@@Viktor21771 I have to be more precise (Season 3, episode 728): Eric was about to leave Stephanie after she found Beth´s husband and send him to Paris where Beth followed. At this time Eric felt miserable, came closer to Brooke and pursued her. Brooke definitely was NOT the one to initiate this. Means she did not ´´steal´´ Eric.
The actor playing Dr. Nunez also played the Cuban lothario on *The Golden Girls* who was dating both Sophia and Blanche. And Stephanie and Brooke have similar personalities to Sophia and Blanche, even their names start with the same letter! 😂 @Esi @TriniT
*@Annie* - The Sally & Ridge scene is another instance of the show converging the two post-Venice storylines: Macy's death (the tragic result of the trick Rick and Taylor played on Brooke) and Morgan's arrival (Ridge and Taylor's "punishment" for that trick). It's interesting too because what Sally says about a child being a part of its mother's body _also_ contextualizes Morgan's psychological breakdown and evil actions since she lost two babies in ways that are closely tied to her body. Thus Sally is giving Ridge insight into _both_ Taylor and Morgan. This once again makes Sally the Greek Chorus, narrating the story of these two women and then in the next scene we see those two women fighting.
YES! And we also see how Ridge and Sally are connected, not only through what they have experienced and why (the death of a daughter indirectly due to what happened in Venice), but also through what they _don't even know_ about what is happening in the present, and what will happen in the future. Sally and Ridge don't know that their presumed dead daughters are actually alive and with their other parents who have disappeared, and who are prevented from communicating this to Ridge and Sally, due to criminaIs making that communication impossible. And both Ridge and Sally will learn the truth eventually, when they reunite with both their child and her other parent. Sally's words that losing a child is a miIIion times worse for the mother is not necessarily true for Ridge and Taylor (where it minimizes Ridge's grief over Steffy), but it _is_ true for Ridge and _Morgan,_ since Ridge never mourned the loss of Morgan's unborn children. And it is of course also true for Sally and Adam, but for a different reason (since Adam hasn't actually lost Macy).
Even though the Forresters and Spectra were ongoing rivals between family and the companies, it was always good to see Sally having a good heart when Ridge was struggling.
Taylor, you knew Morgan was delusional when she spoke to you as if you weren't married and disrespected you in your face sent an email from your computer then called you on the phone lying about artificial insemination, and tricked your husband into sleeping with her in your beach house. Morgan, Stephanie, and Brooke's storyline is a waste of time. Brad Bell should have had Taylor knock Morgan out and run with Steffi because Morgan going to jail would have been better because Ridge, Taylor, and Stephanie did an amazing job keeping the viewers watching.
The whole staging of this scene is dum b. Why would Taylor let Steffy go back upstairs alone and just sit there to call Ridge instead of running out the house with Steffy and screaming at the top of her lungs? 🙄
This storyline. 🙄 Is it supposed to be humorous? Dramatic? What? It drains my brain to the point where I can't even write anything sensible about it. The only person who seems somewhat in control of the situation is toddler Steffy.
@NewYorkNick0607 bc Beth is such a non entity. I think Steph's solution of stay out of the way of each other is actually the best one. Brooke is toxic and the best way to regain sanity is to distance from toxic ppl, even in your own family. 2:34 Notice how Brooke looks completely disinterested in discussing her part in the problem. She only wants to talk about how much Steph hates her, like Steph just picked her name out the phone book to hate. And the only thing she wants to discuss, is how to get what _she_ wants. With Brooke it is never a two-way street.
@@NewYorkNick0607 for trinidad and tobago we are having heavy rains but it isn't a direct hit. Fortunately the island of trinidad (where I live) lies under the hurricane belt so the storm passes just above us and we just get outer band rains (and I live to the south of the island so it is not so bad where i am, but to the north is a bit worse weather). But Tobago is higher up so more into the hurricane belt. They aren't getting hit directly thank goodness but the weather there is def terrible and they are pretty much under emergency as the storm passes. Another example of how shellfish and self-centered Brooke really is she takes Stephanie away from Ridge and the kids when they need her the most. Because while Steffy is in mourning she needs to spend energy and time to fix her relationship with Brooke🙄
Basically Brooke married another Forrester man just to have family dinners with Stephanie. She also raised her children having in mind Stephanie as a role model ( I can't even imagine what would have happened to her children if she had picked another model)
I know. She keeps mentioning family dinners as a reason to get along. Well, since it's _Thorne_ she married, those won't be very frequent. It's perfectly possible to be married to Thorne and only see his parents three times a year. They can manage that without therapy.
Brooke keeps talking about how important family is... Yet, Steph just lost her actual blood relative grandchild and all Brooke can think about is how to "fix" her relationship with Steph. She's not even trying to come across as sympathetic to the same "family" she so desperately wants to be a part of.
Really, Bell? The side story involves therapy between Brooke and Stephanie. Brooke wants to improve their relationship now? Steffy has died, Taylor has lost her mind and left her husband and kids, and this is how Bell sees Stephanie spending her time, reluctantly, of course? 🫠
There's no way that Steph just lost her grandchild and Brooke thinks she needs to be spending time "fixing" their relationship. How ridiculous. Ain't nobody got time for this 🙄
After Brooke & Stephanie, should have therapy for Brooke & Amber. In 2024, they should have therapy with Brooke, Hope, Steffy, and Thomas. Morgan and Taylor's scene reminds me of when Sally and Penny kidnapped Flo and tied her to a radiator.
Brooke Forrester and Stephanie Forrester in Big Bear together that is disaster in the making it will not be pleasant in the end😮 what is a therapist thinking 🤔
Finally Morgan seems to realize what mess she has gotten herself into - a kidnapped child that refuses to call Morgan mommy, now Taylor being hold captive in Morgan's basement. But wait, Morgan only needs to hear Ridge's voice for a minute on the phone and suddenly it seems as if Morgan is back on her track, her life no longer spinning out of control or she just doesn't care any longer?
Macy on screen died in July 2000 and now we have episodes from Feb. 2001 - but the writing/ dialogue makes it seem as if Macy has been dead for much longer already. At 3:36 Sally tells Ridge that it has been almost a year since she has lost Macy.
First of all Eric wanted a divorce from Stephanie before Brooke came into the picture. And secondly there is only one way for Brooke and Stephanie to go along: Stephanie has to forgive Brooke and Beth. The hate of Stephanie is also because of Beth, not only Brooke. Brooke had to get over what Stephanie did to her family, especially her mother, so why can't Stephanie forgive? If she really wants to she could, but she is arrogant and weak. To forgive it needs a lot of strength and Stephanie does not have this strength at the moment.
What did Stephanie do to Brooke's family that Brooke needed to get over? Stephanie found Brooke's father, who saved Katie's life. Stephanie singlehandedly gave Stephen a career.
Focusing on the fact Eric didn't love Stephanie anymore when he was involved with Beth, is not enough. Stephanie has all the rights to be angry with Brooke. Eric had his faults but Brooke should have never been involved with Eric, not only because he was married ( to her almost ex mother in love), but also: -because her mother loved him, -because he was Ridge's father - because she didn't love him. I guess having the Forrester's name was the thing she wanted the most, then their company and now, after she managed to marry another Forrester man, she wants the last trophy and the most important for her.
@@babs4848 I think Brooke loved Eric for a while and I don't say it was right, but if Stephanie really wants to get over it, she has to forgive. There is no other way. She will forgive her later on and anyway she forgave Eric!
@@Ingrid-rq3mo I disagree. Eric and Stephanie were close after Angela was discovered. Brooke blamed Stephanie when Ridge dumped her, and hence revealed about Beth-Stephen-Paris to Eric. If Eric didn't love Stephanie (or Beth), he wouldn't have been as shocked or hurt to need comfort in Brooke. Brooke was only too happy to snag a Mr. Forrester irrespective of who got hurt (including her mother).
Only a therapy for Brooke would help, if she could and would be honest to herself. She needs to work on herself. Brooke will never do it and sadly no one will ever make her, because everyone (except Stephanie) babies Brooke and will never hold her accountable for anything, because they let her play the fake crocodile victim that she simply wasn't, isn't and never will be. Brooke will be the forever poor little garabage valley girl and the weak and fake victim, who will get away with everything. Eric literally would forgive her of she would kill one if his children. No problem for eric and the rest of the Hoegan puppy dogs.
