@@hesya5400 Basically, they're trying to say that Megatron isn't actually that bad of a guy. He was oppressed by a corrupt society, rose up as a leader, and helped others. Only that this is completely false for THIS VERSION of Megatron.

@@UncleAsmos2005 While that may be true, outside of comics which weren't really canon to begin with, we aren't given a backstory to the war, or Megatron really. Like we know he worked for the fallen, but other than that he is a mystery outside of having once been Prime's friend and "brother" as mentioned in the Last Knight. Bayverse Megatron is still largely unfleshed out, hes just kinda, there and evil.

Transformers prime and and the transformers cybertronian series explain that Megatron and Optimus where brothers and fighting to allow all cybertronians freedom to choose there jobs and such reguardless of what they where born to be like some are born as miners and workers and others are package deliveries and such…..the ones that become the decepticons where military personnel and oppressed workers such as miners builds etc…..when Megatron and Optimus where working together the council of cybertron rejected megatrons and Optimus reforms which pissed Megatron off causing him to lead a rebellion to better the lives of everyone
Optimus believed that fighting was wrong wich then lead to the civil war instead of a peaceful one sided takeover like Megatron was aiming for….he never wanted a war until Optimus rallied those who didn’t like what Megatron was doing and thus the civil war broke out and destroyed everything
