I'm not a Digi guy, but this sample pack sounds amazing...........wish you had it in a format for the Deluge as well.............best of luck......killler
PS - I will of course be purchasing this evening on gum road 👍🙂. Would love to hear more about how you made some of these eg sounds and instruments sampled, etc. I’m sure it was a huge amount of work and time to produce the pack !
Thanks a lot Ken !! You are absolutely right ... information about the origin of the sounds is completely missing. I also had so much more planned for the release (a tutorial on patreon, at least one proper track (song) .... ) But my plans were thwarted and it totally knocked me out for several weeks (nasty cold / maybe even covid) and I couldn't do anything other then trying to handle the pain. Now I'm slowly feeling better and I didn't wanted to postpone the release even further ... and the planned things will be handed in later. The samples come from various sources. Some sound names reflect the source somewhat. Starting with an jet unreleased sound pack for the Hydrasynth, some sounds from the Digitone... partly through the Analog Heat and Microcosm, lots of drones and textures from the modular, field recordings... Most of the sounds were creates in a musical context and have appeared in my tracks before. But the samples themselves are really only the first part of the work. The biggest task was to bring the mono samples back to life on the Digitakt and to disguise that they are only looping samples.
@@substan_music Thanks for the reply 🙂Sorry to hear you have been ill - get well soon ! Yes, that is as I suspected re full range of samples and most of the work/skill being in shaping these into continuous sounds using DK parameters. I downloaded from Gumroad just now. Can't wait to transfer and start playing with these. That's one of the great things about samplers I think, every new set of samples/sounds brings an instant new lease of life and inspiration to the machine. Thanks !
Thanks !! A create these backgrounds with many different video clips and/or pictures. I use Davinci Resolve to blend them together or I use a program called Videosync which allows to work with video clips in Ableton live.
Just wondering: are the samples used in this soundpack in stereo? That would make it perfect for the Digitakt II as well! (I know, mono samples would work just fine on the Digitakt II, but hey: the machine is stereo. 😊) Thanks!
Unfortunately, at the time I didn't expect that we would one day be able to use stereo samples on the Digitakt. But also the third LFO, Comb filter, the introduction of Machines have expanded the sound design possibilities so much that completely different sounds are now possible... so I will start working on DigiSphere II very soon.
@@substan_music Awesome! Count me in - I use your Digitone soundpack almost on a daily basis. Such great sounds and so instructive to see what you did to make them. 👍🏻
Thanks Sascha !! REALLY love the DN Keys. It feels like a different Instrument for me. The extra knobs and outputs make huge difference. It's also great to control other gear. With a press of a button you decouple the keyboard from the synth engine and use it as a midi keyboard for other devices.
Happy to hear that !! Yes it works but I’m not sure if every detail translates correctly. I will soon start to work on a DigiSphere II sound pack which will make use of all the new features the DT2 offers.
Hello, I just subscribed to your channel, I really like what you do. I had a question, you who seem to be an expert in Elektron ^^. I put together a set up from scratch and I don't know the Elektron (I played on MC-909 and EMX1), I'm very interested in the Syntakt to play live mainly Tekno/tribe/Acid (and also Dub and hip-hop). Do you think this is the right machine to start from scratch? Ps: sorry for the mistakes I'm french Thanks in advance
Thanks a lot ... and welcome !! I think the Syntakt is the perfect device if for the first step into the Elektron eco system. For the styles of music you mentioned, it also fits really well.
I'm happy to help you ... can you describe it a little more precisely? Can't find the files on your hard drive? .. or in the browser of the transfer app? Make sure you are using the latest version of the transfer app.
@@substan_music Thank you for you support! it was in the browser , just yesterday i upgrade de latest version 1.2, i still don´t chek if the sound is there , in the browser. Other question, you have a tutorial to learn make drones? or if you teach how make this? thank you!
@@bassimat That's up to you, of course :) ... in any case there will be no overlap ... new samples, new sounds ... only this time in stereo and with the new sound design possibilities of the DT II ... and will take a few more weeks
@@substan_music I will wait then and get it from my birthday - so I know what to ask from my son :))))) Thank you for the AMAZING work you are doing and cheers from Italy! If you are around in Italy in Venice area please write me and I will be happy to give you suggestions on nice spots where to go Matteo
It's just 8 preselected sounds on pattern 1 ... a starting point to explore the pack ... the other 15 pattern in Bank A just contain my effect settings. Like with the DigiTales pack I will add a few proper project files (tracks/songs) to the sound pack soon.

Simply inspiring :)

Is it compatible with the Digitakt II ?
Yes ... the patches work also on the DT II ... DigiSphere II for (only) DT II is already in progress
are the pad sounds in major or minor?
all "kind of" minor ...
