The most important part of why I took sub MD is because of access to teleport, and the widened and dual element effect of Nemesis. There's also the matter of Siphon being available to stack up Enchanted Burst, like how 1H+Shield can use P.Def to stack Revenir. And both feel equally powerful too.
Oh dear that stun+storm combo is just nuts. It's gonna be super challenging for your shield mage, and it will be a slow kill too with how much it moves. Will be one hell of an endurance test.
Practically can solo almost everything. It cannot really be a tank because of low aggro, and it forces a shield to do so. Md is for accessing siphon to charge enchanted burst, dual element nemesis with wider range, and weaken ail access to allow magic critical while using non-crt substat.

Taking the MD approach instead of Shield for damage. Allowing use of Weaken on enemy and Magic Skin to survive. Very nice
