He was only going to be in this pilot anyway
This would of fit better on Netflix.
Aw man, I wish we had this instead of Axel F
These clips actually look pretty good!
This was better than Beverly Hills Cop 3 for sure.
@@bigdoghu and 4.
That's a low bar to clear
@@j.cgallagher7092you high
@3PriMaL Unfortunately not. You'd have to be high to enjoy 4. A ridiculous children's movie.
@@j.cgallagher7092 a lot of people did including me ig we all children I’m fine with that
Corny
Then swipe left dummy
Should have kept Brandon t Jackson would have been a great come back ! He is so funny it would have been great but they replaced him with randomness still haven’t watched this on Netflix
Not gritty enough. Needed to look more like the films.
Why wasn’t his son in the third one?
So Jane has a brother??? Nah I know this isn’t cannon but it would’ve been cool though if it was lol
This would have been so good. I want to see more now
They got part 4 coming out
The full episode finally "leaked" a few months ago. I saw it a few weeks ago right after I watched this video. I thought it was pretty solid. Even if Eddie was never gonna be in all episodes, the chemistry and dynamic was there between Brandon T Jackson and the other 2 cops who were his Billy and Taggart so it definitely would have been a good enough buddy cop TV show.
Heck yeah me to !
@@megafan2000 the whole pilot is on RUclips now. Was glad to see it, finally after chasing down set photos and snippets! Passing of the jacket was boss; good luck getting three days a year to wear it in So. Cal.
@@allanbard6048 nice that it's on RUclips but I do wonder if Paramount eventually takes it down. I saw it on internet archive, so it was clean without the French subtitles on it.
No. Just no. Axel F belongs on film, not tv
Thank god this wasn't picked up, to PG for beverly hills cop
This is Bad Boys TV series
Eddie looks like he hasn't aged since BHC3
tough. but the new movie is better.
This could’ve been a really good movie. I like the chemistry.
Rocky 4 mansion
Eddie Murphy's performance as Axel F for just nostalgia sake is probably the only redeeming factor here. I wouldn't call Murphy's appearance noteworthy. His performance is dead flat. Like he couldn't give a shit.
Why didn't Murphy act like this in the 4th one? He was so bad in it but so was everything else too.
This came out a decade ago , not the same energy or vibe plus Eddie didn't want to do it.
But this is way better than Axel F. I'm wondering why Murphy couldn't have given this level of performance in the new one. He's absolute garbage in it.
@j.cgallagher7092 in both cases it was for the paycheck. Eddie doesn't like this type of stuff anymore. He now wants family friendly. The most edgy he's gone in 20 years is the biopic dolomite , he had co writers that helped him develop it also. Then he solely wrote coming to america 2 wich was pretty bad unfortunately.
1st time watching this despite knowing about it for many years. It looks pretty solid. I'm sure the full version is out there online somewhere.
There's a certain well-known Internet archive site you might want to try...
It's on youtube (w/French subtitles).
I never knew they tried to make a Beverly Hills Cop tv show.
It was better this was cancelled.
But in Axel F 2, he needs to be canonized as Taylor Paige older brother
So weird seeing this now a 4th film is out.
no badges shown instantly complies and gives video footage/evidence, great script writing
😂
It's entertainment yo....not that deep
that was dope
Love the vibe they had. They should have done some other movie.. way different vibe than with the daughter angle
I'm so glad they have let this one out. I thought I'd never see it. Now I'm hoping for Kevin Bacons Tremors TV pilot to come online
Hell yeah
Brandon t jackson was everywhere for about 5 years then disappeared
Man eddie is just always amazing as axel foley. I could watch him play this guy forever
so they really just acted like this never happened? so they cancelled this show and made a 4th movie just to NOT use this idea? but spin it with a daughter and doesn't even mention his son? Brandon T didn't even have to be in it. but to leave this plot hole wide open as if it didn't exist is just artistically foolish. 4 still was good, but now im' disappointed with the lazy writing (if you seen the Die Hard sequels post "with a vengeance" you'll understand)
Never even knew about this, looks like it could’ve been good
This some bullshit man we should have got this
The hotel desk scene was actually pretty funny.
Felt it was pretty bland ...the pilot is a ruff watch an Eddie def has a ton of bad films but this pilot 🗑
@@kamikazeekobra7187 I mean...it's a CBS procedural pilot.
@RapRants lethal weapon was a procedural pilot also ... the difference is that it was actually good... even training day the series which was on CBS it was 100 times better 😂😂😂😂cringy comedy just like that rush hour series 🗑
Why did this not happen instead of that watered down ass shit that’s on Netflix
Is it me or does this lady 3:39 looks like Mick Jagger! 😂
Not terrible...
I wonder if that's the reason why Axel doesn't have his old Lions jacket in the new movie.
Maybe they should had turned this into a movie instead
I mean, if Eddie Murphy would've committed to more appearances and he had more scenes with Rosewood, it could've worked short-term. Definitely not more than one season, if that.
I’m glad this show didn’t happen
I felt like we could of got at least one season out of this
I don’t think Murphy was going to be in all of it. Just the pilot
@thribs even still it would been good I think he would made cameos
Not surprised this pilot didn’t go forward as a series. I’m sure between Eddie Murphy and Jerry Bruckheimer their salaries ate up about 90% of the budget.
Man I love the old tv but I wish they did what streaming did instead of cancelling
I don’t remember this coming out
It's just the pilot that never went to series. It was shot in 2013 but didn't get "released" until just last year.
I have a feeling this would've been a great show.😊
So in this alternate reality Rosewood is the mayor?
Rosewood mayor, An had a son instead of a daughter
This is pretty good! I like the chemistry between Eddie and Brandon.
