- Cody Glass recorded his first career hat trick, Tommy Novak added a goal and an assist and Juuse Saros made 25 saves as the Nashville Predators picked up their eighth straight win defeating the Colorado Avalanche 5-1.

Yes. We do have a lethal team. But if we cant figure out our road game it's over. Really look forward to nichuskin to come back. Would love to see landy. But yes. Just a flat out good game by the preds. No excuses here. Just a very good consistent game produced by the predators.

Nobody bringing it up, but that Tommy Novak move at 8:50 was insane. The fake pass deke had everyone in the stadium, including the Avs D lost.
That was a slick move, had the defenseman drifting and the goalie fooled and in one smooth motion got the shot away. Might be too subtle for Top 10 of the week but definitely worthy
Datsyukian. A smooth and simple move that had the defender in the wrong zip code
that was great but wouldnt have mattered if he hadnt ripped it top shelf.

Novak is one of the most underrated young guns in the league. Man's a stud.

Predators havent lost since I called them out for underperforming two weeks ago.

Не только О'Райлли, а вся команда. Все 12 форвардов, 6 защитников и Сарос сыграли на пике.
И именно все сыграли, у всех игроков как минимум 12 минут на льду, даже у таких игроков, как Коул Смит и Майкл МакКэррон.
Я за Лавин болею, с 2002 года, а старина Райан за нас играл не один сезон, он для нас родной!!!

Hard to stop a team on home ice desperate to keep a streak alive.
It’s wonderful how despite them not being the best on home ice this season they have just been getting those dubs in this win streak and at home

they actually have a terrible home record and great road record. i think this game put them one game above 500. at home.
@@deathgrinderb3284 yeah your right and I am kind of surprised that they’ve won these past three games of the home stand based on their home record. I think the Wild game is what put them at .500 at home because I’m pretty sure I saw that their home record now is 17-15 or something like that.
What a great overall game by the Preds tn. Outplayed the Avs tn. More hungrier and wanted it more. And wore the Avs down. This team is really going for it. And playing for each other! So excited to see what’s next for this team!

The only problem with the Avs right now is injuries. Landy and the Nuke come back, all is fixed. Makar seems to be going through stuff too, maybe give him a couple games off.
It's been rough missing a couple of pieces. I'm just not sure who the front office would get that makes sense.

I hope the Preds don't make any dumb trades. This is a true 4 line team. Not one forward played over 16 minutes. Meanwhile Nathan Mackinnon played over 21 minutes because they were chasing the game and having to double shift him at the end because they are so reliant on that top line. Don't get me wrong the Avs are still amazing but with four lines contributing they can wear down other teams and still get it done on both sides. I think preds should maybe trade Barrie since he isn't playing much but don't move any of these guys they are getting it down up and down the lineup.

@Lilith-daughter-of-hatred yes but you can't deny that many teams rely on one or two lines for most of their scoring and roll the 3rd and 4th just enough for the top guys to rest.
The Preds have to play that kind of game because they don’t have the individual forward talent like the Avs or any other other elite teams. If they had MacKinnon or Rantanen, they’d play them as much as they could too.
@davidmunson8780 I know, it's not about talent. I'm just saying they play it to perfection. The four line game. It keeps players fresh and can tire other teams top lines out. I just brought this up saying I think the preds shouldn't make any major trades at the deadline.
I very much hope that they keep Saros.

No they won't. You keep forgetting y'all performing in the regular season very well. But remember we are a Stanley cup team and contender. The regular season is a tune up. Trust and believe the avs will remember every lost and get better. I love when my team loses bcuz that means you need to get better and teams show you what your lacking. But just remember this is dangerous. But anything can happen in the playoffs. I hope the preds do well. But don't count my team out. Remember we have a championship caliber team mindset. This team will be on there A game once the playoffs are here. McKinnon and Ranty know and the vertans we have this is a dark horse team. Teams are gonna take us lightly due to our goaltending. Watch out it might bite alot of teams in the butt. But hey great game preds. Good luck in the playoffs.

@annemarie1507 Couldn't afford him for one thing. Also, he had one good season when he decided to not to be an idiot in the playoffs. His other Avs seasons were mediocre. The Avs had to move on at some point. And the it's not like he's lights out for the Flames. The Flames had to dump high end talent to afford Kadri and it hasn't worked out for them at all
