Happy birthday Nigel !! 🎉
Have a great birthday Nigel. You have been such a huge help for me. Thanks. It is me and my trees.....
Happy early birthday Nigel! Thank you for sharing this experience I think you really reach your goal to make these thicker roots divide! Can't wait to see this tree in a year or two! I will definitely try this on my ficus to avoid aerial roots getting out of proportion. Thanks for all that knowledge I'm learning so much in each video. From Montreal merci beaucoup!!
Nicely done, your tree is going to look fantastic soon of you water it properly this summer!
Happy Birthday Nigel!🎉 I'm watching the Bonsai Zone since 2014! So i guess it's a decade were i put your wisdom in my own trees here in east germany. So far so good let's keep it going!
Happy Birthday Nigel!
July 4th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIGEL!!!!!!!!!
Am happy to see the good results and you had many options, sweet! Guess it gonna look even more "ficusy" when all roots are stabilized etc.😀
Nice to see that this famous tree is on the right way and is doing well
nice work Nigel your every trees is a very healthy and a bonsai look is very good l Love it ❤🌳
Wow! Amazing root growth!! Happy, I guess, Belated Birthday now. ❤
Thanks Marysol, hopefully many more to go!!!
wow that is really fun u had balls like always i was scared last time u let me thinking and see this now wow what a surprise it will be so beautiful can t wait to see more update
One thing I'm curious about with this experiment. I wonder if aerial roots are different and have different growth patterns then roots in the soil. I'm wondering if your experiment predicted soil roots and not aerial roots and maybe they'll dry out and not continue growing after the soil is removed? I'm not sure please keep us updated 😁
Nigel addressed this in the video. He said if you plant the tip of the root it will stay alive but harden and grow bark.
I wonder how you are able to get such roots in a small span of time.
I am your fan and started by bonsai journey after watching your videos
Can you please share the temp , humidity, fertiliser etc that you use to get such root growths ?
Ficus Wednesday....❤❤
It's Tuesday! Don't do that to me 😂 My heart can't take it, I have deadlines 🤣
Happy birthday, great present 🎂 🥳 🎉enjoy😊
Bomb pop man! ( what we call the ice cream truck here)!!
You've gone from grey pineapple to Medusa! Lol!
Lisa
Hi from Italy!
Hello there!
Happy birthday in advance sir🎉
Look beautiful
My hair😂 A glorious Klingon mane!!😂🤣
Thank you to Nigels hair ❤
That was a pretty stinking slick reveal, good sir. The “hairy” roots looked in scale if this were a humongous tree.
Also, how ironic would it be for you to wire the roots for placement? 😉hehe
Thật tuyệt vời 👍👍👍👍
👍👌👌
Ariel roots can be trained with plastic straw, you can arrange the roots anyway you like
yay another ficus.
My immediate thought on seeing all those roots is that you could have moulded them into buttress or even ribbon roots
Your hair I not terrible Nigel. Just knotted and tangled.
🍍👍
Foist
Foist of the foisters!!
" BRAVO "
