I was diagnosed with Allergic Rhinitis, right in the middle of the Burn Pit Registry screening. (Iraq 12/03-03/05). Claim and rating was granted just over five months. Would have took sooner but the first C&P examiner didn't do the examination correctly and had to go through a second exam, no issues.
I was denied kidney cancer. I appealed it Requested a new CMP exam. The problem is even though I know I have a presumption condition. There's him I wasn't in any of the locations I'm under TERA Favorable findings SHOW Toxic exposure So I'm working off favorable findings. Kidney was removed in february With a onset date. Of two thousand fifteen I shut the appeal up 2 weeks and they have already called to Set up a new c and p exam next week.Wish me luck. Hope it's better than the first one took five minutes
Thank you CC. Followed your lead. Caught word of the PACT program and immediately filed few months after August 10, 2022. Vietnam wartime veteran '71. Was 77 yrs old when I filed for AO exposure. After a few C&P exams, awarded 100% P&T for PN after 6 mos. Immediately after, filed again for bilateral upper extremity PN. Was awarded then with SMC-L for AA. Currently, awaiting a decision for an increase filing for worsen condition of LOU of feet due to lower extremity PN. My focus is SMC-R1, if LOU of feet is granted, with two distinct SMC-Ls. Thanks for all that you do via your videos for all veterans...young and old!
Dont give up. Check your decision letter it usually cues on why denied. Fix it with evidence. Pay for a nexus letter if you need to. Go take your benefits is worth it.
I'm going in to the VA for the burn pit registry eval. I filled out the questionnaire a couple weeks ago. They called me today and I'm going in next Thursday for the first one I think it's a chest x-ray and a pulmonary exam later this month. I already have a rating and I'm unsure anything will happen to it. Coworkers have gone and have not had any affect to their current rating.
My pcp won't give me a diagnosis even though my lung cancer screening said I had emphysema. He ordered a pft test for me, and the results clearly put me in the 30% range of disability, but he refuses to even put it on my Problem List. He knows i'm a former smoker, so I guess that's why he doesn't seem that concerned about it.
From what I understand and I can send you the documentation if interested: PACT ACT Expansion Of Persian Gulf Veteran now includes: Israel Egypt Turkey Syria Jordan
Ironic you say that. I too was in Turkey now they have added it to the list about a year ago. I still keep getting denied even though I qualify of the PACT Act.
I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated..

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $100k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.

While the PACT Act may be a start, I really hope there will be an additional carve out for Karshi Khanabad (K2).
I was right in the middle of all that old gulf war but haven't come down with anything yet.
Craig, Sorry did you say that Turkey is/is not a covered location under the Pact Act? (For old school Gulf war vets per your classification?)

true
Box 13 on my DD214 had the medals outlining global war on terror is that what you’re referring to?
Turkey's a yes. gotta look a little harder.
I'm old school, Kuwait 2006-2007; retired 12/2021
38 CFR 3.317 does include Turkey.

I got presumptive conditions granted under 38 CFR 3.317 which includes Turkey.
@@LoneStarSpartan brother which conditions did you get granted. I have Prostate cancer and have been denied 4 times. Now I am in higher level review.
@@billymcneal1239 Not cancer for me. Bring up that CFR, you should be covered.
@@billymcneal1239 Also refer to BPOT 3.320 for the crossover to PACT Act from that CFR.
@@LoneStarSpartan I did been denied 4 times even with a private Nexus from a private doctor and personal statement explaining cancer
I thought gastrointestinal intestinal cancer was also presumptive for gulf war veterans?
What about on a carrier during Iraq freedom and new dawn?
Didn't they add hypertension to the PAC act?
Not as a presumptive condition
That’s for Vietnam Vets.
Still wondering about skin cancer of the face. That's cancer of the head, right?
