How do you know he was taken many get abandoned or lost pr there mom dies. Dont just assume.
@@RICHIE_RICH89 No, this is very rare. If you see a youtube video claiming a baby was abandoned, 99% of the time they will have killed the mother.

I can't even begin to tell you how devastating I find this. My heart just breaks. He's alone. He needs his Mom. Why can't people just leave these sentient beings alone to live out their lives the way nature intended. However, I'm glad that at least, I hope, be transferred to one of the rehabilitation facilities that will help him get back to his jungle home safely.
Of course, this baby orangutan will be placed in an orangutan rehabilitation center. This baby orangutan is already in the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation
The saddest part is mom was likely murdered, perhaps right in front of this little guy, so they could sell him via the illegal pet trade!! Bastards!!

Every time I see an orphan, my heart sinks. They are supposed to be with their momma at least until their eight years of age. He seems so sad. ;(

Poor baby, can you imagine how terrifying it is for these animals, not just orangutans 🦧 monkeys 🐒 chimps, bonobos, imagine a tiny baby bonobo, who’s been aggressively snatched from its mom and it’s entire troop, now so tiny it knows nothing but to cling and suck, now you’re surrounded by a strange species that’s 20 times bigger than you, constantly grabbed, poked, and they all just stand around, grinning and laughing and making noises that you don’t understand, and you seem to be the only one left of your species, how terrifying that must be, God bless the kind hearted humans who take the time to rescue and try to heal these tiny souls, 😪

All primates are wild animals which can never be pets as you pointed out. Any attempt to keep them is totally wrong. I have sadly seen videos of people trying to treat them as 'babies' , dressing them up in clothes and mistreating them when they act up. You are quite right then. Totally agree, these gorgeous little animals have 97% the same DNA as us. They are so intelligent and are on the endangered wildlife list. Sure they are so adorable as babies but what happens to them once they get older. This species can live 40-50 years old. I bet they won’t want them then.

Actually if this is the one i think it is. It wasn't Actually kept as a pet. Sometimes they find them abandoned in the palm oil plantations and rice fields. They don't have transportation like we do so they kept him like a week until someone could come pick them up. They fed she gave it a bath. Remember these animals live in the wild in 3rd world countries
The ultimate proof that being incredibly cute has it's downsides. Thank heavens this poor, innocent baby was saved.

What a beautiful box. You can store movies in it. Maybe keep some precious stones in it. Maybe even put a gift for someone special in it and wrap it up. I would live to have that box. I hope that box lives a long and happy life. It’s a tremendous box.

there is poaching because there is demand from the people. once the demand for buying pets stops, the poaching will. people mostly wanted pets not because of wanting to care for them. but to play them as if they are toys. animals aren't toys. they have feelings just like you and me.

What CONSEQUENCE will the person keeping him as a pet receive?? There is a law that precludes people from keep endangered animals as pets. So it seems the law simply needs to be ENFORCED!!

The moms are murdered as the baby watches. The babies are roughly handled by kidnappers and sold as pets to people who force them to be children, workers, performers, etc. This traumatized them for life and they develop all kinds of problems and can turn on you. Then their given up or killed. Why can people be human? How would you feel if your child was kidnapped and someone murdered you to get it?

Nie w tym przypadku. Matka tego orangutana prawdopodobnie została zabita żeby stał się on zwięrzątkiem domowym, ale są organizacje pozarządowe w Indonezji co je faktycznie ratują. Radzę przeczytać artykuły o Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation.

If these babies die they just go and get more and they will continue to rape and bleed this resource until there are no more orangutans. Then they will move on to another animal to exploit. He's so little. He needs to be held closely. Sure he might have some parasites but he needs your help. You can get rid of them easier than he can alone he doesn't know how and a woman has longer gait to mess with, plus if you can't get them outra your hair you look better with a buzz hair than a woman does. Baby hunt needs holding close someone's body for security. He's so very cute! Sometimes they're not left somewhere because they were bought as a pet but through reading and listening to documentaries, some are abandoned with their mom's are killed for Bush meat then either kill it or just leave it to die? Forrester are also cutting down the natural trees so businessmen can plant palm oil trees. After cutting down the natural trees they burn everything left. Stumps, leaves and yes momma apes going back into the fire to find their babies and burn to death while the baby's outside of the flames. Aprx 1700 babies have been orphaned just got this one reason. There's others like the ones your talking about. It's all heartbreaking. They're so adorable luckily at this age they can be trained to go back home to the jungle if people will not or can not do it. He's so scared to even make a peep or even move. I'd do just about anything to work with and for them then donate my income to help with fund 22 what I would be making.
