I fully agree with the inclusion of the Sangomon/Shellmon/Yao package. Suprisingly few people are playing them but I've found them very effective in testing.
Hey guys, just a quick note to keep in mind when doing Combo #2. After using Plesiomon's effect to DNA into Aegisdramon, and if you use the effect of Plesiomon to attack, you need to declare your attack target first. Then, the When Digivolving and When Attacking effects of the stack will trigger at the same time so you can choose which order you want to activate them. Once all effects have been resolved (including any On Play effects of the DS Digimon played out via Aegisdramon), battle will then happen which is the last thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when using Yao effect to add a Digivolution card, if you add something with [When Attacking] inherit you do NOT get that inherited effect on this attack, because it wasn't there on attack declaration, correct? If incorrect, can you direct me to the ruling that states this is allowed? Was told at locals it works this way, but wanted to be sure. I threw stuff together based on what i saw in the gameplay video for DS, but having the full list is helpful. Hopefully it can do well at locals! Cheers~
Basically, when the attack starts, you can activate all the "When attacking" effects that were there at the time. If you attach something with Yao's "When attacking", the attack already started.
Yes, you are correct. The "When Attacking" effect dosent trigger if it was tucked under after the attack was declared. It can only trigger if the stack makes a second attack. Hope this helps!
I’m new to digimon but in combo 3 he dna into aegisdramon with plesiomon and metalseadramon but the aegisdramon says lvl5 w/ seadramon in name. Isn’t the metalseadramon to high lvl to be used for the dna digivolution? 14:39
I understand that this deck is all about swarming the board but, Huankunmon is too much plus he only does level 3s, if you switch out 2 of Huankunmon for 2 DS Whamon or blocker Huankunmon then you’ll have a better fighting chance against decks that redirect attacks as well as have more bodies for Aegisdramon to blast out. Synergy, man!
@@christopherbennett5858 Use Gomamon X. DS Gomamon searches Goma X. Goma X searches Sea Beast, Plesiosaur, Beastkin(Vikemon), and x-antibody trait. I find that it slides right in nicely and opens up Plesio X plays like tucking Plesio DS under Whamon, then digivolve into Plesio X to get full x antibody value.

Good build and sound logic. I went for a DS build including the mullosk x antibodies+ goma x/sea beast line. Its working surprisingly well.
