States - also many people don't care to identify themselves as gangsters just regular and simple folk who lives everyday living and just so happen to take care of business when necessary. Not everyone is trying to identify or be labeled as gangsters. At the end of the day, people do what they do to strive and support themselves and their family. Just my perspective and general perspective.
Preciate you shining light on the 617! We gotta do the whole Mass next 😤💪🤞

Crazy how I knew he'd end up with a murder charge just from going to elementary school with him 🤦🏻♂️
Just found this channel recently. Appreciate you showing Boston. We’re all good people.
Been waiting on the Millyz video!!!! Let's gooooooo!!!

It is VERY easy to avoid all of "this" in Boston, so DO NOT be deterred.

My dad grew up on Porter St. His mom and dad came over from Italy, and that house stayed in the family for over 100yrs.
My mom's parents, Irish, Beachmont. Thr Duffy"s and Devingo's.
I bet it's changed a lot from when I was a kid.
I haven't heard a true East Boston Italian Accent mumble, grunt, ect lol since my dad died 12 yrs ago and sadly probably never will again.
The stories I'll never forget.
12:52 I respect that you always try to give them some words of wisdom💯
You got Millyz? His music is hella amazing. This is dope
I'm glad you made this video, I can recall when I was homeless and faced with many things in Life until $75,000 biweekly began rolling in and my Life went from A homeless nobody to a different person with good things to offer!!!!!❤️
I'm feeling really motivated.
Could you share some details about the bi-weekly topic you brought up?
Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Maria Luisa Clare, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Maria Luisa Clare is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
Wow 😱 I know her too!
Miss Maria Luisa Clare is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
I got started with a miserly $1500. The results have been mind blowing I must say TBH!!
Shout out to the Cape Verdean brother who didn't fall for that color struck point of view from the culture vultures. The beautiful people are dark skinned brown people too, just like he said. 14:51

You should go to sleep and don’t wake up until Tommy G comes to your hood!
Same here - 00.15hrs the Netherlands
@ norway got no hoods at all, only wannabe gangsters
This guy is so far my favorite rapper you’ve interviewed. He’s very down to Earth.

Nice to hear some Boston Accents once again, born and raised outside of Worcester, Mass in Sutton. I think you should do a vid on the hardcore scene, and punk scene of the state of Mass.
Yes I would love to see this! Mass and a lot of New England has a pretty great hardcore scene
I’m 30 minutes from you in Dudley :)

I was actually working on a video to do with that Topic.
Most people don't know this side of the city, and the suburbs are having to deal with it more and more now too
I sure as fuck didn't expect the guy wearing a wrestling belt on his head to drop so much knowledge
Much respect to millyz and tommy G killing the game in both your arenas
When I was in Boston for work I was geeking on the fucking wonky brick sidewalks.. like Paul Revere rode his horse here type pathway haha
Only kike 5 blocks have brick sidewalk. That's not boaton that's just people there for work and tourists lol
paul revere did ride his horse there ....
Cambridge is not the trenches homie
Tommy and the movement he has popularized in RUclips journalism is educating the public. This is a revolutionary way to make the next generation realize this is not the life they want.
im from mass and lived in savin hill, and i also have stayed and live in rough parts of cities outside of massachusetts, you can walk down columbia ave after a night of drinking at an irish pub down the road and be alright. some places in america you really cant without avoiding trouble. also if you look up statistically springfield and holy oak are more deadly cities in massachusetts. but mattapan and roxbury definitely hold their reputation. heath st projects and the likes
also you connected with an older crowd. kids are more wild obviously
Facts a lot of cities in Mass worse then Boston it's them little pockets you gotta watch out for but generally boston is one of the safest cities in America
Springfield
Holyoke
Top 2 in our state.
New Bedford
Lawrence
Brockton
You drive down Union St. in Lawrence, NOBODY is hanging out on the streets at night.
@@coldleo4950exactly, its just litlle pockets in and out the city you gotta be aware of but its def one of the safest major cities in America

Don't let this video fool you into thinking The Port (Cambridge) is a dangerous place. The other neighborhoods, yeah don't go there.
The other places ain’t so bad if you’re minding your business, but yeah ain’t nothing to find out there
Boston one of the safest cities in the country lol tommy should’ve went to Hartford or new haven shit even Springfield got more hoods than Boston he went past all those hoods to go to Boston 😂
Yeah I’m from Roxbury. Roxbury doesn’t deserve this hype. I just moved out of Cambridge. Every corner of Cambridge feels way safer than Mission Hill. Cambridge goons make me giggle
The brockton shooting hibachi video is scary 😮
@@beastmode3267 correct, boston is gentrified at this point

Cambridge definitely has a hood in it. A small hood but still a hood
Real gangstas everwhere but boston is so good at keeping the crime just in the "hood" you never hear about it....
Yo that’s crazy true
That's cause you finna get laughed at. Y'all still bangin in 2024 with all the opportunity? Hilarious 😂
Said it in the last vid knew there had to be a second part to Boston let’s gooooo !!
