  • Here we have the Split-Fire 3203 on a Kioti CS2220
Some tractors may not have the flow and pressure required to run a log splitter which is why we offer a PTO kit. Have questions? Give us a call or see more at split-fire.com/products/

If it where not three point and had some whells on it id be intersested. But this adds a tremndous amont of weight on the rear of the tracor. Plus all my tractors i dont have the three point option.

Have a look at our 3255. We have a good range of log splitters with wheels. 7.5 ton to 32.

I'm considering one of these for a 2014 Kubota MX5200 with a LA1065 front loader. I do not have a rear remote kit. Would my tractors hydraulic system run that unit in the video or would I need the pto kit? Would a quick connect/skid steer unit work off the loader hydraulic system on the front of the tractor?

Your machine has average flow (9.5 GPM) and lower pressure (2560 psi).
I recommend a 3000 series machine with the dedicated 2 way knife. It will give you good splitting force with decent knife speeds. The machines that fit this description would be the 3203, 3206 and 3207.

A 2000 series would give you faster cycle time, but may not give you enough pressure to split properly. The 2000 series would also limit you to the 2203, as there are no skid mount options for that machine.

I have a kubota l4701 with bh97 backhoe. No rear remotes. Can I use the hydraulic lines that go to the backhoe to run one of these?

If you have continuous flow and enough flow/pressure, it should work!

Can the PTO option be purchased separately at a later time or should it be ordered along with the splitter?

It can be ordered with the machine, or at a later date.

would a bota b 5200 have the flow needed to operate this splitter

Unfortunately the flow on that machine is not sufficient. www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/001/2/6/1267-kubota-b5200.html says your machine is 4gpm.
And the minimum power we require for our PTO kit is 18 horsepower, while your tractor is only 13.

This looks awesome!!! I have a kubota M7040, 1 set of rear remotes. Would I need a PTO kit or be better to just use tractor hydraulics? Also, what size model would fit my tractor best? Thank you.

The PTO kit would offer the same hydraulic flow as your tractor, so it is not needed.
Either a 3203 or a 3403 will be the best for your application (considering hydraulic flow/pressure).

@@SplitFireSalesInc That sounds great to me. Thank you for the information. Need to work some overtime and then get me one of those.
