Thanks Ken. I love that photo of S.R.T. with the winged sunglasses! You're right, she truly was an original, one of a kind entertainer. For anyone interested, there is a good bio on her called Shout, Sister, Shout! -by Gayle F. Wald
Great topic and comments /analysis about all those cool releases. Don’t know exactly what we will get here in France, but looking forward to RSD. Greetings from Paris
Great music on the intro. Nothing like starting with Gary ant Pat. Can't wait for the next two, it was very informative. Although, I'm gonna have to get a second job soon. Keep up the good work Ken. thx
Love the city sounds in the background when your talking😎thanks for the rundown Ken, much appreciated and helps narrow things down. Concerning the two Cannonball live titles Poppin, Boppin which would you choose if you only could choose one performance and fidelity wise? Gonna have to pick that Rollins up. Between this set and the Village Complete BN set that is coming out Sonny is going to pick my pockets bare ;) Look forward to the next review parts👍🏻
Meh, with the planned scarcity, not all people will get what they want. The biggest problem is that concept of releasing things in limited quantities just for RSD, there is always a handful of records which is are truly great and they will sell out. A better way is to make limited editions for RSD, that way collectors and flippers can do their things and touch themselves on RSD, and then release a regular version of said titles for people just want to have the record for the music. That way everyone is a winner.or just end Record Scam Day
Where are parts 2&3, I’m eagerly awaiting them
sorry, been gone to cover AXPONA, will do this week.
A lot to look forward to this RSD. Thanks for the rundown, Ken 🍻✨

Thanks Ken. Gonna be a great Record Store Day.
I'll need to save my money to be ready for those albums. Thank you for sharing, Ken.
Fantastic video Ken! Really been looking forward to seeing you run down these RSD 24 releases! Can't wait for Part 2 and 3!🙌

I think I’m gonna have to have the Rollins set. Who’s in the band on that one?
Two different trios, one with Pete, LaRocca, and Henry Grimes, the other I’ll have to check
Insightful and helpful. Appreciate these types of videos.
Best RSD jazz selection in years, I’ll see you first thing in the morning 4/20
Shelley Manne at the Blackhawk is a very welcome reissue! Phenomenal! I hope they do all 5 volumes

Poppin is the better record
Is that a Volti behind you? Hoping to hear his new Lucera & excited about Devore’s upcoming offerings. Good time for music!
Yes, hoping to review the Lucera
Which of your last videos is the one that discusses the Catalyst, Black Jazz and Mainstream labels you mentioned?
That sometime last year.
