We'll take you to a one of a kind cafe in Sevier County that has vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options! Then we take you to a glass blower named Sparky who has been in the Glades for 32 years perfecting his craft! Last but not least, how about a blast from the past at the Glades Soda Fountain where they do it all from malts to milkshakes to banana splits and even a phosphate! Come along as we share the heritage that makes up the backbone of this county!

As a vegan it’s hilarious to listen people try vegan food. Most people forget that salads basic garden are vegan, French fries , all fruits and veggies and they’re like “we’ve never tried vegan food” you’re not going to that extreme but it’s funny. And the reason he’s saying the pepper feels so meaty … it’s the protein in the lentils etc :) meat definition isn’t actually dead animals. The definition of meat is actually solid food :) I hope this opens you up to more vegan foods in your future. Cheers. Your body also digests it better as the ingredients are more natural, even when fried. Meaning your body can breakdown what you need from it quicker and poop better. Yay. /9 excited to check this place out next month!!!!!
I’d love to open a vegan place up there in the Smoky’s. I can hardly wait to go! So excited. I may neee to stay a few hours so I can keep ordering lol

Sadly, the restaurant is permanently closed. We just looked it up online. Location was probably the main obstacle. Sad, we were going there on our next visit.
Yes they have closed. We are in contact with the owners and they are hoping to open in a new location. We will keep you updated if this comes to fruition

They have closed now and haven’t reopened yet but Roma Table and Local Goat both have gluten free options 😊

According to Google Map the bear cub cafe is closed permanently.
They are. We are in contact with the owner and they are hoping to reopen in a new location soon.

It’s a neat place to visit for a few days, but if you go during peak season be ready for horrendous traffic, extremely long waits for restaurants, and paying $20 to park.
