A huge Thank You!!! That loose ball adapter is funky without any instructions. The eye hook, another great idea.

Great instructional video. LabRadar does not have anything that shows the detail you do and Im sure that is why they get some complaints about the stability of the unit.
You also do a great job showing the stabilization set up of the mounting head rigging. Nowhere in the directions from the manufacturer ddoes it show the allen key set up.
    Great job sir.

Thanks Dean. My biggest issue is audio. I spend a lot of time cleaning up the audio track to remove a lot of background noise the audio equipment picks up.

Great job. My attachment point to the LabRadar unit is NOT like yours though. they revised it with some kind of slide device so it is NOT the quick disconnect like yours.
    Thanks for the tips though.

Great video; thank you for your effort! Your brass catcher looks beneficial. I have one for my rifle shooting but need one for auto pistol. Can you refer me to the brass catcher that you use? Thank you in advance.

Michael, thank you. The brass catcher is from cm-machine dot com. They call it the Ultimate Brass Catcher.

I would buy one if I could figure out how to have it hook up to a picatinny rail. Any ideas?

Based on a quick Internet research, I think it might be possible.
The cheapest, more straight forward solution appears to be the Solomark/Gosky Gun Adapter for Camera Screw.
A more involved solution would be a tripod ball head with quick release plate. It does not need to be a multi hundred-dollar model. You should be able to get one for less than $100. The quick release plate would be attached to the Labradar unit. And then the plate attaches to the tripod head. Then you will need a plate that you attach the tripod head to and then attach the plate to the picatinny rail. It appears the Vortex Picatinny Rail Tripod Mount would work, but I cannot be certain because there is little description of the product. For example, while I see a mounting screw hole on top of the plate, I cannot find the thread size of that hole. For camera tripods, the mounting screw is usually 3/8”-16. Nor do I see how you can access the mounting screw from underneath the plate.
I assume you do not intend to mount the Labradar unit to the firearm itself. The recoil of the firearm will make the readings unreliable and could damage the Labradar unit.

@@22lr_plinking OK, if you are wanting to attach your firearm to the All Purpose Mount, then you might just need the Vortex plate. But you will want to find out from Vortex what the thread size of their plate is before purchasing. The quick release plate that comes with the the All Purpose Mount uses a 1/4"-20 thread. So if it works out, you would attached the quick release plate to the Vortex plate and then attach the Vortex plate to the firearm and when at the range, place them both into the tripod head of the All Purpose Mount. If the thread size of the Vortex plate is 3/8-16, conversion inserts can be purchased to change it down to 1/4-20.

knowledge2you thanks very much for the reply. I will search and see where this vortex plate is available

@@22lr_plinking Hope it works out. When I got the All Purpose Mount, the ball head (tripod head) was loose. I show in the video how to tighten it. You may want to watch at least that part of the video.
